Charming small town with castle, beach and nature in Schleswig-Holstein.
The natural beach is only a few metres away. Children can play in the sand there and there are also small crabs to catch. The well-kept Holnis spa beach is about 15 minutes' walk or 5 minutes by bike.
The shallow beach is guarded by the DLRG in summer.
You can spend your holiday in the beautiful nature reserve of the charming Flensburg Fjord. Enjoy the pure sea air, the healthy environment and the controlled, clean water of our stretch of coast. The mild, stimulating climate is recommended by doctors at any time of year.
The town of Glückburg itself and the marvellous fjord landscape also have a lot to offer. For example, a visit to the moated castle or, if the weather is not so nice, a visit to the Fördeland thermal baths is a worthwhile destination.
The rum town of Flensburg offers a beautiful pedestrian zone, several museums and the flair of an old trading town with a very Nordic character, in which some Danish influence can be felt. Of course, you shouldn't miss out on a boat trip to the Danish neighbours. You should also "experience" the Angeln landscape by bike if possible.

Wonderful holiday apartment
We were able to enjoy the holiday home for about 1.5 weeks. The house is in a nice condition, the location to the beach is very good, and in terms of amenities, we lacked nothing. The possibilities for activities are numerous and easily reachable on foot, by bike, or public transport/car.
We felt very comfortable and well-rested. The friendly and accommodating contact with the Engel family contributed greatly to this.
I would like to book directly for 2027.

Beautiful "Tiny House"
Small but fine! We were there for a week in June with our dog and felt very comfortable. Especially the furnishings are exceptionally thoughtful and loving. Nothing was really missing. The contact with the landlord was very nice. The garden with terrace offers enough privacy even without a fence, and you are at the natural beach in five minutes.

Nun haben wir sogar noch eine Heißluftfritteuse angeschafft.Nur, ein Tiny House ist unser Häuschen nicht. Es ist ein 48 m² kleines dänisches Holzferienhaus.

A beautiful week in Bockholm
A very beautiful holiday home in a quiet location and centrally located. Very nice landlords who care a lot about their guests feeling comfortable. We had another very nice week and are already looking forward to the next vacation with the Engel family!

Wir würden das Haus sofort wieder mieten.
Im Vorfeld informierte uns der Vermieter detailliert über alles Wichtige und machte uns damit das Einleben leicht.
Das Häuschen ist perfekt ausgestattet, sauber, sehr gemütlich und durchdacht eingerichtet.
In wenigen Minuten erreicht man wunderschöne Strände sowie andere interessante Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung (Glücksburg, Flensburg, Langballigau...) und entspannt am Abend auf der Terrasse.
Im schönen Garten konnten wir vom Alltag abschalten.
Die Umgebung insbesondere Flensburg und Glücksburg waren ein Besuch wert.
Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen.
Wunderschöne Umgebung, Natur, Ruhe und Erholung, und die Ostsee direkt vor der Tür. Es gibt viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten.

war einzigartig.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
Die Lademöglichkeit unseres Elektrofahrzeugs direkt am Haus war ebenfalls
ein nicht zu unterschätzender Vorteil.
Da verbrachten wir 14 wunderschöne Tage und waren von der Ausstattung und Lage das Häusschens begeistert.
Für die tolle Betreuung vor und während unseres Aufenthaltes nochmal ganz lieben Dank an Herrn Engel, der sich wunderbar gekümmert hat.
Fazit von Familie Schulze: uns hat es gefallen,
und wir kommen gern wieder einmal hier her!
Vom ersten Tag an fühlten wir uns heimisch und wohl in dem gemütlich eingerichteten Holzhäuschen.
Die Ausstattung ist sehr umfangreich. Es ist an alles gedacht, was man braucht. Sogar verschiedene Ladekabel sind vorhanden. Man merkt, dass diese Unterkunft auch von den Besitzern, ab und zu selbst genutzt wird.
Die ruhige Lage haben wir sehr genossen und würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier buchen.
Der Kontakt zu den Besitzern verlief problemlos und überaus freundlich.
Das Haus liegt mitten in der ruhigen Ferienhaussiedlung, die einen Zugang zur Ostsee hat.
Das Ferienhaus und die Außenanlagen entsprachen der Beschreibung auf der Webseite. Es ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und es war alles da, um einen entspannten und bequemen Urlaub zu genießen. Auch für unsere Fahrräder stand ein abschließbarer Abstellplatz zur Verfügung.
Den Einkaufsort Glücksburg kann man mit Rad oder öffentlichem Nahverkehr sehr gut erreichen. Die Umgebung bietet viel zum Entdecken, auch bei wechselhaftem Wetter. Vor allem die schönen Dorfkirchen hatten es uns angetan. Auch die Halbinsel Holnis mit ihren Naturschutzgebieten hat uns als Wanderer, bzw. Radfahrer sehr gefallen.
Zum öffentlichen Badestrand mit seinen Restaurants kommt man selbst zu Fuß in 15 Minuten . Der breite und flach in die Förde übergehende Sandstrand ist ausgesprochen für Familien geeignet.
Wir danken der Familie Engel für die nette Begrüßung und den guten Kontakt und kommen gerne wieder in das Ferienhaus an der Flensburger Förde.
Bockholm liegt sehr nah am NSG und an einem Abend lief sogar ein Reh durch den Garten. Auch Hase und Igel könnten wir im Garten beobachten. ?Für uns Großstädter ein tolles Erlebnis. Auch die Rücksendung der Kaution lief schnell und reibungslos. Wir mussten uns um nichts kümmern. Wir können Familie Engel und ihr Ferienhaus wärmstens empfehlen.
