Description
The flat is located on the first floor of a historic building from 1902. The 127 m2 flat served as the municipality's town hall from 1917 to 2005.
From the entrance area you enter the large kitchen with a dining area for up to 8 people. It is the ideal place for a get-together. Passing the modern bathroom with a ground-level shower with rain shower, two washbasins and WC, you reach the living room. You can make yourself comfortable on the large corner sofa while watching TV or playing games together. From summer 2023, you will have access to the large balcony from here.
Three separate bedrooms and an additional lounge offer enough space for sleeping and retiring. From the lounge with a sofa bed and additional TV, you can access two bedrooms, each with a 180×200 double bed, clothes storage and reading chair. One room with two 90×200 single beds leads directly off the hallway.
During the renovation of the large and light-flooded flat in the old town hall of Cranzahl, attention was paid to the use of natural materials and a good indoor climate. Clay plaster on the walls, doors made of larch wood and herringbone parquet give the flat its very special character.
Natural materials were used as far as possible for the restrained furnishings. Furniture made of old wood, imperfect individual pieces, puristic decoration and natural colours characterise the elegant furnishing style.
We offer our guests keyless access to the flat. Other equipment highlights include a modern entertainment system, 4k TV sets and Wi-Fi.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located in the village of Sehmatal-Cranzahl. The famous Fichtelberg railway runs directly from here to the spa town of Oberwiesenthal and it takes about 10 minutes by car to the district town of Annaberg-Buchholz with its popular Christmas market and other attractions. In the village itself, there is the first soup museum and a smokehouse museum.
The area offers many attractions and is known for craftsmanship and tradition. It is a World Heritage Site and an attractive destination both in summer and in winter during the ski season.
