Description
In our top modern, single-storey holiday home of 103 m³ there are 2 large bedrooms, a spacious bathroom, a separate guest toilet and a sauna.
The kitchen/living room is modern and furnished to a high standard. Two more guests can sleep comfortably on the sofa bed.
Two terraces overlooking the lake invite you to relax.
2 parking spaces are right by the house. Dogs are allowed for an additional fee.
The house meets current standards for residential houses (triple glazing, thermal insulation) and is therefore well tempered in summer and winter and has low energy consumption. Our house is a smoke-free house.
Casa Cavallo inside
The kitchen is comfortably equipped with dishwasher, large fridge freezer, cooker with oven, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and microwave (branded appliances).
The bright and modern living room with 2 panoramic windows has a large sofa. The 2 comfortable armchairs invite you to read or relax. A TV and a DVD player are part of the equipment. A selection of games, books and DVDs for children and adults can also be found here.
In the hallway, there is an additional wardrobe and a coat rack.
There are 2 well-appointed bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds and a desk), each with a large wardrobe. All windows can be darkened.
The spacious bathroom has a double sink, a ground-level shower, a toilet, a hairdryer and a washing machine, as well as plenty of hooks. The sauna is directly adjacent to the bathroom and is especially popular in winter. A guest toilet is also at your disposal.
The installed infrared heating system quickly provides cosy warmth in every room. The floor is tiled in all rooms.
The garden and outdoor area
The 540 m² property invites relaxing hours by the water with a covered, cool terrace and a west-facing sun terrace. The terrace door has no threshold. The property is fenced and only accessible on the lake side.
The private lakeside jetty with its own rowing boat invites you to go boating on the lake or fishing. This is free and also suitable for beginners, as no fishing licence is required. Swimming in healthy peat water is also fun for young and old.
A Weber kettle barbecue is also available at the house.
In front of the house you will find 2 parking spaces and, from spring onwards, a tie bar for a horse or your bikes.

Our holiday home is located in the beautiful Emsland/Lower Saxony in the town of Twist, right on the Dutch border. 2 hours' drive from Neuss/Düsseldorf! It is attached to a riding and pony farm and is part of a small holiday park at the Neuringer Moorsee.

The house is not barrier-free according to DIN standards, but it has a threshold-free entrance, terrace door, and all rooms are on one level. The shower is flush with the floor, dimensions: 80 cm wide and 1.20 m deep, open at the front (with a grab bar on the wall). On request, we provide a shower stool. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us. The rooms are generously sized. The following is of course free of charge with us:

Top Recreation Vacation
The Casa Cavallo is absolutely recommended. A great and well-equipped holiday home in a fantastic location right by the lake. There is nothing missing there. We had a very nice and relaxing week there.

Wir waren für etwa eine Woche hier, und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Trotz des unterschiedlichen Alters haben wir alle etwas gefunden- von rudern bis Sonnenbaden
Dank der wunderbaren Umgebung konnten wir viel erleben: Moor, Schwimmbad,hervoragendes sowie preiswertiges Essen, aber auch eine kurze Fahrt zum van Gogh Museum in Denthe.
Wir bedanken uns herzlich bei Frau Freese, die mit uns die Übergaben gemacht hat. Sie war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend
Wir können diese Ferienunterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfelen!
Frau Freese ist eine ganz liebe und hilfsbereit.

Es hat an nichts gefehlt, alles super sauber.
Durch die perfekte Lage direkt am See Entspannung pur. Das eingezäunte Grundstück ermöglichte unserem Hund ausgelassenes Herumtoben.
Auch dieses Jahr ein ganz besonderes Lob an Frau Freese, immer erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir kommen wieder!
Kleine Details erinnern an den Hausnamen??
Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll in Farbe und Form und die hohen Decken haben etwas schön Luftiges, Leichtes.
Die überall im Haus angebrachten Fliegengitter an den Fenstern sind ein Segen.
Die überdachte Terrasse mit Blick auf den See lädt bis spät abends zum Verweilen ein.
Der Steg ist wunderbar breit und einladend und wurde von uns ebenfalls gern genutzt um in das Ruderboot zu steigen, schwimmen zu gehen oder einfach nur zu sitzen und zu träumen.
Wir wurden von der zuständigen Facility Managerin anschaulich in die Prozesse im Haus eingewiesen und darüber hinaus erwies sie sich als großer Schatz bei der Bewältigung kleiner und großer Anliegen die wir noch hatten und war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.
Das wird uns in Erinnerung bleiben:))
Wir waren sicher nicht das letzte Mal hier. Mensch und Hund haben sich gleichermaßen wohl gefühlt.
Hier kann man richtig ausspannen. Der See wirkt total beruhigend. In der Nähe gibt es leider keinen Bäcker, aber ein Combi Markt ist nur 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Restaurants gibt es im Ort Twist der auch in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar ist. Fährt man ca. 20 Minuten ist man in Meppen. Die Altstadt ist auch wunderschön.
Der Ponyhof Niers ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Dort durfte unsere Tochter einen tollen Indianer Nachmittag miterleben.
Das Haus ist komplett eingezäunt nur zum See offen. Das hat besonders unserem Hund gefallen, der sich immer gut abkühlen konnte.
Eine Klimaanlage hat das Haus leider nicht.
Zusammenfassend kann man sagen, dass es ein toller Urlaub war und man richtig entspannen konnte. Ausflüge nach Holland sind auch super möglich. Viel haben wir aber nicht unternommen, da wir einfach mal Ruhe wollten.
Das sagt wohl alles. Wir waren 2 Erwachsene und eine Bulldoge , aber haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt. :-)

Wir würden es aufjedenfall weiter empfehlen und werden auch wieder kommen.
Sauberkeit und Ausstattung sind Top.

Sehr gemütlich auch bei Regenwetter! Einkaufs- und Spielmöglichkeiten nihct weit. Das Moormuseum ist sehr zu empfehlen. Im Frühling oder Sommer muss es noch traumhafter hier sein. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
