In the Slootwaardpolder on a cycle route, where you can make beautiful cycling trips to Schoorl and the most beautiful dune area in the Netherlands, then to the cosy coastal towns such as Petten and Callantsoog. Schagen is also worth a visit and to the south, the cosy city of Alkmaar is only a 15-minute drive away. In Waarland, you can enjoy swimming in a beautiful outdoor pool.
