Enter the vacation home to walk down the hallway past the bathroom into the large, light-filled living room, where you have plenty of room to spread out and make yourself comfortable. Even from inside, you can look out the windows at the Baltic Sea and the yellow sand of the southern beach and listen to the sound of the sea when you open the windows.
Of course, you could also walk past the dining table to the balcony for some private sun, a drink, or perhaps some reading while the salty sea air blows around your nose.
If you want to retreat, the large couch and a cozy armchair are waiting in the living room from where you can watch your favorite TV series. Of course, you could also keep talking or make yourself comfortable at the dining table to play some games. It's time to eat something?

Directly on the beach, more sea does not go: The south beach is the most popular bathing beach of the island with fine sand and monitored by the DLRG. The vacation home is located on the 1st floor with a southeast balcony in the apartment house "Die Strandburg" directly on the fine sandy south beach of the sunny island of Fehmarn. To get bread rolls, you only need to use the elevator. At the bakery in the house, you get everything for your breakfast. There is also an ice cream parlor and a beach store in the house.

Die Wohnung ist gut geschnitten und auch die Ausstattung ist gut. Allerdings ist das Sofa eher unbequem für Menschen, die nicht mindestens 1,80 m groß sind. Da nützen auch die vielen Kissen nicht. Wenn man sich z. B. gemütlich anlehnen möchte, schweben die Füße über dem Boden. Dann die wirklich brettharten Matratzen. Keinerlei erholsamen Schlaf da man am Morgen total verspannt aufwacht. Rücken und Schultern schmerzten, da die Matratzen sich in keiner Weise angepasst haben. Und der Fernseher ließ sich nicht auf eine vernünftige Lautstärke einstellen. Obwohl wir nicht im geringsten Hörprobleme, war der Ton mitunter kaum zu verstehen. Alles in allem haben wir uns überhaupt nicht wohl gefühlt und schon gar nicht erholt. Fazit: Wir kommen nicht wieder

Apartment for feeling good with great service
We were at the South Beach in the Strandburg for the umpteenth time. Apartment No. 50 is perfect for a family. Large living space, very good amenities. You feel immediately comfortable and at home. The location is ideal for the beach, the promenade, and the harbor. We were excellently cared for by the Inselblume team. Booking, apartment handover, and return were handled professionally and kindly. We will gladly come back.

The island flower 50 in August 2023
The apartment and its furnishings are very good and very tasteful. The way to the beach and to the bakery is short and brilliant. A beach chair belonging to the apartment in the first row in front of the beach building would be the icing on the cake. It is also worth mentioning the parking permit that comes with the apartment. For non-dog owners, the cleaning condition and odor nuisance in the kitchen and living area after a dog rental are unacceptable (note the surcharge for dog cleaning). Hair in the carpet and kitchen drawers. Maybe then only with a dog in this apartment.
