Holiday home located in a fantastic coastal landscape on a hill with panoramic views, only 60 m to the coast. An Eldorado for boating, diving, and fishing enthusiasts by the Sognefjord. The holiday home is 70 square meters and contains entrance hall with wardrobe, bathroom/laundry room and storage room. 3 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed, 2 with a single bed. Spacious living room and open plan kitchen with wood burning stove. Staircase to loft with 2 single beds. The living room has a seating area and a cozy dining area and kitchen. From the dining table you have a nice view of the fjord. TV in the living room, satellite dish for German and international channels. Canal Digital. Nice terrace with garden furniture and a view of the fjord. A larger terrace faces west. In the shed there is plenty of space for fishing equipment, life jackets and a freezer. On the lower side of the terrace, there is a path down to a private quay with floating jetty and covered mooring area 60 m from the holiday house. The area has a bustling wildlife of seabirds and the occasional sea eagle, otters and porpoises. If you're lucky, you might even see a minke whale. Bathing beach at Sande 15 min drive away. Possibility of great mountain tours, i.a. to Midtbøfjellet on Ånneland, Vestre- and Tjørefjellet (from 194 -240 m.a.s.l.). Close by is Skjerjehamn with the Olav statue, an old trading post that was restored in 2007. Here you can have a good dinner and be served home-brewed beer, and every year at the end of July a fringe festival is organized with famous artists from near and far. About. 8.2 km to the town of Byrknes with a grocery store and service offer. Bergen is 1.5 hours away with its attractions, shops, and restaurants. Boat for rent: 19 feet with 100 HP, 4 rod holders, GPS/chart plotter/sonar/fish finder The boat is located at the floating jetty 60 m from the holiday home.

It was a typical setting for Norway. The property was very well maintained. The two surrounding houses were hardly noticeable. The view from the living room of the fjord was spectacular. The terrace running around the house always provided the opportunity to walk with the sun or escape from it. From our perspective, the only drawback was the missing fan or the missing window in the bathroom. Unfortunately, this occasionally caused somewhat poor air. after showering for a long time of high humidity. We would definitely recommend the accommodation, especially because of the super nice landlord.

A bit remote, but it is worth it because of the landscape. The house was well maintained, and we loved the local wildlife. We even saw a sea eagle! Overall a unique experience.
