Spontaneous short holiday
A callback from Mrs. Mohwinkel made it possible for me and my two dogs to stay in this cosy holiday home at short notice and to see my girlfriend in Kiel over the weekend. Thank you for that! I enjoyed these days very much, because the atmosphere in the house, with the pleasant warmth of the stove and the beautiful furniture, as well as being able to watch the starry sky from the terrace, gave me a real holiday feeling. The seemingly endless beach and the long walks rounded everything off.
The house has everything you need, we wanted for nothing and even my dogs were quite chilled out despite the hopping rabbits in the gardens. Haus Hildebrandt and the charming surroundings are a place where you can come to rest and feel good in many ways! Not least because of the friendly and obliging way of Mrs. Mohwinkel. Everything was just right and suitable for us - many thanks for this to the Hildebrandt family and their dedicated manager.

Holiday with dogs
In the house, we felt comfortable on the lower floor after a friendly welcome. If we had seen the space-saving staircase, we probably wouldn't have moved in because it is not suitable for everyone. The garden is also not as fenced in as we were assured during the telephone consultation, which meant that our dogs (Beagles) had to be searched for several times as many rabbits had triggered their hunting instinct and were also on the property. In our view, the fence needs to be improved here.

Holiday with a dog
Everything was just right for Mika and me. We felt very comfortable. Small, but cozy and clean. The stove made everything nice and warm, and the peace and quiet was good. Above all, we liked the nice support. We would love to come back. Thank you very much.

This accommodation can be compared to a camping holiday, but the comfort here would probably be better. The standout feature is the really nice and great care provided by the manager, but unfortunately, that's all the positive aspects. The rooms/furniture are old and mismatched, the apartment smells musty and damp, the pillows and duvets are of absolutely poor quality, the "electric heaters" are completely outdated and not TÜV-certified, they smell and make loud noises. The ancient 2 hotplates are makeshift, and the kitchen cabinets and fridge stink. The "oven" is the only source of heat and causes a very unpleasant dry air. Garden furniture/cushions are completely yellow, dirty, and covered in mold. Unfortunately, nothing positive can be said about the bathroom either. There is not a hint of "normal" comfort in this house except for a small television! If you are into a minimalist vacation without comfort, this is the right place. We had to leave early on the 4th day and were glad!

Wir nehmen jede konstruktive Kritik an unserem familienorientierten Ferienhäuschen ernst und bemühen uns Schritt für Schritt Dinge zu ersetzen oder instand zu halten. Bisher haben wir nur positives Echo, deshalb sollte eine derart irreführende und nicht korrekte Bewertung nicht ohne Antwort bleiben, da wir jährlich über 6-7 Monate an nicht übermäßig vermögende, aber zufriedene Gäste (siehe weitere Bewertungen) vermieten.
Zunächst: im März war es an der Ostsee recht unfreundlich feucht-kalt, da kann das typsiche Südsee-Urlaubsgefühl schonmal ausbleiben, die Fotos der Hompage geben natürlich eher sommerliches Flair wider. Dass trotz liebevoller Vorheizung das Raumklima noch etwas feucht (was so gar nicht zu der Beschwerde 'zu trockene Luft' passt), sollte klar sein. Man muss allerdings den gemütlichen dänischen Gusseisen-Ofen auch bedienen. Die Gäste verheizten an 4 Tagen und Nächten insgesamt nur knapp eine Kiste Holz, zumal die Temperatur bei Nacht unter Null Grad sank. Auch die elektrischen Heizungen wurden kaum genutzt, das konnten wir Anhand des geringen Stromverbrauches der Gäste erkennen.
Das Badezimmer und die Küche wurden im Oktober letzten Jahres mit neuen und stromsparenden Infarotheizungen ausgestattet. In jedem weiteren Zimmer sind Elektroheizungen (vor 3 Jahren gekauft und TÜV geprüft). Lediglich in einem der Räume steht noch ein älterer Ersatzofen, der über 20 Jahre alt ist. Ein (offenbar als zu laut wahrgenommenes) Gebläse beschleunigt die Erwärmung der Zimmer, kann aber jeder Zeit abgestellt werden. Ein ganz klein wenig technische Kenntnisse sind schon hilfreich, um sich wohl zu fühlen. Die Bettdecken sind 3 Jahre alt und 2 Ersatzdecken sind vorhanden. Gerüche im Kühlschrank und der Küchenschränke konnten wir nicht feststellen.
Es ist bei diesem sehr pauschal-negativen Kommentar zu vermuten, dass auch ein Zelturlaub mit den werten 3 Damen grandios gescheitert wäre, da man z.B. ein Zelt aufbauen können muss. Mit zwei Elektroplatten (Ersatzplatten sind übrigens vorhanden) kann man durchaus kochen, das machen Zelturlauber ja auch. Die Einbauküche hat neben Kühl- und Eisschrank, Mikrowelle und Infarotheizung auch eine Spülmaschine, ein ganz schlimmes Djungelcamp ist das also nicht. Das Ferienhaus ist nicht super-modern mit Hochglanzküche, sondern im freundlich und hellem skandinavischen Stil eingerichtet. Man kann dieses Haus tatsächlich sehr gut bewohnen und genießen.
Die Aussenstühle (Kauf 2015) und -Kissen sind übrigens sauber - nur eben von der Sonne inzwischen gebleicht. Die Kissen werden im nächsten Jahr wohl ersetzt.
Wir danken an dieser Stelle nochmal ausdrücklich Frau Birgit Mohwinkel für die immer wieder sehr geschätzte freundliche und persönliche Betreuung unserer Gäste vorort und die liebvolle Pflege und Einrichtung unseres Ostseehauses an der Waterkant.Wir hoffen und wünschen, dass noch viele Gäste hier relativ preisgünstig eine schöne Urlaubzeit erleben und die Ruhe ohne befahrene Strasse vor der Tür sowie die Strandnähe genießen können.

We felt comfortable
Our short holiday in January was beautiful and cosy - wonderful to relax. Extensive walks on the beautiful Baltic Sea beach and then cosy hours by the fireplace were just the right mix. The beautiful surroundings and the beach are worthwhile. The house is furnished with love, not everything hypermodern, but very tasteful and cosy. We felt very comfortable, starting with the nice reception and the friendly introduction. If you don't want luxury, but a house where you can feel comfortable, this is the place for you - you have everything you need. We have already booked for the autumn.
