The holiday home is nestled in nature and invites you to relax and enjoy. The spacious terrace offers a magnificent view of the surrounding landscape and is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine or a cosy dinner outdoors.
Inside, a cosy living room awaits you with large window openings, a wood-burning stove that provides cosy warmth on cooler evenings. The modern kitchen is equipped with all amenities such as a dishwasher, so you can feel right at home. The bedroom is equipped with a comfortable bed to guarantee you a restful sleep. On the first floor is the spacious open-plan study, which offers further sleeping possibilities.
For your entertainment, there is a TV and free fibre optic Wi-Fi. It is therefore ideal for a workation stay.
The holiday home Le Valadas impresses with its quiet location and proximity to picturesque sights of Provence. Enjoy hikes or walks through nature or explore the diverse cultural sights in the area. The charming village of Lourmarin is just a few minutes away and offers numerous restaurants, pretty boutiques and a typical Provençal market.
The property is accessed via a dirt road and a concrete driveway, which is not suitable for sports cars.

Just 5km away is the picturesque village of Lourmarin, known for its Provençal weekly market, handicrafts, art galleries and restaurants.
Cultural sights such as Aix-en-Provence, Arles, Avignon, Orange, Saint-Rémy de Provence, Roussillon, Gordes, Sénanques as well as the Verdon Gorge or the Calanques between Marseille and Cassis are easily accessible as a day trip.

It was wonderful
We spent two wonderful weeks in Le Valadas. The house is great, we felt very welcome and enjoyed everything a lot. Our duck also did well - it couldn't be better. It is wonderfully quiet, sitting on the terrace and having a wine is simply fantastic, and the view through the trees is beautiful. On the two slightly cooler days, we lay lazily on the sofas and looked through the large windows into nature between the pages of our book.
We set off today with nostalgia and will fondly remember the beautiful time here.

Adventurous vacation
Upon arriving at the holiday home Le Valadas, we felt immediately at ease. Very stylishly furnished with everything for any holiday wishes. The description and the photos on the website show the holiday home very authentically.
The possibilities for relaxation, activities in the house with a multitude of books, CDs, games for young and old during less pleasant weather are exceptional. There is also an outdoor kitchen – barbecuing is possible as well.
The house is located in the middle of the forest with heavenly peace. In the evening on the terrace by candlelight, one can wonderfully end the day and gaze at the stars. The large trees provide a shady spot even in high summer temperatures. For cooler days, there is underfloor heating – a fireplace can also be lit. For supplies, there is a supermarket in the neighboring village, but visiting local fruit/vegetable vendors, olive oil producers, and bakers will certainly leave a more lasting impression. The holiday home is located on the southern edge of the Luberon and offers a good starting point for hiking or biking tours as well as visits to the picturesque mountain villages with their typical charm of southern France. Cities like Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, Arles, as well as the Mediterranean with the Camargue (beware of mosquitoes), and the holiday resort of Cassis – with the Calanque d'En-vau bay – are easily accessible.
Visiting the larger cities requires a bit more preparation regarding. Parking available, museum visit with ticket reservation. The tips from our landlord Josèphine always inspired us to new excursions, so we stayed a few days longer. It was a wonderful vacation, thank you again to our landlords Josèphine for everything.

Perfect architect's house
Beautiful architect-designed house in a quiet location, top amenities, very nice host, unspoiled nature with many songbirds. With a bit of luck, you might see a fox and deer. The town of Lauris offers a great organic bakery, a wonderful cheese shop, and butcheries. The house is an ideal starting point for activities in the Luberon and Provence.

