In the well-known leisure and yacht harbour ‘Marina Wendtorf’, the semi-detached house in Scandinavian style offers a unique opportunity to spend a Baltic Sea holiday on the Kiel Fjord. For up to 6 people, the holiday home on two floors and 68 m² offers two bedrooms, a balcony, a furnished terrace and a dry sauna for 2 people.

Additional costs for WLAN, gas, water and electricity consumption and car parking are included!

There are two bedrooms on the ground floor. One of them has two single beds pushed together (together 180x200cm) and the other has two single beds (90x200cm each), one of the bedrooms has a TV and both have blackout windows. Also located on the ground floor: the bathroom with pleasant underfloor heating, walk-in shower, WC, washbasin and dry sauna.

On the first floor, you will find an open-plan, light-flooded living and dining area with a sofa bed for 2 children and an adjoining fully equipped kitchen. The cosy living area offers plenty of seating, a 50-inch Smart TV, a bioethanol fireplace and access to the balcony. The air conditioning promises a pleasant indoor climate at all times. The outdoor area has seating, a parasol, sun loungers and a charcoal barbecue. There is also a free car parking space and a lockable bicycle shed at the house. From the balcony you can enjoy the view towards the sea. Whether it's balmy summer evenings, stormy autumn afternoons or chilly winter days: this semi-detached house impresses with its facilities and natural surroundings at any time of year.

WLAN via fibre optic connection with a download speed of 300 Mbit/s is available throughout the house.

The promenade right by the harbour invites you to linger with its wide range of attractions.
The restaurant ‘Ahoi – Steffen Henssler’ will take care of your physical well-being, while the adjacent ice cream parlour offers delicious refreshments.
You will also find various small shops along the promenade, as well as numerous playgrounds for our younger guests.
A useful addition to your stay is the self-service mini laundrette, where you can wash and dry your laundry yourself daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Location and surroundings of object

The Marina Wendtorf holiday resort is located directly at the entrance to the Kiel Fjord in the beautiful Probstei region. Beaches for families, dog owners and individualists are within easy walking distance.
Right on your doorstep and in the surrounding area, you will find opportunities for relaxing hikes and bike rides.
The bright beach with its blue-green, gently sloping water invites children to play, dig and splash around. Swimmers can jump straight into the refreshing water from the pier.
During the high season, the beach has a lifeguard service, beach club, water sports school and public toilets, as well as a brand new playground.
The Probstei offers many activities for young and old, those seeking peace and quiet and those seeking action.

In the marina, protected behind the dyke, our holiday homes are located on a quiet street where children can still play. The balcony of our houses offers a wonderful view of the marina. In summer, white sailboats moor here, and in winter, migratory birds rest on the lagoon. In every season, you can watch the big ships sailing in and out of the Kiel Fjord. In summer, the cruise ships awaken a longing for distant shores.

The house is large enough for 3-4 people. The furnishings are more than sufficient. Games are not available, and those expecting a personally brought character as well as a sauna that starts spontaneously or shower water cooler than hot may be disappointed or need patience. The waste disposal area as well as the parking lot are very conveniently located, and a bakery is within easy reach. The marina offers food and drinks without much selection, but it is charming and still affordable. Those who need more options have to get in the car and drive to Laboe or Schönberg. Our personal break was very nice, and the many seagulls were a change.

A very nice, clean holiday home located directly at the harbor. The beach is just a few minutes away. The view of the sea is slightly obstructed by the row of houses in front but still present. The amenities are really very good for 4 people. Large balcony upstairs and a large terrace downstairs. The bathroom is a bit small for 4 people but perfectly fine. We would definitely book it again.

The beaches in the area are not overcrowded and very clean / to eat well and affordably, you have to drive a bit since the two dining options in the harbor are way too overpriced / in Laboe, shopping at Edeka, Aldi, and DM is even possible on Sundays.
