Description

Your perfect starting point for excursions in the Lüneburg Heath or even to Hamburg or Lüneburg.
The studio house from 2005 has 2 floors. It has large window areas and two large rooms.
On the upper floor is the light-flooded studio with a size of 47m². Here there is a sofa bed for another 2 people. The functionally furnished kitchen is also located here.
In the basement is the large bedroom, a sauna and a shower room. In the bedroom there is enough space for a travel cot and a fitness station can also be used. Here you have incredible peace and quiet when sleeping.
The roof is completely green, which means a perfect indoor climate in summer and winter. The shared park-like grounds and the large wooden terrace with Bali bed invite you to relax.

There are 2 parking spaces for cars and of course WLAN.

Location and surroundings of object

Jesteburg, with its approx. 10,000 inhabitants, borders on the northern edge of the Lüneburg Heath and offers rural idyll. The village is appreciated for its charming townscape as well as its high recreational value. Hiking, cycling tours, swimming, kayaking, horse riding, tennis as well as golfing are all possible in the immediate vicinity. The region offers some great restaurants & cafés and art lovers will not be left out either. The train station in Buchholz can be reached by bike in about 15 minutes, and from there you can reach Hamburg main station in 22 minutes.
The house is located on a side street with hardly any traffic, close to several landscape conservation areas such as the Klecker Wald and the popular Heidschnuckenweg is in the immediate vicinity.

Dream Vacation Home

The best holiday home we have stayed in over the last 20 years. Top location and amenities, we felt very comfortable and had a great vacation. We can recommend the house without reservation.

Recommended!

We spent four days in this great house and felt very comfortable. The large living-dining room and the terrace are a dream, you can really relax. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary and suitable for simple meal preparation.
One thing to note is that the owner's family lives within sight on the same property and likely uses the house themselves. There are many belongings of the family in closets and boxes.

Nice for a small family

The hosts are very friendly and were available to us at all times if we had any questions. The house is beautifully furnished and the location offers peace, relaxation, and time for wonderful excursions.

Jesteburg itself has a very nice and large playground for children as well as a beautiful fairy-tale hiking trail in a fantastic forest.

We would love to come back.

Great holiday home

Hello,
thank you very much for the warm welcome and the great studio. We didn't miss anything and enjoyed it to the fullest, even if only for a few days, including sauna and home cinema, awesome! The location is also perfect, very quiet and ideal for great hikes. Everything was great and definitely worth recommending!

Comfortable, friendly, quiet

Maybe I should add "romantic" to this headline, because this is the garden with its varied planting and hilly structure, and there are also fish ponds in the immediate vicinity with dense woodland.
The amenities of this vacation home include: a great shower with wonderfully soft water stream, a sauna in the vacation home that we could have used for free, but unfortunately we didn't get around to it for various reasons, a huge living room with a massive window front, television and projector with a large screen, a versatile fitness device, a large terrace with comfortable garden furniture and a Bali bed. The kitchen on the upper floor is still being developed, but it was completely adequate for our needs. My wife liked the French bed, but it was a bit too hard for me. We quickly had a warm contact with the landlord couple and their young children (five and eight), who live in a separate house on the property.
We planned this vacation as a biking vacation from the start, and the starting point to the Lüneburg Heath with its excellent bike paths (excluding the nonexistent bike paths in Jesteburg itself) is excellent for that.
Several books and many games are available for use in the apartment.

We were the first.

We were the first tenants and have not regretted it. Mr. and Mrs. Kehlenbeck are very lovely people and since they live on the property, they are always nearby if anything should be needed. Our request was very spontaneous (3 days before the start of the trip) and Mr. Kehlenbeck hurried to finish the kitchen so that he could make our vacation there possible. We (2 adults and 2 children 4/9) felt very comfortable there. Even on bad weather days, the studio house offered enough entertainment for young and old.
We also found the location great. At night, you could relax very well due to the quiet surroundings and during the day there were many excursion destinations nearby. Even bigger cities like Hamburg and Hannover could be reached in about 1 1/2 hours. We had a very nice time at the studio house and would love to come back!