Dream house in untouched nature
After we mastered the somewhat arduous ascent with our camper van, we were greeted by a dreamy ambiance. The holiday home is beautifully embedded in the landscape, and from various seating areas on the terraces around the house, one can enjoy the view, the tranquility, and the sun.
The rooms are very bright and cozy even in the rain. On cooler days, the heating ensures a pleasant stay, and the fireplace stove works great. The house is very well equipped, well-maintained, lovingly and personally decorated. Nothing is missing, and we felt comfortable right away.
In addition to the landscape of the Luberon and the towns with their Provençal markets, we particularly enjoyed the sculpture park of Chateau La Coste.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to our host, who provided us with many helpful tips and was always concerned that we felt at home in "Le Valadas."

A unique retreat - A paradise for nature lovers and culture enthusiasts
Our four days spent in this charming holiday home in southern France were literally a dream. Surrounded by the picturesque landscape of the Luberon, nestled in a secluded forest area, the house offered the perfect mix of peace, solitude, and activities that wonderfully rounded off our holiday experience.
The tranquil atmosphere of the surroundings was a true delight for the senses, a place where we had trouble not completely relaxing. It was the perfect setting for hikes where we could enjoy the beautiful landscape. Additionally, the possibility of canoeing on the nearby Durance was also an unforgettable experience.
The location of the holiday apartment also provided an excellent opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful towns in southern France. We were able to easily take day trips to Avignon, Orange, Roussillon, and Aix-en-Provence and explore the splendor of these cultural gems. Inside the apartment, we immediately felt at home. The loving and comfortable decor created a warm and cozy atmosphere. We could also enjoy the breathtaking natural beauty around us every morning on the spacious terrace while listening to the cicadas over a hearty breakfast.
Finally, we would like to highlight the warm hospitality we experienced during our stay. Every concern was addressed quickly and professionally, which made us feel like we could focus on what really matters: enjoying our vacation. We experienced true friendship here.
Overall, this vacation apartment is the perfect place for anyone who loves nature and wants to take the opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful cities in southern France. An authentic French experience that we will definitely repeat. Our stay undoubtedly gets 5 stars!

Es ist herrlich ruhig, auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und einen Wein zu trinken, ist einfach großes Kino, und der Ausblick zwischen den Bäumen hindurch ist wunderschön.
An den zwei etwas kühleren Tagen lagen wir faul auf den Sofas und schauten zwischen den Seiten unseres Buches durch die großen Fenster in die Natur.
Wir sind mit Wehmut heute aufgebrochen und werden gerne an die schöne Zeit hier denken.

