Description
We welcome you to the Frankenwald Nature Park, the green crown of Bavaria, with a welcome greeting. On Sundays and public holidays, we serve homemade cake for our guests, free of charge of course.
In the living room you will find brochures on various excursion destinations as well as hiking suggestions.
For rainy days we have a large selection of books ready for you, surely there is something for your taste. A game collection is also available. You are welcome to use our rotary dryer in the garden. A small barbecue is also available.
We have been living in our newly built house since 1989. in 1999 we converted our ground floor into a holiday flat.
The flat
The lovely furnishings and the warmth of our holiday flat will make you forget that you are not really at home.
Comfortable and well-equipped holiday flat approx. 52 sqm for 2 persons (plus) 1 child 6,50 Euro surcharge
1 dog on request per night 2 Euro.
Non-smoking accommodation. (You can smoke on the terrace)
Bed linen, towels and shower towels are available for you to borrow (free of charge, of course). A basic supply of washing-up liquid and toilet paper is available, but you will have to provide for your own supplies.
We have lovingly renovated our ground floor flat so that we can use it as our own flat at a later date. Until then, we rent it out to our dear holiday guests.
Our utility room, which already had a shower, has been lovingly converted (as it is the only room apart from the toilet with a water connection) into a fully equipped, spacious kitchen with integrated shower.
The bedroom was created from the hoppy room.
And the party room has become a spacious living room with a cosy dining area and TV, from where you can also access the terrace.
As is usual in every house, the heating system is located on the ground floor, which is fired by a combination of wood and oil. After consultation with our guests, we are always allowed to heat through the hallway, which is the only reason why we can offer the low price of 31 euros (otherwise we would have had to charge 38 euros for a long time).
Our guests always say that this is the icing on the cake of the flat: you come as a stranger and leave as a friend. Especially in the city, you would miss such cordiality - for us, it's just normal everyday life.
We have been renting successfully since 1999, from March to mid-November we are always well booked. Many house guests are our own, which is why we have never regretted our decision to rent.
The price of 31 Euro for up to 2 persons includes final cleaning and additional costs.
Bed linen and towels are provided.

For bookings of less than 3 nights, we charge a surcharge of 5 euros per person and night. Our already very tightly calculated prices do not allow for any further discounts.
Your dog is welcome by arrangement. We charge 2 Euro extra per night.
(We do not accept dogs that belong to the "fighting dog" category)
However, we assume that he will not jump around on the beds and furniture, also the guests after you want to find a clean and attractive flat. Also, the garden is not a dog's litter box, slips are to be removed, and we also dig our own holes.
We see it as a matter of course that the dog is led to his big and small business in the nearby forest and that at any time of the day and night. We also don't want our house, barn, garden fence and equipment to be pissed on. We are not asking for anything impossible but something quite natural.
I am very concerned that the rules are followed. I want my guests to be able to enjoy their wine or beer and not have the smell of dog pee in their noses all the time, that is simply impossible.
I also take it for granted that your dog is tolerant, because it is important that we are allowed to move freely on our property
Late arrival or early departure will be charged at 90 %. We have reserved for you although we could rent more often and also expect you to keep your booking.

Location and surroundings of object
Our house is located in a small district, about 5 km from Wallenfels, known for the raft trip on the Wilden Rodach .
We live quietly on the edge of the forest away from the hustle and bustle and street noise. This atmosphere creates the balance that is essential for your relaxation.
Why not take a hike on one of the 300 km of well-maintained and marked hiking trails, through extensive mixed forests and the charming low mountain range landscape, and enjoy the wonderful panorama offered by the wonderful view.
On our covered terrace you can enjoy the sun from early to late, or the starry sky, or just look at the clouds.
The property is fenced with hedges all around. You can enjoy a wonderful view here with us and listen to the many bird songs.
