We, as a family with a dog, felt very comfortable. The property is fenced, making it ideal for dogs. The furnishings of the house are high quality. We would love to come back.

We spent a few sunny, relaxed days with our dogs at the village house. The property is fenced and surrounded by a tall hedge, making it not visible from the street. There are wooden benches on the terrace, some with a backrest and some without, but unfortunately no chairs or small table to sit under the shade of the fruit trees. The road was already quite busy, so it wasn't completely quiet. Nevertheless, it's a good starting point for day trips, with the dyke less than 10 minutes away by car. The furnishings are somewhat outdated, although the sofa and the bathroom were new. We were surprised by the espresso machine in the kitchen, we haven't had anything like that in any house before! However, there was no bottle or wine opener. We will certainly come back for a few days.

The spacious house in a village that is fairly densely populated with mostly single-family homes is very well, tastefully, and luxuriously furnished. The location is very good for sparsely populated North Frisia; we were in Husum by car in 15 minutes, and even closer are various supermarkets for self-catering, as well as restaurants and cafes. The garden, surrounded on all sides by an almost dense hedge, is large with a lawn and fruit trees. Cars can be parked on the property outside on the driveway to the locked garages. The Wi-Fi is fast and available throughout the property; the excellent television provides many common, German-language TV programs in very good quality and resolution. The kitchen is excellent and newly equipped with, among other things, a Siemens coffee machine, induction hob, two refrigerators/freezers, dishwasher, oven, various cooking utensils, bread slicer, microwave, washing machine, dryer, iron, etc. There is a large dining table in the kitchen, as well as one in the living room and one on the (south) terrace. On the terrace, there was also a large Weber gas grill available. It would be nice if there were cabinets to hang up clothes, such as dresses, blouses, shirts; currently, there are only several chests of drawers. In the shower on the 1st floor, there was no privacy screen on the window; a curtain would be helpful. Additionally, we found the lighting in all rooms quite dim. There are hardly any chairs; instead, there are only long, hard benches without back and side rests and without seat cushions at all dining tables (the existing ones in the house did not fit). We missed comfortable chairs and garden chairs for the garden or terrace. If these (small) shortcomings were not present, the house would be ideal. - We had a great stay and can recommend the house.
