Location of "Villa Leca":
Our beautiful holiday home is located in Kricina, a district of the historic small town of Bribir in the county of Primorsko-goranska, about 35km south of Rijeka.
The accommodation is really easily accessible by car. A well-developed village road leads from the main road (coastal road) via Birbir or Grizane into the mountainous hinterland of Crikvenica and Novi Vinodolski to Kricina, in front of the imposing cliff face with the well-known viewpoints "Eyes of Vinodol" at about 300m above sea level. Even up here you already have a great view of the Kvarner Bay and the island of Krk.
Our strikingly sunny yellow house is really easy to find. One advantage is the two private parking spaces located right next to the accommodation. When arriving, you do not have to drive on narrow, blind, or steep roads, which can often be the case in this area. A challenge even for experienced drivers, which you are spared with our accommodation! :)
Distance to the sea and beach:
The sea is at a distance of approx. 3km (as the crow flies). The coastal towns of Novi Vinodolski, Selce, and Crikvenica are each 8 km away by car.
The nearest sandy beach in Selce can be easily reached by car in about 10 minutes. The way to Novi Vinodolski and Crikvenica, as well as to other beaches (nudist, dog beaches, pebble and rocky beaches with bathing plateaus, wild beaches, city beaches, etc.) and thus to the hustle and bustle, also takes only a few minutes by car. Shopping:
The small center of Bribir is located 3 km away and offers several cafés, two small mini-supermarkets, a bakery, a pharmacy, a post office, an ATM, a playground, and is mainly characterized by local flair. A flying visit including a walk is worthwhile, perhaps also to strike up a conversation with locals and, over a coffee, beer, or "Gemišt" (wine spritzer) at reasonable prices, to experience the Croatian "dolce vita" with a light touch of the Yugoslav era. Novi Vinodolski and Crikvenica offer a variety of shopping opportunities due to the numerous grocery stores; Crikvenica also has a daily market (Zeleni trznica), where you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables from local vendors. There is also a fish shop here. You will also find a small shopping mall (Duga Mall) in Crikvenica. If you want to take a real stroll or take a day off from the sun, you can do so in Rijeka Kukuljanovo (shopping street, 28km) or in the Rijeka Tower Center (shopping mall, 35km).
Excursion destinations and activities:
Around Bribir there are numerous excursion destinations available, either on foot, by bicycle, or by car/motorcycle. Many guests not only visit the beautiful, diverse, nearby beaches, but also go fishing in the hinterland (Tribalj Jezera), hiking, observe wild horses, explore caves (Spilja Vrelo in Fuzine) or go cycling, visit the Velebit mountains or the national parks (Risnjak, Plitvicka Jezera), the island of Krk with the beautiful old town of Krk, or the different but interesting neighboring cities Rijeka and Opatija. Somewhat longer excursions to the more southern Zadar with its famous sea organ or to ancient Pula with the amphitheater in Istria are also possible.
However, there are also worthwhile sights in the immediate vicinity, such as Stari Grad Ledenice, which offers a breathtaking view over the Crikvenica Riviera to the island of Krk, especially in the evening during sunset, or the town of Senj with its fortress complex and castle museum. Crikvenica itself offers the possibility to visit a small aquarium.
At the local marinas along the coast, various water sports can be practiced, boat tours booked, or motorboats chartered.
Basically, there are many interesting places along the Crikvenica Riviera that are worth a visit.

Great holiday home with super amenities
The holiday home leaves nothing to be desired; everything has been thought of. You feel at home. The furnishings are very well thought out and lovingly decorated. The house is very spacious, and the en-suite bathrooms in each room are a great comfort, especially when traveling in a group.
There was nothing that was missing.
The hosts were super friendly and helpful and provided advice and assistance; a new glass bottle for the grill was promptly delivered. For the welcome, there was a basket of fresh fruit.
The cleanliness was exceptional.
An all-around great holiday home that we can only recommend.

Perfect vacation
We (2 adults and 7 children) were allowed to spend wonderful vacation days in Villa Leca. Upon arrival, a large fruit basket, wine, drinks, and various sweets and snacks were ready. The villa was very clean, stylish, and thoughtfully furnished. It was great that each room had its own bathroom. Our kids really enjoyed using the sauna. We also liked that the villa is located somewhat away from the beaches, so we were relatively flexible and tried out some beaches as well. The landlords were very helpful and available for questions and tips. As a farewell, there was also a small gift from the landlords. Thank you very much for the lovely time. ❤️

Beautiful holiday home with upscale amenities
We were with 2 families for 10 days in Villa Leca. We were very kindly welcomed and shown around. There was a fruit basket, snacks, drinks, and wine to greet us. All the rooms were very clean and tastefully furnished. The kitchen was also very well equipped. There was enough dishware for 12 people, sharp knives, and a coffee machine with various toppings. A gas grill on the terrace and a washing machine completed the great amenities. The hosts were quick to reach, friendly, and took care of our concerns immediately.
We felt very comfortable there! From our side, a clear recommendation!!!

Great vacation
We were able to spend 10 wonderful vacation days in Villa Leca. Upon our arrival, a huge fruit basket and other treats were ready for us. We were warmly welcomed by the owners. The house is very tastefully decorated. You feel comfortable right away. Everything is very clean and well-maintained. The amenities are more than great; everything has been thought of, and we lacked nothing. Even various wellness items for the sauna were provided for us. We also enjoyed the pool very much. We went to the beaches several times, which are relatively quick to reach by car. The supermarkets are just a few minutes away by car. There are many beautiful excursion destinations in the area. We will spend one of our next vacations in Villa Leca again.

Dear future guests, my name is Kresimir Chris and I am a German-Croatian. I was born in Germany, but descend from Croatian parents. My family and I moved to my real home in Croatia a few years ago. It was the right decision, here the clocks still tick differently, especially slower and everything is much less stressful. For the children, it's an almost perfect place to grow up carefree.
