family vacation with dog
We were with my daughter and son-in-law, as well as the family dog Fiby, in the holiday home Botanico in beautiful Eggmond. My husband and I had been to Eggmond several times, this time in a holiday home. The house has flair, the proximity to the city center as well as to the sea is very good. Also, the communication through my daughter with the landlord was positive. In the house, there is a steep staircase that leads to the first floor where the bedrooms are, as well as the shower. The bedroom was okay. the shower had a defective cover as well as the holder for the shower. there was a handrail at the stairs but for seniors like us it is not safe due to the risk of falling. we knew from the description that there was a staircase, but in reality it is not intended for seniors. the toilet is located on the ground floor, so going down the stairs at night with lighting is too much. the apartment is good except for the flowers inside and outside, unfortunately everything is not presentable. My husband watered the flowers and also removed the wilted ones. The outdoor area has also become overgrown but is separated so that our family dog could not get out. The garden furniture is unfortunately neglected and dirty. Best regards.
