Our vacation apartment is located on the edge of the Hohendubrau nature reserve. Ancient oaks, gnarled willows tell their stories and invite you to hike and enjoy. For researchers and explorers, there are many native animals to see and one experiences nature in its most beautiful facets. It is the perfect retreat for those seeking relaxation, wanting to escape the hectic everyday life. Enjoy the silence of nature and let your soul dangle. If you prefer city tours instead, that's no problem. Nearby are historical and cultural highlights such as the cities of Görlitz, Bautzen, Zittau, and Dresden. The Upper Lusatia region is rich in tradition and culture. Depending on the season, you can participate in various local festivals and events, such as the famous Christmas Market in Bautzen or the Sorbian Easter rides.
Upper Lusatia is also an adventure for families with children. Visit the Dinosaur Park in Kleinwelka or explore the numerous historic castles and palaces in the region. Boredom is certainly not an option here. In the apartment, there are many games and a basket of books, not just for the little ones.
After an event-packed day, enjoy the peace and cozy atmosphere of our vacation apartment. The view over the expansive landscape of Upper Lusatia is a delight at any time of day. Experience breathtaking sunsets right on the balcony. Especially the starry sky on clear nights, far from the cities, is unforgettable here.
Our apartment is located on the 1st floor of the building. It is lovingly furnished and fully equipped, so you will lack nothing.
The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need for your culinary creations. There is a spacious dining area with a panoramic window, overlooking huge, old linden trees. The living room with cozy armchairs, sofa, and flat-screen TV also invites you to linger.
Whether sun or rain, a covered barbecue area is available to you.
Your four-legged friend is warmly welcome here. The surrounding meadows and forests are ideal for extended walks with your dog. We are happy to provide you with bowls and blankets.
Arriving by car is straightforward. A free parking space is available directly in front of the apartment. Opportunities to accommodate bicycles are available.

Our vacation apartment is located about 5 km from the Dresden-Görlitz highway junction. The nearest bus stop is 300 m away.
The area around our vacation apartment is a true paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. Whether it's hiking, cycling, or just enjoying the fresh air, there are numerous opportunities to be active right from the doorstep. Nearby lakes invite you for a swimming trip.
The vacation apartment is not only idyllically situated but also well-connected. In a few minutes, you'll be on the highway, and day trips to Dresden or Görlitz are easily possible.
You can comfortably reach the Czech or Polish border on a day trip. This way, you can get to Liberec or Jelenia Góra in just about 1.5 hours by car.

Cancellation terms:
- You will be refunded the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 4 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 4 days before check-in, you will be refunded 50% of the booking amount minus the price for the first night and the cancellation fee.

Our holiday apartment has cycling and hiking maps available. There are many brochures for exploring the nature reserve or taking a tour in the Oberlausitz region. We are in contact with local and regional providers. Do you need pure beeswax for candle making or would you like to harvest your own mushrooms at the nearby organic mushroom farm? The range of wishes and discoveries is enormous.
We are happy to help you discover the region like a local. Flexible arrival and departure times are possible by arrangement.

Great vacation
The goal of this trip was to escape the New Year's fireworks in the big city with our dog. We succeeded wonderfully. We spent a great vacation week in the holiday apartment; everything we needed was available, and the peace was heavenly. In the adjacent nature reserve, we were able to explore many hiking trails, greet cows, and observe deer. The landlady is very fond of animals and has prepared everything for a relaxing vacation. holiday address in an (for us) unknown part of Germany
Looking for a vacation home in an unknown part of Germany. The selection of more or less centrally located spaces is not large. Ended up with this property. Contact with Mrs. Schubert goes well via the messenger of this site. The property is beautifully located, with a nice view of a hill over the mountains of Oberlausitz. The property is spacious, clean, and complete except for a few points of attention. The lighting in the living area is poor with only a ceiling lamp emitting cold light. Make it cozier with some decentralized lighting. The absence of WiFi is unfortunate and (especially in this time) a disturbing factor. The mobile data runs out quickly. Given the rental price, this should actually be included as standard. Lastly, blackout in the bedrooms deserves attention. With Velux blinds or nothing at all, it is simply too bright in the bedrooms. But if these are not points of concern for you, then you get a good complete holiday home here.

Large bright apartment in a fantastic location
Large bright holiday apartment with rustic charm, in a fantastic location. Pure nature right behind the house, a good starting point for hikes and bike tours. The view from the balcony is spectacular. Ideal for a holiday with a dog, very nice and animal-friendly host. We really enjoyed our days here.
