Description
We are very much looking forward to welcoming you in our great holiday home "Villa Leca" and say "dobro došli" as is customary in the country!
The house was renovated by us with a lot of pleasure, newly furnished and equipped with additional attractive possibilities (sauna with relaxation area and separate bath, heated outdoor pool with outdoor shower, sun terrace with sun loungers, roofed terrace with seating lounge and barbecue possibility, fully equipped kitchen among other things with ice cube machine and electric milk frother, electric darts, various board games, safe, offer SUP andcanoe rental).
The air-conditioned house offers plenty of space for up to 10 adults and is equipped in a family-friendly way (1 large family room with 2 double beds, 1 extra bed for children, children's crockery, bathroom accessories for children, 1 high chair, play box with toys). The bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, are located on the 1st and 2nd floor and are accessible via stairs. Three of the rooms have a south-facing balcony with sea view. Also on the 2nd floor is the sauna with en-suite bathroom and an indoor relaxation area, as well as a further relaxation area on the sunny balcony with sea view. All windows and balcony doors are equipped with fly screens and roller shutters. Via the spacious entrance area on the ground floor with cloakroom and pellet stove (for winter days) as well as guest toilet, you reach the attractively furnished living room, which is equipped with a large, comfortable couch, a flat-screen TV and audio equipment (free WLAN, Smart TV, satellite TV, Alexabox) to provide entertainment. From the living area, you enter the open-plan kitchen with dining area, which blends harmoniously into the great room. A beautiful rustic oak table, handcrafted in Croatia, seats 10 people comfortably. The terrace is right next door and, thanks to a flexible pavilion roof, has a seating area that can provide sun or shade as needed. There is also a barbecue facility (gas). The cosy seating area not only invites you to linger and relax, but also to enjoy a nice get-together after a barbecue with family or friends with, for example, freshly caught fish from the local fishmongers. The atmospheric lighting of the pavilion underlines the Mediterranean atmosphere in the evening, perhaps to end the day with a glass of wine.
The adjoining pool area with sun terrace has a seasonal (May-October), heatable outdoor pool with a size of approx. 24sqm and a depth of approx. 1.5m. Furthermore, a solar-heated outdoor shower is available. The pool area is completely secluded and guarantees unrestricted privacy.
A total of two parking spaces belong to the holiday home. Free additional parking space is available in the immediate vicinity.
To make it easier for you to arrive at your holiday destination, we provide towels and bed linen as well as bathroom articles (toilet paper and hand washing lotion) and cleaning products. The kitchen is also equipped with coffee filters, rubbish bags, cling film, kitchen paper, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tabs, etc.
We wish you a wonderful and carefree holiday in our holiday home and are already open to criticism and suggestions during your stay so that we can remedy the situation as quickly as possible.
Even outside the holiday home, we will be happy to help you with words and deeds if necessary and can be reached by phone or via messenger services at almost any time.

Location and surroundings of object
Our house "Villa Leca", is situated on a village street in the mountainous hinterland of Novi Vinodolski and Crikvenica. The way to both places, to the beach and to the hustle and bustle takes only a few minutes by car. The nearest village, Bribir, 3 km away, offers a few cafés, two smaller supermarkets, a bakery, a pharmacy, a post office, an ATM, a playground and is mainly country-style. It's worth a visit and a stroll to get to know the locals and enjoy a café, beer or "Gemišt" (wine spritzer) at reasonable prices and experience the Croatian "Dolce Vita" with a hint of the Jugo era.
There are numerous excursion destinations around Bribir, either on foot, by bicycle or by car/motorbike. Many guests not only visit the nearby beaches (pebble and stone beaches with bathing platforms, sandy beach, dog beach, nudist beach) and the sea (3 km as the crow flies, 7 km by car), but also go fishing in the hinterland (Tribalj Jezera), hiking, wild horses, explore caves or go cycling, visit the Velebit mountains or the national parks (Risnjak, Plitvicka Jezera), the island of Krk with the beautiful old town of Krk or the unequal but interesting neighbouring towns of Rijeka and Opatija. Slightly further excursions to the more southerly Zadar with the Merres organ or to the ancient Pula on Istria are also possible. However, there are also worthwhile sights in the immediate vicinity, such as Stari Grad Ledenice, which offers a breathtaking view over the Crikvenica Riviera to the island of Krk, especially in the evening hours during sunset, or the town of Senj with its fortress and castle museum. Crikvenica itself has the possibility to visit a small aquarium. Various boat tours can be booked at the marina. Basically, there are many interesting places on the Crikvenica Riviera that would be worth a visit.

It was the right decision, here the clocks still tick differently, especially slower and everything is much less stressful. For the children, it's an almost perfect place to grow up carefree.
