The Engel holiday home is ideal for a relaxing family holiday and also offers space for your four-legged friend. Enjoy the beautiful garden, which invites you to play and relax. There is a parking space for your car and you can spend cosy evenings on the terrace. The wallbox (e-charging station) ensures that your electric car can also be charged during your stay.

The modern kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, kettle and coffee machine, so you can easily cater for yourself. In the living area, you will find a TV to keep you entertained. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also at your disposal.

The Engel holiday home is well equipped for the youngest guests: A cot and high chair are available. Thanks to Wi-Fi, you can stay up to date while on holiday and share your experiences with friends and family. An iron and a hairdryer are also part of the holiday home's facilities.

Location and surroundings of object

Charming small town with castle, beach and nature in Schleswig-Holstein.
The natural beach is only a few metres away. Children can play in the sand there and there are also small crabs to catch. The well-kept Holnis spa beach is about 15 minutes' walk or 5 minutes by bike.
The shallow beach is guarded by the DLRG in summer.
You can spend your holiday in the beautiful nature reserve of the charming Flensburg Fjord. Enjoy the pure sea air, the healthy environment and the controlled, clean water of our stretch of coast. The mild, stimulating climate is recommended by doctors at any time of year.
The town of Glückburg itself and the marvellous fjord landscape also have a lot to offer. For example, a visit to the moated castle or, if the weather is not so nice, a visit to the Fördeland thermal baths is a worthwhile destination.
The rum town of Flensburg offers a beautiful pedestrian zone, several museums and the flair of an old trading town with a very Nordic character, in which some Danish influence can be felt. Of course, you shouldn't miss out on a boat trip to the Danish neighbours. You should also "experience" the Angeln landscape by bike if possible.

A beautiful week in Bockholm

A very beautiful holiday home in a quiet location and centrally located. Very nice landlords who care a lot about their guests feeling comfortable. We had another very nice week and are already looking forward to the next vacation with the Engel family!

Gladly again

Super beautiful accommodation that is extremely well-equipped and very clean. We were in Bockholm for a week in November and felt very comfortable. The house is warm and cozy. The contact with Mr. Engel was very uncomplicated and friendly from the beginning. The provided information is very detailed and leaves no questions unanswered. Cozy

In the Engel family's holiday home, we felt very comfortable. The landlord informed us in detail about everything important in advance, making it easy for us to settle in. The little house is perfectly equipped, clean, very cozy, and thoughtfully furnished. In just a few minutes, you can reach beautiful beaches as well as other interesting destinations in the area (Glücksburg, Flensburg, Langballigau...) and relax in the evening on the terrace.

Beautiful holiday home

We found a cozy and beautiful holiday home.

Departure was difficult...

Information and support from Mr. Engel, both in writing and by phone, was unique. We felt very comfortable and would come back at any time. The charging option for our electric vehicle directly at the house was also an advantage not to be underestimated.

Absolutely recommended

We were in this holiday home for the second time and can highly recommend it. Everything you need for a vacation is available. We felt very comfortable and were able to distance ourselves from everyday life and our worries. Beautiful surroundings, nature, peace and relaxation, and the Baltic Sea right at the door. Family vacation at the northernmost Baltic Sea beach in Germany

Hare and deer greeted us when we arrived for our family vacation in the garden of the Engel holiday home. We spent 14 wonderful days there and were thrilled with the furnishings and location of the little house. A big thank you to Mr. Engel for the great support before and during our stay, who took wonderful care of us. Wellness oasis

We, an older couple, spent 2 wonderful weeks here. From the first day on, we felt at home and comfortable in the cozy wooden cottage. The equipment is very extensive. Everything you need is thought of. Even various charging cables are available. You can tell that this accommodation is also occasionally used by the owners themselves. We really enjoyed the quiet location and would definitely book here again. The contact with the owners was smooth and extremely friendly.

Total Idyll

For the 4th time, we have spent 2 weeks vacationing in the cottage and can highly recommend it. The surroundings are great. The house itself has everything you need. The contact with the landlord is excellent, and he is available at any time. There are sights not far away in Glücksburg. Flensburg is also nearby and definitely worth a visit. The garden is well-maintained, and sitting on the sun terrace is wonderful. We will definitely come back.

Vacation in the North of Schleswig-Holstein

We spent a lovely and relaxing week in the holiday home. It is furnished with great care and the location is perfect. There are many activities to do: hiking, cycling along the fjord, taking a boat from Gücksburg to Denmark. The cottage has everything you could wish for, perfect for children too. Highly recommended!

Super nice and clean holiday home in a TOP location! From the location of the house, you can go on many trips, even various trips to the North Sea. We were there with 4 adults and felt very "at home". The landlords and their relatives are super friendly and always approachable if there is ever a problem. We would love to come back to this great house and the beautiful region.

Relaxing and quiet

We had two relaxing weeks at the holiday home Engel, where hare and deer say good night.

The house is located in the middle of the quiet holiday home settlement, which has access to the Baltic Sea. The holiday home and the outdoor facilities matched the description on the website. It is beautifully furnished, and everything was there to enjoy a relaxed and comfortable vacation. There was also a lockable storage space available for our bicycles. The shopping area Glücksburg can be easily reached by bike or public transport. The surroundings offer a lot to discover, even in changing weather. We were particularly taken with the beautiful village churches. The Holnis peninsula with its nature reserves also appealed to us as hikers and cyclists.

You can reach the public beach with its restaurants on foot in 15 minutes. The wide and flat sandy beach that gradually transitions into the fjord is particularly suitable for families.

We thank the Engel family for the warm welcome and good communication and are happy to return to the holiday home at the Flensborg Fjord.

Small, fine holiday home, almost like at home

The care provided by the Engel family was exemplary. Mr. Engel adjusted the price for us because the main and off-season overlapped. The holiday home is wonderfully furnished. Everything has been thought of. The Engel family greeted us with champagne and chocolate upon arrival. It made us feel very welcome. Mr. Engel also called us on the first and last day to personally greet and say goodbye and to answer any questions we might have. We could have contacted him in such a case.

Bockholm is very close to the NSG and one evening a deer even ran through the garden. We could also observe rabbits and hedgehogs in the garden. For us city dwellers, a great experience. The return of the deposit was quick and easy. We didn't have to worry about anything. We highly recommend the Engel family and their holiday home.
