Holiday house on a natural plot with a view of Lonevågen. Final cleaning included in the price. Cozy holiday home with combined living room and kitchen. TV via fiber with Netflix, Norwegian and Nordic channels. German channels can be streamed. Internet speed: 500 Mbit. Outside the living room, there is a covered terrace. One bedroom has a single bed and a bunk bed for 2 people, the width of the bunk bed is 90 cm. 100 meters to swimming from the rock and jetty. 20 meters to the nearest neighbor and 3 km to a grocer and restaurant. Osterøy, with its deep fjords, mountains, and valleys, has been described as "miniature Norway". It is a short drive to Bergen with everything the city can offer. Day trips to Voss, Hardanger and Flåm from Bergen are also possible. Great hiking in the mountains on Osterøy. If you are interested in culture, Ole Bull's summer house at Valestrand can be recommended. The Osterøy museum and the medieval church in Hamre are also well worth a visit. Loneelva is about 4 km from the holiday home, with salmon up to 2 kg and sea trout up to 1 kg. Filleting place with light and running water. We rented the house from early to mid-September 2025, primarily for a fishing holiday. One thing upfront: the house is actually nicer than in the photos! Most household items are available, but we did miss a few things, e.g., a splatter guard for frying pans, a scale, a household broom and dustpan (there is a broom for outside). Unfortunately, the light in the kitchen itself is very poor, or rather nonexistent; we partly worked with our headlamps. That was not so good. The bed is comfortable. Unfortunately, the house has no nice view. This was not specifically offered or expected, but one should not underestimate this when booking. View of the fjord is marginal and there are bags stored in front of the terrace, not nice. The terrace itself is great. And there is a large grill house, just a few meters away from the houses. Great, one could throw real parties there if one wants to. We must unfortunately seriously criticize the contact with the landlord. There was no personal contact in the first few days, messages went unanswered, no information about the house, electricity meter reading, meter location, etc. No information about the ordered boat, etc. Neither where the boat is, nor what kind it is, or when we would receive it. This caused us a lot of stress in the first few days because we did not know how things were supposed to proceed. Only after the threat of legal action did things start to move, and the owner got in touch. That was really really stupid! As compensation, we were offered a price reduction, but we would have preferred to avoid the hassle and the loss of time. :-( Personally, the owner made a sympathetic, friendly impression, but unfortunately, the contact via sms/whatsapp was very poor. The fuel for the boat was only provided after multiple inquiries. Unfortunately, at first without adequate transfer options, there were neither funnels nor nozzles. The canister had about 20 (?) liters, transferring it into the tank on the swaying boat is simply not cleanly possible without aids. We got quite a bit on us, goodness gracious. After a clear conversation, it worked out, a nozzle was provided. But everything was yet another stressful act. It was very poorly organized and cost more time and nerves. The boat itself was in order and reliable. Rather small, but okay for 2 people with fishing gear. For 3, it might be a bit tight. By the way, there are 2 boats! The slightly better, slightly larger, and more stable boat should definitely be reserved in advance. The price seems to be the same for both boats. The final bill surprised us a bit, mainly the electricity costs. Perhaps the prices have risen compared to 2024, we cannot assess that. The owner did meet us a bit here. Still, it is simply better to see the meter readings. There was no protocol, as there had been no handover. Unpleasant. It was also annoying that we did not receive any information on whether our transfer had arrived and was correct. Only after inquiring a few days later did we get an okay. But unfortunately, no receipt/screenshot, even though we had requested it. I'm sorry to have to say this, but the owner is definitely too uncommunicative. That is very unfortunate. Info, meter view, receipt (screenshot) should be taken for granted. After the annoyances, we still had a good vacation overall. The area is beautiful and offers great fishing opportunities. Grandiose fish wealth and great mushrooms in the forest. Would love to come back, but maybe not this house for reasons. Norway is just great! Greetings L&VPS: In fact, the landlord was not well when we arrived, which of course made us very sorry, but we cannot let it become our problem. Representation must be planned. Info: TV does not work, but Netflix can be used. The internet was stable. Recommendations: The large pizza at the pizzeria in the village is really big! For those who like fishing... it’s great from the shore. Pollock, mackerel, cod, and with a bit of luck, also trout. Great. Many great mushrooms in the forest, but also many ticks. Think of the tick card or whatever to remove ticks!

We had a lovely stay at the holiday home in Lonevåg. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made it easy for us to prepare meals. The terrace was a great place for our family barbecues in the evening.
