Spread over two levels, there is a large bedroom with a 1.80m wide double bed as well as another bedroom with a 1.40m wide double bed and a bunk bed with two single beds, an open bright kitchen-living room, a spacious living room, a shower bathroom, a sauna, and a washing machine with a drying rack. On both the ground floor and the basement, high-quality ventilation systems ensure a pleasant living climate. The newly designed garden has a completely wind-protected sun terrace with garden furniture. In front of the house there is a spacious lockable garden shed with storage space for bicycles. The house has a large roof terrace with a gas grill and an unobstructed view over the Flensburg Fjord all the way to Denmark. The house has two parking spaces, one directly on the property and a second car space on the opposite side. A few steps away there is a natural beach section, and the spa beach in Holnis can also be quickly reached by bicycle. There are a variety of offers here for water sports enthusiasts and horse lovers. A modern golf course and the adjacent nature reserve can be reached on foot. Various restaurants and shopping opportunities in Glücksburg and the surrounding area are accessible by bicycle. Thus, nothing stands in the way of a relaxing holiday in a feel-good oasis close to the Baltic Sea. Pure relaxation: the natural beach at Bockholm is right at your feet. A little away from the Holnis/Drei spa beach, you can enjoy quiet hours even in the high season. But the spa beach in Holnis can also be reached quickly by bike. Here there are wider, well-maintained stretches of beach that invite you to swim.
The Holnis peninsula is a real all-round holiday destination. In addition to beautiful sandy beaches, you will also find unspoilt nature in a 400-hectare nature reserve protected by NABU Schleswig-Holstein. The long dog beach also makes Holnis perfect for dog holidaymakers. So if you want to combine exciting explorations with real relaxation, the Holnis peninsula is just right for you!
The area offers well-protected breeding grounds and habitats for many animal and plant species. The landscape is characterised by salt marshes where shelducks, oystercatchers, lapwings, ringed plovers and terns nest. There are also up to 10 km of hiking trails through the entire area. Here you can also reach the cliffs of Holnis Kliff and Holnis Spitze, from where you have a fantastic view of the fjord and the Baltic Sea.
But the town of Glücksburg is also worth exploring. A visit to the moated castle will enchant young and old. The Fördeland Therme invites you to relax if the weather doesn't play along. But the city's great restaurants also promise a treat or two for the palate.
The rum town of Flensburg is also just a few minutes away. Cute little streets with old cobblestones, hidden backyards, captain's houses and a historic harbour fascinate every visitor. But even if you just sit down at the harbour tip and enjoy a fish sandwich in the salty sea air, you will learn to love Flensburg!

We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance in case you are unable to travel.

The furniture on the rooftop terrace will be stored in the garden shed from the end of October until Easter. Of course, it may still be used during this time.
Since our house is very close to nature, there may occasionally be short-term soiling in the outdoor areas caused by wild animals. The outdoor areas (garden and rooftop terrace) are, of course, cleaned regularly.

Good morning! We are Karlotta, Nina and Dennis from Hamburg. With the purchase of the holiday home, we have fulfilled an absolute lifelong dream. Dennis grew up in Flensburg and has been a passionate sea trout angler since childhood. The beach areas around Bockholm/Holnis are among the best fishing spots in the region. Dennis is happy to chat out of the sewing box when guests want to take a few fish out for dinner. Nina is actually from Göttingen, but in the course of her life she has worked her way further and further north. Nina has also been able to conjure up a fish or two from the water. But she also loves long walks along the cliffs or in the forests of Glücksburg. Of course, never without our Labrador "Lillebror". And Karlotta loves to chill out on the roof terrace and enjoy the sound of the sea. But you can also meet her on the water, when she is on her way to the beach café with her stand-up paddle. In any case, we are all completely crazy about the coast and extremely happy when we can share this enthusiasm with our guests.
