Description

Our new chalet offers you and your family a carefree vacation in the beautiful holiday park Lauwersoog, right next to the national park "Lauwersmeer" with a gently sloping sandy beach and sunbathing lawn, which is about 250 meters away. Within walking distance, you can reach the World Heritage site "Wadden Sea". Playgrounds, an indoor playground, and a water playground provide varied activities for children. A children's animation program is also offered during the season. Numerous excursion opportunities are available such as a trip to the island Schiermonnikoog by boat, the fishing village of Zoutkamp, the Tea Factory in Houwerzijl, the charming city of Dokkum, the adventure park Waddenfun in Wehe-den Hoorn, the "WEC World Natural Heritage Center Wadden Sea" with seal center in the port of Lauwersoog, as well as the noteworthy and vibrant city of Groningen. These are just some excerpts from the large selection. Rent a boat, or take a course at the local surfing schools, and go on a mudflat hiking tour for mind and soul.
The park offers a restaurant with a large lake terrace, a supermarket, as well as a bicycle rental service. Also try the freshly caught fish in the various restaurants at the harbor.
Our chalet with parking is centrally located in the park and still offers absolute privacy. The chalet is designed for six people with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms each with a shower, and an additional toilet. The living room with the adjoining fully equipped kitchen invites you to a cozy stay. There is also a flat-screen TV in the living room. The large bedroom with a double bed is additionally equipped with a second flat-screen TV. The large, fully covered terrace, as well as the separate barbecue area, are equipped with beautiful lounge sets and comfortable deck chairs. Here, one can beautifully end the day.
There are insect screen pleats on the windows and terrace door.
The kitchen includes a pad and a filter coffee machine.

Well-maintained chalet

The chalet is very well equipped. The outdoor area is well maintained and provides excellent privacy with the hedges. The terrace is covered and cozy even in the rain. I can definitely recommend the chalet, even with children.

Beautiful chalet

We found an almost new chalet, fully equipped and very clean. The park benefits greatly from its many, partly large trees. We were very satisfied. The communication with the landlord was exemplary.

Super nice chalet in a beautiful location at the foot of the mountains.

We had a wonderful holiday.
The chalet is super equipped and offers everything you need.
The beach was within easy walking distance in just a few minutes. There were several nice playgrounds and a small indoor play area. There is a lot on offer for children.
We will gladly come back! :)

Cosy chalet with a great terrace

We arrived with three generations and still had no problems. The chalet is very, very clean and every square meter is very well thought out. The furnishings are tasteful and everything you need is available. We especially liked the covered terrace, as we could sit there comfortably even in cooler weather. Despite the size of the complex, it is very peaceful there. In the supermarket, you can find pretty much everything you might have forgotten. For a larger shopping trip, you have to drive a bit further though. The entire process, starting from booking, arrival/departure etc., went absolutely smoothly. The only thing we missed was a bit of beach feeling by the open sea... We would book this chalet again anytime.

Great vacation with family and friends.

We had a wonderful stay as a family with 2 children. The equipment is top-notch and the location is great. We really enjoyed our time by the sea and covered some kilometers with the bikes. There was a lot offered for the children. They would have liked to stay longer. We can highly recommend this accommodation.
