This spacious old brick house, renovated to a high standard, is ideal for up to 3 families with children (11 beds, 5 bedrooms, wood-heated sauna in the garden) or musicians who want to play the Steinway B grand piano.
It is beautifully situated on the edge of the village on a large plot with many fruit trees, directly on the slope of the vineyard. From the windows and the garden there is a very beautiful view of the hilly fields.
The cobblestone road is hardly used and leads to the Behrendsee, 1.5 km away.
Behind the house you can walk up the slope to the high swing, which offers a magnificent view over the fields while swinging. If you climb the steep slope even higher, you will reach the lookout point along the edge of the forest, which is 111 m high after all and offers a great view all around into the Uckermark landscape.
Only 2.5 km to a good bathing spot at Sabinensee with a large jetty and small beach for the children (10 min by bike, 4 min by car).

The house is situated at the end of the village on the slope of the vineyard with a magnificent view of the hilly landscape. Rare birds circle above the house or search for food on the cane paddock. Groß Fredenwalde lies in one of the most beautiful parts of the Uckermark. The Uckermark is one of the most sparsely populated areas in Europe. Here, nature is often left to its own devices and offers plenty of space for humans and animals. Hilly fields, deep mixed forests, lonely lakes, rarely used country lanes and always a new view from a hill into the varied landscape offer the holidaymaker a beautiful background to spend a relaxing restful holiday while hiking, cycling, bathing or just being.

Beautiful country house in the Uckermark region
We spent a very nice autumn weekend in Fredenwalde with 4 families. The house is a dream, as is the large garden with fruit trees, sauna and barbecue. Unfortunately, the time was far too short. We will come again, no question!

Holiday idyll
There were 7 of us on holiday in the country house and we had a wonderful rest. The house is beautiful, there is much to discover. You can always hear cranes, woodpeckers, roebucks... For the morning tea, the garden is richly stocked and you can pick fruit in the whole garden (we were there in August)
If there were any questions or problems, someone was there immediately (within half an hour!!!).
It doesn't get any better than this. Thank you very much!

Relaxing in the Uckermark
We had a family reunion at Landhaus Fredenwalde on three sunny autumn days. The large dining table in the kitchen was the meeting place for eight adults and four (small) children at mealtimes. The huge garden became an adventure playground. Fredenwalde is located in one of the most beautiful corners of the Uckermark. You shouldn't miss seeing the wooden baptismal angel in the church. You can fish in several nearby lakes. And if you are looking for peace and quiet or want to read, you will find many places in the beautifully furnished house where you can be with yourself and look out over the wide landscape.

Country house dream with wing in the Uckermark
The country house in Fredenwalde is a beautifully restored holiday home with a very large garden in the countryside, where we felt very comfortable - and it leaves nothing to be desired. As a piano player, it was a joy for me to be able to play and improvise on the Steinway grand piano.
There is also a lot to discover in the surrounding area: for example, the nearby ostrich farm, the water castle in Gerswalde, or the wonderful area of Boitzenburg Castle. Going for walks in the surrounding area allows you to enjoy nature right on your doorstep; now in spring, we passed by blooming rapeseed fields. In the evenings, we enjoyed ending the day with a barbecue and by the fire pit.
Furthermore, it's highly commendable that any open questions regarding the vacation stay can be easily, quickly, and promptly clarified with the landlord beforehand.
We would very much like to come back sometime.
