Discover the charming holiday home Sandrosen, idyllically located in Mölby on the island of Römö. Surrounded by a breathtaking natural setting, this cosy holiday home offers 80 square metres of space for up to 6 people. Three bedrooms, a bathroom, a sauna and a separate toilet ensure a comfortable stay for the whole family.
Inside the house, a warm and inviting atmosphere awaits you, which is further emphasised by the fireplace in the living room. Pleasant temperatures are ensured by the air conditioning, which provides welcome cooling on hot days. In the modern and well-equipped kitchen you will find all the amenities you need for a successful holiday, including a dishwasher, microwave, kettle and coffee maker. There is a washing machine and dryer in the WC.
Other features of the Sandrosen holiday home include two televisions (one upstairs in the bedroom) which make for cosy TV evenings, as well as the possibility of a long-term rental. Please note that the house is a non-smoking accommodation.

Child-friendly thatched holiday home on large natural plot from private owner
In our holiday home Sandrosen on the island Römö - Vesterhede, only a stone's throw away from Sylt, you will find the best conditions for a relaxing holiday. The island is connected to the mainland by a car causeway (free of charge), about 1 hour drive from the German/Danish border. It is a very well-kept thatched stone house in the most beautiful area of the North Sea island Römö. In summer, the wide sandy beach on the west coast offers the best bathing opportunities, especially for children, and wind and kite surfers also have the best conditions here. The rest of the year can be spent comfortably in front of the stove or in the sauna in the evenings and enjoying the diverse nature of the island during the day. The holiday home itself is also inviting with its 2500 square metre nature plot, heath landscape overgrown with pines, where you can sometimes encounter a hare or deer.
Römö Nature: Beautiful nature - The island of Römö can offer you a beautiful nature, which is famous beyond the borders of Denmark. The island is the second largest of the Dutch, German and Danish Wadden Sea islands. The northern part of the island is a bird reserve for the many wading birds. Seals also stay on Rømø, and within the last few years several sperm whales have beached themselves on the island. On the east side you can experience the amazing natural phenomenon of ebb and flow in the Wadden Sea, where you can also see a rich animal life with many different species of birds. The Wadden Sea is Europe's largest larder for birds. A variety of animals can be seen here all year round.
Römö challenges: Child-friendly beach: The beach is great for even the smallest children, with shallow water where they can splash around wonderfully. The most beautiful and widest beach in Northern Europe. On the west side of Römö is one of Europe's best bathing beaches, where you can drive directly to the water. Sand castles: Only the imagination sets limits when figures are built from the beautiful white sand on the beach. Kite flying: The beach is an Eldorado for kite flyers. They come by the thousands. Health for soul and body: Römö is an island where guests come back year after year to find and rediscover their good health for soul and body in our pure and iodine-rich air. Horse riding: The beach on Römö is also a popular place for tours on horseback. You can take your own horse with you or use one of the many rental horses on Römö to go on a tour on marked riding paths.
How to find amber: The beach of Römö is not only one of the best and most attractive beaches in Europe for bathers and sun worshippers, but also an Eldorado for treasure hunters, because if you are on the beach of Rømø or on the Wadden Sea at the right time - and are also lucky - you can find amber here - the gold of the sea. 'First the man takes the amber, then the amber takes the man' Countless are the stones that have been picked up by visitors to Römö, bitten on and thrown away again. There is white and yellow amber, black and red, orange and brown amber. There is amber in which insects and plant parts are caught, and amber that is completely transparent. And there is a lot of it. That's why it's hard to understand why you can walk on the beach for years without finding a single piece - it requires a trained eye. The search for amber can become a lifelong passion.

Great holiday home in a quiet location
The holiday home Sandrosen is a very well-equipped house with everything necessary. We really enjoyed the location near shopping, water, and plenty of nature. Since we do not have a pet, we were looking for a house where this is excluded. The sauna and the outdoor area invite you to linger. The month of February seemed ideal to us, as there are only a few tourists on Rømø. We absolutely recommend the house. Unfortunately, only 5 stars are possible; otherwise, we would have liked to give more.

Hygge
We spent 7 days in the holiday home Sandrosen and were thrilled with the furnishings and cleanliness. There was really nothing missing. Outside, Rømø showed itself in its wintery aspect. The more we appreciated the extremely cozy feel-good house with the crackling stove that kept the house nice and warm. One could easily stay here much longer! We wholeheartedly recommend the house!

Wonderful thatched roof house in nature
A heartfelt thanks to the Thimsen family for the wonderful holiday home. In the middle of nature with a large garden and everything you need - nothing is missing! This time a deer greeted us upon arrival, last time it was a pheasant. From the house, you can walk directly into the nearby forest. The large beaches, as well as the sunsets, are impressive. The furnishings are well-maintained and everything is very clean! Now in the colder season, we really enjoyed the stove in the large living room. In the beds, one can sleep well and all rooms have insect protection.
The terrace is also really nice; one can sit in the sun there and hear the birds and the wind rustling through the trees. Fantastic.
A bakery and supermarket are within walking distance.
Communication with Mr. Thimsen is very friendly; he responds quickly to questions. A tip on the side: one should familiarize themselves in advance with the Danish traffic and parking rules: a non-set parking disc can quickly cost a lot of money.
