Welcome to Holiday Home Bongerd 89!
This cozily furnished house is located about a 10-minute walk from the dunes.
It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the center of Renesse.

The house is on a fully fenced property and has its own parking space.

On two floors you will find everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
On the ground floor is the comfortable living room with sofa bed (space for 2 people) and TV. Directly adjacent is the well-equipped kitchen with dining area.
In the kitchen there is space for cooking and enjoying.
The dishwasher takes care of the washing up.

The conservatory also offers a good place to eat with its comfortable seating, or simply to relax with a glass of wine, board games, or some TV. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with a cozy new bed, which can be pulled out if needed and then becomes a double bed measuring 160x200.
The bathroom on the ground floor is equipped with a toilet and shower.

If someone is not good on their feet, they do not have to go up the stairs to the upper floor.

On the upper floor you will find two more bedrooms.
The master bedroom has direct access to the balcony.
The double bed measures 180x200. The single bed in the same room measures 90x200.

The second bedroom also has a box spring bed and measures 160x200.

The bathroom on the upper floor invites you to relax with a bathtub.

Furthermore, the house is kept warm with central heating.
Wi-Fi is of course also available.

Our four-legged guests will enjoy the cozy basket as well as bowls.
For our little guests, a travel cot and a high chair are available. All bedrooms on the upper floor can be darkened with shutters.

Location and surroundings of object

Charming holiday destination right in Renesse. Within 10 minutes you can be in the dunes.
A supermarket is a 5-minute walk away and also has fresh rolls and croissants ready for a good breakfast.
It is open during the season (April-October).
You will find more supermarkets in the town center (Jumbo), as well as in the neighboring town (Aldi, Albert Heijn).

In the summer, a shuttle takes you directly to the beach, so you don't have to carry the beach gear. A bicycle rental is right around the corner (seasonal).
Three additional rentals, also for special bikes such as cargo bikes, can be found in the town center of Renesse.
These are open all year round.

Renesse itself has shops for shopping, ice cream parlors, cafes, drugstores, and restaurants.
There is also a doctor in the town.

The veterinarian is 10 minutes away by car.

Schouwen-Duiveland is a beautiful peninsula in the coastal region of Zeeland in the Netherlands. Long sandy beaches and picturesque landscapes invite leisure activities such as surfing, cycling, hiking, climbing, as well as relaxing on the beach.
Even with changeable weather, there are plenty of indoor activities, museums, restaurants, and much more.

We operate locally as a family business for guests and owners. We are happy to help you with tips for excursions or even accompany you to the doctor if there are language barriers.

A house with character, charm, and warm hospitality.

We felt extremely comfortable in the holiday home! The furnishings are lovingly put together and create a warm, inviting atmosphere. One notices that a lot has been renovated and modernized. Even in bad weather, the house offers a wonderful retreat for relaxing and letting the soul unwind.

The location of the house is also ideal: quiet, restful, the beach is easily accessible, and a grocery store and a bike rental are just around the corner. A big praise to Ms. Heider for the friendly, helpful, and customer-oriented support – we felt very well taken care of.
The key handover via key safe was completely uncomplicated, and Ms. Heider was always available for questions.
We will gladly come back!

Beautiful accommodation with room for improvements

Positives:
- Simple, adequate accommodation: The holiday home offers suitable accommodation for 3 people and 2 small dogs.
- Fenced garden: The completely fenced garden allows the dogs to run safely.
- Minimum fence height: The fence height of about 1 m is sufficient for small dogs.

Suggestions for improvement:
1. Stove plates: 2 stove plates were defective.
2. Refrigerator: Light in the refrigerator was defective.
3. Samba stairs: ATTENTION!!! The steep stairs pose a significant danger for dogs. Clear communication in the description would be helpful.
4. Whirlpool tub: Unfortunately, the whirlpool function was turned off, which was disappointing, as this was a key reason for the booking. Clear information about the usage options and the condition of the whirlpool would be advisable to avoid misunderstandings.
5. Communication with the rental: Communication with the Heider company was hesitant. Faster feedback on inquiries and a prompt booking confirmation could significantly improve the customer experience.
6. Arrival time: The need to communicate an arrival time led to additional calls during the drive. A more flexible solution might be through a key safe, which would reduce stress and give guests more freedom.
7. Key handover departure: A key safe could simplify the handover and avoid fixed appointments.
8. Refund of the deposit: The refund of the deposit took a long time. It would be helpful if the Heider company could ensure at the beginning that the bank details are provided by the customer before departure, to avoid delays and unnecessary inquiries and frustration.
Conclusion
The holiday home provides a good basis for a stay, but there are several areas for improvement. Optimized communication and organization would increase guest satisfaction. Thank you very much for the opportunity to stay in your holiday home!

