In the double bedroom there is also a single bed, in the living room there is a fully equipped kitchen and a single sofa bed. The bathroom is complete with shower. The independent flat is on the second floor and has a beautiful sea view. Castagneto Carducci is a delightful medieval village famous for the Bolgheri vineyards that surround it. It is located in a hilly position six kilometres from the sandy beaches of the Costa degli Etruschi. There is a bus service to reach the beaches many times a day. Equipment for small children, cot, cart and high chair are available and included in the price. Wi-Fi is available for guests. The house is cool and well ventilated. Many sports can be practised in the area such as horse riding at a riding school in Marina di Castagneto, cycling to explore the surrounding countryside and the famous cities of Tuscany are within driving distance. Florence and Siena are about 2 hours away, Livorno 1 hour and Lucca 1 hour and a half. To go to Rome there is an early morning train and it takes about 2 ½ hours to get there. There is also the possibility of visiting the islands of the archipelago with daily trips that leave from San Vincenzo and Piombino. In the vicinity of Castagneto Carducci are small pearls of culture such as the Etruscan site of Baratti-Populonia, the Rimigliano Park, the San Silvestro mine with a little train that takes guests inside the Old Mine, and the Etruscan town of Volterra with its famous alabaster work. In the area, many farms organise pleasant tastings and visits to wine cellars surrounded by the wonderful vineyards and olive groves that characterise our region. From October to May there is the possibility to organise cooking classes with the owners of the house, where our guests can learn how to cook egg pasta, pizza and some Tuscan specialities. As far as attractions for children are concerned, 5 minutes from the house is the Cavallino Matto amusement park, open from Easter until the end of October; in Cecina (18 km) is the Gallorose wildlife park, which can be visited with a walk of about two hours among the animals in a beautiful natural setting, and the Acqua Park. A short distance away, there is also the Adventure Park 'The Suspended Garden'.

Dear Guests my name is Costanza and I was born in Florence. I have always worked in tourism and speak English, French and German. My family is made up of 6 people: my parents who are passionate about music and cooking, my children Flavia who is 18 years old and an economics student and Matteo who works as a cook near our house, then there is my sister and I who work in 2 hotels in the area. We are very welcoming people and we love to make our guests feel part of the family. We deeply love our land and know it well so we can help organise excursions for everyone.
