Beautiful!

We spent a few relaxing days in this beautiful holiday home. It really has everything you could think of, the house is very tastefully decorated and is really beautifully situated near the lake. Everything is spotlessly clean. Mr Silhanek is a very friendly host. We felt really comfortable and were able to relax. We will be very happy to come back!

Super accommodation

Contrary to the claim of Thilo from Olsberg from June 2018, we have to say that 99% of his claims are wrong. The landlord is very friendly and helpful, there is both hot water and Wi-Fi available, as well as the accommodation is very clean and equipped with everything you need. We were here with friends from Austria from 7-14.9.2019 and can only recommend this holiday home. Access to the lake is also possible. Canoes can be rented cheaply from the landlord. If you have any questions, the landlord is happy to help and can also give advice on what to do. Of course, the accommodation is not directly in the centre of Cheb, but you can reach the town in about 10 minutes.

Very nice, cosy holiday home. Quiet location in the middle of nature. You can hike beautifully, shopping possibilities every day are nearby. (Cheb) The restaurant 1 km away is highly recommended. The surroundings are very natural. The landlord is very nice and helpful. When the weather is nice you can sit outside and have a barbecue. All in all very nice.

Super holiday

We spent a week in this beautiful holiday home. We can absolutely not confirm what our predecessor described. Nothing was missing. Wi-Fi is available on request and it was not cold in the house and even if it was, the landlords are very helpful and friendly and turn on the heating on request or make a fire in the fireplace. The peace and quiet and the view of the lake are just the right thing to switch off from everyday life. Even our children, 9 and 14, loved it there because they could do small things without us. The property and the house were very well maintained and clean inside and out - some German holiday home owners could take a leaf out of their book!!!!! There's plenty of shopping facilities in Cheb, about 6 km away. Once again a big thank you to Josef and Vera for the great time with you. We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to it.

Pure disappointment

Booked for 8 days, canceled after 3 days. Cool mornings and evenings, no heating (not even in the bathroom), landlord says it's typical for the country. No access to the nearby lake, swimming not recommended - very dirty.
Okay for those needing absolute peace. No shopping opportunities nearby (approx. 6km), nearby restaurant not recommended.
With some luck, Wi-Fi works, was shut off because the bill was not paid!!
Too expensive, neighboring houses have better offers!! Otherwise, there is no sunbed available despite the offer.

Holiday

We will gladly come again. Nothing was missing. Vera and Josef have become friends for us. We felt at home and were with the dog. The restaurant nearby is recommendable. Home cooking and nice owners. Christmas by the fireside

We were allowed to spend our Christmas in this beautiful holiday home by the fireplace, just as we had imagined. The holiday home leaves nothing to be desired. The landlords are very friendly. There were even freshly baked biscuits on Christmas Day. Thank you again for the beautiful Christmas.

Holiday home with privacy

Everything is exactly as in the photos. The cottage is really very tastefully decorated. There is also a toaster, by the way, if you need one. In the evenings, the nights were quite cold, but Josef heated us up with birch logs in the fireplace. The holiday home is a nice place to chill out and relax

There is no place to eat in the village, the restaurant was wrongly positioned on the internet. After a somewhat longer walk, however, you will find this restaurant in the next village

There were two of us in the cottage and we recovered well from the stress of everyday life during this short week. If you are looking for peace and quiet, I highly recommend this holiday home.

Great holiday in Cetnov

We had a wonderful holiday with the granddaughter in the best weather. The house is very well furnished and in a quiet location. It is a great starting point for trips to Cheb (especially to the garden exhibition) and to the Bohemian spa triangle, but also to the Upper Palatinate.

Special mention should be made of the very friendly and caring hosts Vera and Josef.

Very nice accommodation

We (3 people with dog) were there for 4 days. Very nice and well maintained accommodation, good facilities, nice and helpful landlord and great view. About 5 km from Cheb and also just under 10km from Franzensbad.

What we didn't like was that it was hard to get down to the lake - so close and yet so far away.... apart from the view, there was nothing to see from Skalka Lake - which is a real pity.

Nevertheless, we can recommend this holiday home and we will definitely come again... Thank you very much

A dream!!!!

We were only at the holiday home for a few days and found it very beautiful. A new house with a great setup for a lovely vacation. Everything you needed was there. The small kitchen is equipped with everything if you want to cook. In the living area, there is a beautiful fireplace that gives very cozy warmth. The great large terrace offers many possibilities - having a barbecue party, soaking up the sun, watching the sunset on the lake, and admiring the bright stars. We felt comfortable and were sad that we had to leave again. The vacation home landlords were very nice and helpful, made an effort to make the guests as comfortable as possible. Can only recommend it!

Beautiful dream :-)

Booking this house is the right choice. Everything one could wish for is available.
The equipment of the house, its location overlooking the lake, the surrounding garden, and the terrace allow for a relaxing holiday.
We arrived with our dog, who felt just as comfortable as we did.
Vera and Josef, the hosts, are extremely friendly and helpful. Here you feel well taken care of and can enjoy your holiday. The city of Cheb and the well-known spa towns are worth visiting and are only a maximum of 60 km away. Other famous sites are also easily accessible. Hiking, cycling, fishing, etc. are just a few leisure activities that are possible. We really enjoyed our time and will definitely come back. Vera and Josef, thank you again for the wonderful time! !

Vacation :)

Great holiday, inexpensive and with lots of comfort. You feel comfortable here. A property for grilling, badminton, or soccer. A large terrace at the house for breakfast and/or relaxing.

Quiet Christmas days

If you are looking for some distance from everyday life and, above all, a lot of peace and quiet, this is the right place for you. The bungalow is very nice and leaves nothing to be desired. Whether breakfast on the terrace overlooking Lake Skalka or grilling in the garden - everything is possible. The landlords are very accommodating and nice.

We really liked the house, which is located right by the lake. The house was in top condition and very well maintained. The garden and terrace were also impeccable. The area is perfect for a cycling holiday or hiking. For daily needs, there are plenty of shopping options in Cheb (Eger) 9 km away.

Simply beautiful and relaxing.

We spent a week as a couple in this accommodation in June 2012. It couldn't be better. Beautifully quiet surroundings, well-developed cycling paths, and a magnificent landscape. The landlord of the house always provided fresh wood to fuel the fireplace and gave great excursion tips. We will come back!!!

Vicinity of the holiday home: Es ist eine sehr ruhige Umgebung in einem verschlafenen Dorf. Empfehlung für Ruhesuchende.

free time activities: Wir waren mit den Fahrrädern dort und zum Fahhrad fahren für anspruchsvolle Fahrradfahrer super geeignet. Man fährt eigentlich immer irgendwie durch den Wald, an einem Fluss entlang oder einem See.

shopping facilities: Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in ca. 5 km Fahrt zu erreichen. Es ist alles vorhanden von InterSpa über Lidl, Penny etc. Und der Hammer. Man kann sogar Sonntags einkaufen.

A newly built house with great amenities for a beautiful vacation. There is a large living area with kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom with shower/toilet and sink. The small but fully adequate kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking. In the living area, there is a beautiful fireplace that provides great warmth, along with a sofa, 2 armchairs, and a table. The sofa is a secret tip, I would have liked to take it home with me ;-), a TV with satellite is also available. The landlords are very nice and try everything to make a nice holiday. The house has space for up to 6 people, 2 bedrooms each with a double bed and a large wardrobe. Since the construction work is not yet completely finished, and a terrace with a pool should be added, I am already looking forward to next year. To sum it up, anyone looking to have an inexpensive vacation is exactly right! Highly recommend it!
