Feel like you're in a fairytale at the beautiful thatched-roof house "Dornröschen I" on Gelting Bay!
The "Dornröschen I" apartment, with approximately 100 square meters spread over two levels, offers plenty of space for a relaxing vacation.
In the cozy living room with a Danish wood-burning stove, comfortable sofa, armchairs, and books, you can unwind with your loved ones.
The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped and has an adjoining dining area.
The house has two bathrooms with walk-in showers.
The three bedrooms are located on the first floor.
One bedroom features a comfortable double bed, and the other two bedrooms each have two comfortable single beds that can be separated if needed.
Your four-legged friend is also welcome here.
Behind the house, there's an outdoor area with seating where you can enjoy the expansive landscape of meadows and fields.
There's also a small wooden terrace in front of the house, perfect for enjoying breakfast in the sunshine.
Free parking is available.

Location and surroundings of object

Steinbergkirche is the ideal starting point for a varied holiday. Numerous cycling and hiking trails lead you through the rolling landscape of Angeln. The Baltic Sea with its many beaches is very close by. Enjoy the fine sandy beach or rent a beach chair and relax. Water sports enthusiasts will find excellent conditions for windsurfing, kitesurfing, and stand-up paddleboarding. In the village, you'll find everything you need for daily life: a gas station, various shops, two bakeries, several hair salons, and a general practitioner and veterinarian. Alternatively, a trip to the air and Kneipp spa town of Gelting is worthwhile. Pure relaxation awaits you there. The Geltinger Birk nature reserve, covering 773 hectares, impresses with its reed beds, salt marshes, dunes, and forests. With a bit of luck, you might even spot the wild Konik horses. In the evening, a stroll to the harbor of Wackerballig is highly recommended, where you can enjoy a breathtaking sunset. Further shopping and excursion opportunities can be found in Kappeln or Flensburg. The charming port cities invite you to stroll, linger and enjoy.

Very beautiful and cozy apartment, equipped with everything you need. Any inquiries receive a response very quickly, which made both the stay and the booking very relaxed. The small village offers a great opportunity to relax away from the hustle and bustle.

A beautiful and very quiet accommodation. It is clean and the kitchen is well equipped. We were able to spend restful days and, due to the good location, make interesting excursions on foot and by car. In just a few minutes' walk, we reached the beach and could walk for kilometers in both directions. In front of the house was a wide field, and in the mornings, deer came very close. Since there is no fence, dogs must be leashed before leaving the house! Horses with riders and walkers also come very close to the house from the back. However, this is by no means disturbing. At night, there is little lighting, and it is very quiet, which ensures a good sleep. The region and accommodation are highly recommended.