Die Möglichkeiten der Erholung, Aktivitäten im Haus mit einer Unzahl an Büchern, CD’s, Spielen für Groß und Klein bei nicht so schönem Wetter ist außergewöhnlich. Es gibt zudem eine Außenküche – auch Barbecue ist möglich.
Das Haus liegt mitten im Wald mit einer himmlischen Ruhe. Abends auf der Terrasse im Kerzenschein kann man den Tag super ausklingen lassen und in die Sterne schauen. Durch die großen Bäume findet man auch bei hochsommerlichen Temperaturen ein schattiges Plätzchen. Für kühlere Tage gibt es eine Fußbodenheizung – auch ein Kamin kann angefeuert werden.
Für die Versorgung gibt es im Nachbarort einen Supermarkt, wobei der Besuch einheimischer Obst-/ Gemüsehändler, Olivenölhersteller, Wanderbäcker uns durchaus etwas mehr in Erinnerung bleiben werden.
Das Ferienhaus liegt am Südrand des Luberon und bietet eine gute Ausgangsposition für Wander- bzw. Radtouren als auch für Besuche in die sehenswerten Bergdörfer mit dem typischen Charme für Südfrankreich. Städte wie Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, Arles sowie das Mittelmeer mit der Camargue (Achtung Mücken), der Ferienort Cassis – mit der Bucht Calanque d'En-vau) sind gut zu erreichen.
Der Besuch in den größeren Städten bedarf etwas mehr Vorbereitung bzgl. Parkmöglichkeit, Museumsbesuch mit Kartenvorbestellung. Die Tipps unserer Vermieterin Josèphine haben uns stets zu neuen Ausflügen angeregt, so dass wir noch ein paar Tage länger geblieben sind.
Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub, nochmals vielen Dank an unsere Vermieter Josèphine für alles.
Die Räume sind sehr hell und auch bei Regen gemütlich. An kühlen Tagen sorgt die Heizung für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt und der Kaminofen funktioniert prima. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, gepflegt, liebevoll und persönlich eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts und wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt.
Neben der Landschaft des Luberon und den Städtchen mit ihren provenzalischen Märkten hat uns der Skulpturenpark des Chateau La Coste besonders gefallen.
Zum Schluss nochmal herzlichen Dank an unsere Gastgeberin, die uns viele hilfreiche Tipps gegeben hat und immer darauf bedacht war, dass wir uns in "Le Valadas " wohlfühlen.
Das Haus ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, für Unternehmungen im Luberon und der Provence.
Die ruhige Atmosphäre der Umgebung war ein wahrer Genuss für die Sinne, ein Ort, an dem wir Schwierigkeiten hatten, nicht völlig zu entspannen. Es war die perfekte Kulisse für Wanderungen, bei denen wir die schöne Landschaft genießen konnten. Hinzu kam die Möglichkeit, auf der nahegelegenen Durance Kanu zu fahren, was ebenfalls ein unvergessliches Erlebnis war.
Die Lage der Ferienwohnung bot auch eine hervorragende Gelegenheit, einige der schönsten Städte Südfrankreichs zu besichtigen. Wir konnten problemlos Tagesausflüge nach Avignon, Orange, Roussillon und Aix-en-Provence machen und die Pracht dieser kulturellen Schätze erkunden.
Im Inneren der Wohnung fühlten wir uns sofort wie zu Hause. Die liebevolle und komfortable Einrichtung sorgte für eine warme und gemütliche Atmosphäre. Wir konnten außerdem jeden Morgen bei einem stärkenden Frühstück die atemberaubende natürliche Schönheit um uns herum auf der ausgedehnten Terrasse genießen und den Zikaden lauschen.
Schließlich möchten wir die herzliche Gastfreundschaft hervorheben, die wir während unseres Aufenthaltes erfahren haben. Jedes Anliegen wurde schnell und professionell behandelt, was uns das Gefühl gab, uns auf das zu konzentrieren, was wirklich zählt: das Genießen unseres Urlaubs.
Wir haben hier echte Freundschaft erleben dürfen.
Insgesamt ist diese Ferienwohnung der perfekte Ort für jeden, der die Natur liebt und die Gelegenheit nutzen möchte, einige der schönsten Städte Südfrankreichs zu besichtigen. Ein authentisches französisches Erlebnis, das wir definitiv wiederholen werden.

Das individuell gestaltete und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtete Ferienhaus einschließlich des Grundstückes hat uns sehr begeistert, es fehlte an nichts!
Der Bouleplatz und das französische Froschspiel sorgten zusätzlich für Spiel und Spaß.
Die sehr sympathische Gastgeberin gab uns hilfreiche Tipps für Ausflüge in die Dörfer, Märkte und Sehenswürdigkeiten im Luberon.
Unseren 14-tägigen Urlaub in Le Valadas haben wir sehr genossen und er wird uns immer in guter Erinnerung bleiben.
Rund um das Haus laden verschiedene Terrassen und Freisitze zum Genießen des riesigen, ruhigen Grundstücks und der schönen Aussicht ein. Wir haben hier nichts vermisst.
Die Vermieterin gibt hilfreiche Tipps für Ausflüge, schöne Wanderungen im Luberon und nette Märkte in den benachbarten Ortschaften. In Lauris selbst sind gibt es neben Idylle, schöner Aussicht und netten kleinen Bars/Cafés schöne Bäckereien und einen sehr empfehlenswerten Käseladen.
Für die Anfahrt empfiehlt es sich auf die gute Routenempfehlung der Vermieterin zu vertrauen, da Google den Weg leider nicht belastbar findet.
