The vacation home is located in a quiet residential area by the Treene - only 50 m to the water.
It is 400 m to the station (route Hamburg - Sylt), 350 m to the marketplace
and 700 m to the beautiful bathing beach at the Treene in Friedrichstadt.
Doctors, dentists, and a pharmacy are available in the town
Shopping facilities such as Edeka are in the city, likewise Lidl, Aldi, and Rewe can be found about 700 m outside. In our small Dutch town with canals, you will find charming little shops, quaint cafes, and places to enjoy.
By car/bicycle, it is 15 km to Husum, the gray city by the sea, with many shopping opportunities and a harbor.
The small town of Tönning, 11 km away with its historic packhouse, is also worth seeing.
and 33 km to St. Peter Ording with its kilometers-long beautiful sandy beach.
Also 11 km to Simonsberg swimming beach located on the dike with silt foreland.

More than adequate value for money
The holiday apartment impresses with ample space, a more than adequately equipped kitchen, play options for children, excellent cleanliness, and a very friendly and approachable landlord.
Both the city center of Friedrichstadt and the train station are easily reachable on foot.

Beautiful quiet bungalow near the water and the historic city center.
We (couple) have now been to this beautiful newly renovated bungalow for the 3rd time, where you immediately feel comfortable upon entering, as everything is cozy, clean, and well-maintained. Each room is nicely furnished, and the kitchen has everything needed for a self-catering holiday, making cooking enjoyable! Another room in the house is equipped with a washing machine, and you can also securely store bicycles, etc. The terrace in front of the living room is equipped with patio furniture and plants. A private parking space is located at the house. The location of the beautiful bungalow is particularly noteworthy: A short, pleasant walk (about 7 minutes) and you find yourself in the middle of the beautiful picturesque "Dutch" city center, with the canals, many flowers, boats, small cafés, restaurants, and very interesting shops! The landlord is uncomplicated, friendly, and always available for questions (lives one house away). We have already reserved for next year again and are looking forward to it!

Dear guests, I have renovated the house in 2022/2023. Unfortunately, the garden is not quite to my liking yet, but I am still working on my ideas and always have an open ear for tips. It is also possible to arrive with your own canoe, kayak, SUP board, bicycle and boat with trailer or trailer, so there is plenty of space. You can also rent a pedal boat, canoe, kayak or SUP board to explore the canals and the Treene. With your own/rented bike you can cycle to the nearest picturesque harbour towns of Husum and Tönning (approx. 12 km away), and the train offers trips to Hamburg and Sylt. Fishing is also very popular in the canals, the Eider and the Treene.
