Description
The house, built in 2019, is located in Karlsminde near Eckernförde. It has 2 bedrooms and is perfect for couples and families. The beach is approx. 600 m away, shopping facilities including a bakery approx. 500 m away (April - October). The bright living area with open-plan kitchenette, 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 shower room with rain shower and a small storage room are located on the ground floor. Floor-to-ceiling windows and a large window element to the terrace give the living room plenty of light, curtains offer privacy and sun protection on request. A cosy sofa and 2 comfortable armchairs, a TV and a music system round off the ambience. The kitchenette and the adjoining dining area are comfortably equipped and invite you to cook and socialise together. On the upper floor there is 1 bathroom incl. washing machine, a room for free use with desk, as well as 1 spacious bedroom with double bed, lounge chair and TV. All bedrooms have large wardrobes and are equipped with blinds and curtains. A travel cot and high chair are available free of charge for our younger guests. Outside, a sunny south-west-facing terrace invites you to relax, while the glass roof with awning allows you to stay outside even in less favourable weather. Garden furniture including sun loungers and a barbecue are of course included. A lockable shed for bicycles and parking spaces for 2 cars are available for guests.

Waabs - Karlsminde: Idyllic holiday home settlement near Eckernförde, ideal for relaxing and enjoying yourself.
Karlsminde is located at the southern tip of the municipality of Waabs, directly on the Bay of Eckernförde. Kappeln is about 28 km north of us, Eckernförde is only about 8 km to the south. The house is located in a small, quiet holiday home development just 600 m from the Baltic Sea beach. A few minutes' walk from the house you will find a snack bar, a restaurant and a small grocery shop with freshly baked goods (open from April to October).

Successful break
The holiday home has everything one needs for a quiet getaway by the sea. It is very well-kept and quiet, and only a short walk from the coast.
We spent 10 days there and felt very comfortable.
The beds are also very comfortable.
From booking - support - to departure, everything went wonderfully. The manager is very helpful and friendly.

Repeat offender
We were already in the year 2024 together with our children in this holiday home in Karlsminde. We were so excited that we wanted to spend our summer vacation there again this year. Any "criticism" that we noted last year was implemented. We suggested that the holiday home should have a microwave. This was available this year. Furthermore, the covered terrace now also has a windbreak. We can recommend this house without reservation, as it is not only fully equipped but also very clean. Additionally, the manager is very nice and always approachable. We will spend our summer vacation 2026 again in the holiday home Ankerplatz and are already looking forward to it.
