The stay here felt more personal than in other places I have visited. I liked strolling through Nouart and soaking up the local charm. It was different from stays in cities, refreshing.

Just like last year, we really enjoyed our stay. It is wonderfully quiet there and there are very friendly, pleasant people who you can easily connect with. We took long walks in the area and saw deer, many birds of prey, and wild boars, and visited some beautiful cities. When we needed a doctor, Jean-Luc helped us excellently by making an appointment with his general practitioner and taking us there. Never knew that iron ore was mined in Nouart and that there were blast furnaces there, but also that there was a large monastery opposite the church, but also that during the war in a nearby village the church was heavily shelled during the retreat of German soldiers after the Ardennes Offensive. The traces are still clearly visible.

We were looking for a cottage for a week to rest, read books and walk the dog. This villa lived up there to complete. There was even a nice jacuzzi for us alone. The village and surrounding area is very quiet. Hiking trails are just barely - if we could not find them.

Nice house in a rural setting. If you want to relax this is a great house with a hot tub outside where you can enjoy the surroundings. The host and hostess, Jean Luc and Elizabeth were the perfect combination of being out of sight but available when necessary. They were very friendly and made us feel welcome. A lovely tour in a all terrain 4x4 of the extensive farm and seeing what happens during milking time was great! Very little English is spoken so it was fun practising our French! Being in the fantastic hot-tub jaccuzzi looking at the stars was idyllic!

Our stay in Nouart was fine! We had a wonderful week here. A nice house with a spacious terrace and a large lawn for it! And do not forget the hot tub in the garden! Obviously, this is really great. If you go at night in the dark in the Jacuzzi s "with the view of the Champagne Ardennes. That's just enjoy !. Nouart itself is really a very small village, and you really have to drive way at what other towns or cities going., it is now exactly 100 years ago that the 1st world war has begun and in this area, that struggle has taken place. We had a great holiday in the village Nouart. The house is occupied by the owner, his wife and a daughter who is almost never home during the day so you have more privacy. The host and hostess, Jean Luc and Elizabeth were the perfect combination of being out of sight but available when necessary. They were very friendly and made us feel welcome. A lovely tour in a all terrain 4x4 of the extensive farm and seeing what happens during milking time was great! Very little English is spoken so it was fun practising our French! Being in the fantastic hot-tub jaccuzzi looking at the stars was idyllic!

Nice house in a rural setting. If you want to relax this is a great house with a hot tub outside where you can enjoy the surroundings. We have been a short week here with our son six months. House is ideal for a couple with baby. Baby cot and high chair are available.
