We built our Norwegian wooden house in 2006, lovingly and fully equipped. We would like to emphasise the fantastic view of the Groensfjord, the Rosfjord, the archipelago islands and the Atlantic Ocean - and of course the peace and quiet. The house is situated with 9 other houses (Norwegian owners, no rentals) on a mountain (100 above sea level) with private access road through the forest. The two-storey house has 112 sqm living space plus 30 sqm terrace. The terrace faces all directions, so that the sun can be seen all day. Absolutely quiet location. Ideal for anglers, nature lovers, families and those seeking relaxation.

Our house is lovingly and completely furnished. The location is almost unique. Cruise ships can be watched from the terrace or the dining table. Motorboats can be reserved in advance, contact can be made through us. The house is located about 3 kilometers before the island of Korshamn, which can be accessed at any time via a free car bridge. There, an ideal starting point for fishing trips in the Atlantic or the fjords. Small supermarket available. The next town, Lyngdal, is about 15 km away. There, you can find everything required for daily life (discount stores, doctors, pharmacy, gas station, tourist information, cinema, restaurants, etc.). An attraction is the adventure pool in Lyngdal. Moreover, Lyngdal has its own beach at the fjord, which can be visited for free. A prime starting point for trips to the attractions of Norway (e.g., Lindesnes, Mandal, Prekestolen) or hikes to the numerous lakes. Good mushroom picking and fishing area. Swimming opportunity in the lake 5 minutes away by car.

Traumhafte Lage
Very beautiful holiday home with a fantastic location. The equipment was very good and everything was decorated with a lot of love. One downside was that upon our arrival, the barrier for access to the house was locked. We had to walk about 1 km in the rain on a road that alternated steeply uphill and downhill to the house, get the key for the barrier, and then walk the 1 km back. In the description, it should be pointed out that this very strenuous stretch is difficult to manage for older guests.

Dream vacation
Dear Mühe family,
we were able to spend a wonderful vacation in your house. The equipment left nothing to be desired. The view is also fantastic. We enjoyed it right after our arrival, that's how a perfect vacation starts. We had 2 weeks of great weather. The boat rental in Hausvik is recommended. The fjords from the lakeside are beautiful.
Information about sights or hiking routes are abundantly available in the house.
Even in personal contact, we felt very well advised.
We can recommend both the house and the landlords 100%.
It was certainly not our last vacation in Norway.

Beautiful holiday home
We had a wonderful 14-day stay in this cottage, the view from the terrace was fantastic. We felt comfortable all around. The house is very well equipped and lacks nothing.
The area is good for hiking and the sandy beach at Farsund is great. We were thrilled by the beautiful landscape. The combination of mountains and sea is perfect for our family. We also recommend the boat rental in Korshamn, it's wonderful to take a boat along the fjords...
Dear family Mühe, we will never forget this holiday and will surely come again. We love Norway!

Dreamlike summer holiday in a wonderful house
We can only agree with the other reviews: it is a great holiday home high up on the mountain with a fantastic view over the area! It was our first holiday in Norway and we were greeted with great weather which we enjoyed on the water, in the mountains and also on the beach

Vicinity of the holiday home: Fantastische Landschaft (Fjorde ohne Ende, wunderbare Aussicht vom Ferienhaus über die Fjorde und Richtung Meer) und viel viel Ruhe, Zeit zum Erholen und Entspannen.
free time activities: Bestens, alles vorhanden: Wir haben 1 Woche ein Boot in Korshamn gemietet (viele Grüße an Klaus!), ein Traum mit dem Boot zwischen den Inseln und durch die Fjorde zu fahren sowie zwischendurch zu angeln. Ansonsten Ausflüge: Lysefjord, Skrelia, Farsund (sehr guter Sandstrand und sogar Dünen), Lindesnes Fyr
shopping facilities: In Lyngdal ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Tipp: Zu dem Einkaufszentrum direkt an E8 fahren, das sind zwar ein paar km mehr, aber mehrere Märkte zur Auswahl.

Summer holiday
Dear family Mühe,
we spent wonderful holidays in your beautiful holiday home. Everything is there to make a holiday pleasant and comfortable. We felt really comfortable and made full use of the large terrace thanks to the wonderful weather. During the excursions into the surrounding area, we got great impressions of this country worth seeing.
The binoculars were always ready to watch the big and small ships from the dining area with this fantastic view. These were entertaining and impressive days in your house, which were over far too quickly.
