A large terrace with an unobstructed view is attached to the flat. The terrace is equipped with a table, deckchair and sunshade so that it can be used at all hours of the day. A convenient staircase connects the flat to the swimming pool (active from May to October).
From the flat windows you can admire the Gulf of Naples . The air conditioning makes every minute spent inside pleasant and relaxing.

Location and surroundings of object
The accommodation is located on the ISLAND OF ISCHIA, in the municipality of BARANO D'ISCHIA - in the hamlet of BUONOPANE. Guests equipped with a car can reach the flat independently, but usually the appointment is fixed at ISCHIA PORTO and then reach the location in company.
Once disembarked at Ischia Porto, you have to take the road of the "GIRO DELL'ISOLA", (EX STRADA STATALE 270) WITH THE INTENT TO WALK IT IN A CLOCKWISE DIRECTION, according to the following itinerary.
Head towards Barano through a first tunnel, followed by a fast-flowing road (maximum speed limit 50 km/h). After another short tunnel, you reach the 'PILASTRI' area, a Bourbon aqueduct formed by a series of black stone arches.
Continuing on, you come to the first hamlets of the municipality of Barano, then Barano Centro and finally the hamlet of BUONOPANE, recognisable thanks to the MURALES DI MAIOLICA (tiled walls) representing scenes from the famous folk dance of the BUONOPANESI, 'LA NDREZZATA'. During the summer, the Buonopanesi organise frequent public and private performances of this dance. The actors-dancers come from the SCHOOL OF THE NDREZZATA to which ONLY young Buonopanesi are admitted.
From the square in Buonopane, one has to reach the 'QUERCIA ANTICA' and then take 'VIA BUTTAVENTO' to house number 30 to finally find oneself at 'LA ROSSA'.
The access road has a gradient of about 30 %, so a good performance car is required (CILINDRATA 1800/2000 CC).
We are here about 6 km from ISCHIA PORTO, and the road travelled, although a little winding, is well rewarded by the view that opens up to the eyes of the tourist when he or she crosses the gate at number 30.
Via Buttavento borders the GAROFALI HILL at the summit, whose vineyards have produced, over several centuries, wine for the most demanding palates of the bourgeoisie throughout Italy.
"LA ROSSA' is located in the centre of the Garofali Hill. It is difficult to describe the panorama from the flat. The islands of Procida, Vivara and Capri feel like you're holding it in your hands. The CASTELLO ARAGONESE waits for the Feast of Sant'Anna (26 July) to put itself on display with its (simulated) firework display while the guests of 'LA ROSSA' enjoy the fireworks from the terrace, by candlelight and in front of a bottle of Garofali hillside ice-cream wine offered by the house.
The location of 'LA ROSSA,' allows for a fully independent and versatile holiday.
Many guests spend much of the day inside the facility, engaging in pool and solarium activities and rounding off their day with a healthy FINNISH SAUNA, the conciliator of a long night's rest.
It is easy to reach all the beaches on the island; the wonderful MARONTI beach is the closest but there are many equally beautiful ones.
A short and pleasant walk and you arrive at the NITRODI SPRING, whose thaumaturgic waters are known the world over.
The surrounding area is stocked with restaurants, pizzerias, agritourisms, delicatessens and supermarkets.
During the summer, there are various patronal festivals, cultural events and public manifestations in the 6 different municipalities of the ISLAND to ward off any danger of boredom.
The flat is located in the centre of the Garofali Hill with chestnut and oak forests next to it, which are a must for the nature-loving tourist. This oasis of greenery is dear to the Terra Germanica tourist; often, these travellers recount the woodland itinerary, mentioning the locations visited. BUCETO, TRIPODI, CANNAVALE, SPARAINA....... Each of these places is described with such a wealth of detail that one can be sure that they are now engraved in the mind of the narrator.

THE TERRACE
The terrace of 'la rossa' has three steps for access. It is equipped with a table and chairs, a parasol and photovoltaic lighting with remote control.
During the day, the panorama catches the eye. The comings and goings of boats to and from Ischia are spectacular.
THE POOL

The pool can be reached by a driveway ramp or by a convenient staircase from the terrace to the flat,
The fairly large pool has a solarium around it equipped with parasols, deckchairs and sunbeds. The pool has an area with a height of 120 cm and another with a height of 160 cm.
IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU HANDLE YOURSELF, ANY GUESTS WHO NEED TO BE ACCOMPANIED AND CHILDREN WHO ARE UNABLE TO SWIM, WITH ALL DUE CARE.
ATTENTION: THE POOL IS NOT EQUIPPED WITH HOST ASSISTANCE AND THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD
THE FINNISH SAUNA
The sauna has a wood-fired boiler fed from outside the cabin. Inside, a soapstone stack heats the interior.
Next to the sauna is the wood shed with pieces of wood ready to be placed in the furnace.
It takes about an hour to reach 70 °C. Continuing to fuel with wood, the temperature can exceed 100 °C.
The Finnish sauna can
accommodate 3-4 people.
The sauna is self-controlled. This means that the guest loads the furnace by taking pieces of wood and placing them in the furnace.
It is NECESSARY to seek an understanding between the various users to harmonise the temperature and time of use of the sauna.
It is possible from time to time to pour a ladle of water over the pack of stones. (WARNING: the vapours produced can cause burns and uncomfortable breathing situations)
The last user is kindly requested to wash the bench with the inner tube.

My name is Antonio. I built this accommodation facility in the vineyard I inherited from my father. I was a teacher at the historic "ISTITUTO NAUTICO F. CARACCIOLO DI PROCIDA" for the subject of "electrical installations and ship automation". I dedicate most of my time as a pensioner to my wonderful family, made up of myself Antonio, my wife Elena and my children Virginia and Umberto. The care of the vineyard in which the facility is immersed and the winemaking in the cellar represent my main leisure time passion. I dedicate the necessary attention to my guests, providing them with all the information they need to spend a relaxing but intense holiday. The green hills in which the facility is immersed lend themselves to excursions with spectacular views. I often accompany guests on these excursions. Not far from the facility is the wine cellar where I carry out the work related to the grape harvest. Around the cellar of the "COSTA DELLE CARANFE" company, of which I am the owner, lies most of the vineyard. In the renovated historic building, an agritourism will soon be built, with two houses to be used as 'holiday flats'. From these two dwellings branch off many small roads to groves where one can meditate during the summer heat. A holiday at 'LA ROSSA' leaves an indelible mark and a desire to return.