Guten Tag, vielen Dank für ihr Feedback!
So können wir Probleme erkennen und für die Zukunft verbessern.

Gerne möchte ich auf ein paar Punkte eingehen.
1. Der Herd ist leider erst zwei Tage vor ihrer Anreise kaputt gegangen. Dieser inkl. Backofen wurde nach ihrem Aufenthalt ausgetauscht gegen neuen Geräte.
Natürlich ist das sehr unglücklich, wenn im Urlaub der Herd nur eingeschränkt genutzt werden kann, wir sind aber stets bemüht schnell Lösungen zu finden.
3. Die Treppe ist auf unseren Fotos abgebildet, damit jeder Hundebesitzer und ggf. auch jemand der schlecht zu Fuß ist, vor Anreise einen Einblick hat. Es gibt auch ein Schlafzimmer und Schlafsofa im Erdgeschoss, damit ggf. nicht jeder nach oben muss. Wir werden aber zukünftig auch gerne nochmal darauf hinweisen.
4. In unserem Inserat steht nichts von einer Whirlpool Badewanne, hier steht lediglich Badewanne. Es tut mir natürlich leid, wenn das Buchungskriterium war und sie dann enttäuscht wurden.
5. Ich habe nachgesehen, ihre Anfrage wurde direkt am Folgetag beantwortet. Wir sind ein Familienunternehmen und haben ab 17 Uhr Feierabend. Wobei wir auch oft noch Abends reagieren.
6. 7. und 8. Vielen Dank für die Rückmeldung. Bisher wurde unsere persönliche Begrüßung und Verabschiedung von den Gästen immer als großer Mehrwert gesehen, da wir direkt eine kleine Einweisung ins Haus geben und auch ggf. vorhanden Fragen direkt beantworten können. Sei es auch nur ein Tipp für ein gutes Restaurant ;-)
Wir sind sehr flexibel, sie können auch spät Abends anreisen, dann arbeiten wir auch mit einer Schlüsselbox. Wir bitten ca. 45 Minuten vor Ankunft um einen Anruf oder Whatsapp/SMS damit wir pünktlich zur Schlüsselübergabe vor Ort sind und unnötige Wartezeiten vermieden werden können. Wir begrüßen am Tag meist mehrere Gäste und müssen uns daher gut organisieren.
Die persönliche Verabschiedung sorgt dafür, dass wir Verbesserungsvorschläge direkt aufgezeigt bekommen können und der einwandfreie Zustand des Objekt bestätigt wird für die Kautionserstattung. Wenn zu besonderen Uhrzeiten eine Abreise gewünscht ist, arbeiten wir auch hier mit einer Schlüsselbox.
Die Kaution erstatten wir innerhalb von 10 Werktagen und bitten in unserer Buchungsbestätigung um Mitteilung der Bankverbindung. Da das hier ausblieb, dauerte es tatsächlich länger als die angegebenen 10 Werktage, das tut uns sehr leid.

An dieser Stelle nochmals vielen Dank und wir hoffen Sie dennoch erneut als Gäste begrüßen zu dürfen.

Feel-good vacation

We spent a week with our dog in this beautiful house in Renesse with a fenced garden. Ms. Heider, the manager, welcomed us warmly. We hardly used the living room, as we liked the winter garden with its great relaxation chair so much. The beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. Conveniently, a bike rental and supermarket (opening on April 1) are just around the corner. We enjoyed the peace and the location with direct parking. We had the beach almost to ourselves. A completely successful vacation that allowed us to relax wonderfully ☺️ We will gladly come back.

Hiking and enjoying

Warm welcome by the Heider family with tips about the area, restaurants… We were three here and had a wonderful holiday week in a very cozy holiday home. Enjoying the sunrise on the balcony, breakfast in the sunny winter garden, hiking in the nearby nature reserve, and beach walks, pampering ourselves in nice beach pavilions, cafés, and restaurants. We would love to come back ☺️
