Description

The family-friendly holiday village Laguna Village is located north-east of the small harbour town of Caorle, which is famous for its daily freshly caught fish, directly on the wide golden sandy beach of the Adriatic Sea. It takes its name from the Caorle lagoon behind the resort. To the south of the resort is the historic centre of Caorle with its architectural treasures, such as the picturesque Madonna dell'Angelo church on a peninsula in the Adriatic or the 48-metre-high Campanile. Whether swimming, sunbathing, aerobics or cycling tours along the Adriatic, the leisure facilities at the Laguna Village holiday resort offer a varied programme of activities for both young and old holidaymakers. Coin-operated washing machines and dryers are also available to holiday guests.
The Happy Premium accommodation is modern and beautifully furnished. The mobile home offers space for 7 people and consists of a master bedroom with a double bed and two children's bedrooms, each with two single beds. There is another bed in the living room. There are mosquito nets on all bedroom windows. The well-equipped kitchen is located in the living area and has a 4-burner gas hob, crockery, cutlery and cooking pots as well as a fridge with freezer compartment. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and WC. The semi-covered wooden terrace with table, chairs and two loungers/deckchairs invites you to relax in comfort, while the children can let off steam in the playground or by the pool. Air conditioning, travel cot or high chair (for a fee) are also available (book at least one week before arrival). An electric barbecue is available. A car park is included. Note If you require more than one accommodation, this is usually possible with us, as we have several properties of the same house type.
DAY OF ARRIVAL + LENGTH OF STAY
In the period from 29.06.-6.09.24 the arrival and departure day is Saturday and the minimum stay is 7 nights. In the period from 18.05.-28.06.24 the minimum stay is 7 nights (daily arrival possible). During the rest of the year, the minimum stay is 3 nights (daily arrival possible). A short path through the greenery takes you from the holiday village to the beautiful, spacious Levante beach in just one minute, which will surprise you with its width and beautiful location. On one side you can see the historic centre of Caorle, in the foreground the Sanctuary of the Madonna dell'Angelo, on the other side the mouth of the Nicesolo canal and the beautiful lagoon. The sandy beach is completely free and not equipped with sunbeds. However, there are sunbeds and parasols for hire just a few steps towards the old town centre.

Location and surroundings of object

LOCATION
The resort is located to the east of Caorle and is surrounded by three very different, enchanting landscapes: the immaculate nature of the lagoon park, the impressive expanse of the hinterland and the wonderful colours of the sand and sea.
LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS
Camping Laguna Village is located in the lively holiday resort of Caorle. The cosy town centre with its numerous shops, restaurants and entertainment venues is within walking distance. Let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of the Caorle lagoon, which extends over 100 hectares of heath and moorland. The marvellous landscape is particularly beautiful to explore by bike. The picturesque centre of Caorle has retained the charm and magic of the ancient bourgeoisie. The town's two symbolic monuments are the church tower dating back to the year 1000 and the sanctuary of the Madonna Dell'Angelo. Caorle is a multifaceted town because the sea and the beach merge in its history and traditions. It lies on the Adriatic Sea between Venice and Trieste and was founded 2000 years ago. The Venetian historian Trino Bottani (1811) confirms that the Roman fleet was stationed here in 238 BC, as evidenced by the many Roman artefacts found in Caorle and in the sea. The fishing harbour is located in the old town, which is now a pedestrian zone. The old houses in lively pastel colours in the alleyways and squares (Calli and Campielli) are reminiscent of the Venetian tradition of the town and have a particularly enchanting atmosphere. The church of the Madonna dell'Angelo, located at the eastern end of the promenade, is the symbol of the lake for the inhabitants of Caorle, who have lived from fishing for many centuries. I Casoni: An excursion to the lagoon allows you to spend a few unforgettable hours in contact with an intact and protected natural oasis, where time passes slowly and silently and where the rhythm of life of the fishermen has remained the same as many years ago. Wild ducks, Italian herons, coots, cranes, etc., live among the typical Mediterranean scrub. Staying in a characteristic reed hut can help to awaken a real love for the sea and for the life of the ancient founders of Caorle. Venice: Venice is built on an archipelago of about a hundred islets of different shapes and sizes. These are separated by several canals called "rio". The largest canal, overlooked by the most beautiful palaces, is called the Grand Canal. You can see it clearly on the city map, as it looks like a large upside-down S. The city is divided into "city neighbourhoods". It is called this because there are 6 neighbourhoods: San Marco, Castello, Cannareggio, Santa Croce, San Polo and Dorsoduro. Its islands: Murano is probably the most famous island in the Venetian lagoon. It is the island of glassmaking, an art traditionally passed down from father to son. A visit to the famous glass distilleries, the Basilica of San Donato and, of course, the precious glass museum is not to be missed: it only takes 15 minutes to get there. Burano The island of Burano, just thirty minutes from Murano, is still an active fishing centre today. Like Torcello, it is part of the classic tour of the islands of the lagoon. Here the visitor finds a place that has the most characteristic atmosphere of the Venice lagoon, both in terms of its inhabitants and its buildings. It is famous for its lace-making and offers the opportunity to discover the wonders of the "noblest and most Italian of all laces". Burano is also the island favoured by painters, thanks to its small houses painted in vivid colours that glow between the blue of the sky and the green of the lagoon. Torcello lies between the lonely sandbanks of the lagoon, about ten minutes by boat from Burano. It is the former capital of the Venetian lagoon. Until the 16th century, it was one of the most important and flourishing centres of the lagoon. Today, only two true gems remind us of this bygone era: the ancient cathedral and the church of Santa Fosca. Also worth a visit are the Museo dell'Estuario with its extraordinary archaeological finds, the Devil's Bridge, the legendary throne of Attila and the austere medieval watchtower, from which you can enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the lagoon.
