Description

In our top modern, single-storey holiday home of 103 m³ there are 2 large bedrooms, a spacious bathroom, a separate guest toilet and a sauna.

The kitchen/living room is modern and furnished to a high standard. Two more guests can sleep comfortably on the sofa bed.
Two terraces overlooking the lake invite you to relax.
2 parking spaces are right by the house. Dogs are allowed for an additional fee.
The house meets current standards for residential houses (triple glazing, thermal insulation) and is therefore well tempered in summer and winter and has low energy consumption. Our house is a smoke-free house.

Casa Cavallo inside

The kitchen is comfortably equipped with dishwasher, large fridge freezer, cooker with oven, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and microwave (branded appliances).
The bright and modern living room with 2 panoramic windows has a large sofa. The 2 comfortable armchairs invite you to read or relax. A TV and a DVD player are part of the equipment. A selection of games, books and DVDs for children and adults can also be found here.
In the hallway, there is an additional wardrobe and a coat rack.
There are 2 well-appointed bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds and a desk), each with a large wardrobe. All windows can be darkened.
The spacious bathroom has a double sink, a ground-level shower, a toilet, a hairdryer and a washing machine, as well as plenty of hooks. The sauna is directly adjacent to the bathroom and is especially popular in winter. A guest toilet is also at your disposal.
The installed infrared heating system quickly provides cosy warmth in every room. The floor is tiled in all rooms.

The garden and outdoor area

The 540 m² property invites relaxing hours by the water with a covered, cool terrace and a west-facing sun terrace. The terrace door has no threshold. The property is fenced and only accessible on the lake side.
The private lakeside jetty with its own rowing boat invites you to go boating on the lake or fishing. This is free and also suitable for beginners, as no fishing licence is required. Swimming in healthy peat water is also fun for young and old.
A Weber kettle barbecue is also available at the house.
In front of the house you will find 2 parking spaces and, from spring onwards, a tie bar for a horse or your bikes.

Our holiday home is located in the beautiful Emsland/Lower Saxony in the town of Twist, right on the Dutch border. 2 hours' drive from Neuss/Düsseldorf! It is attached to a riding and pony farm and is part of a small holiday park at the Neuringer Moorsee.

Top Recreation Vacation

The Casa Cavallo is absolutely recommended. A great and well-equipped holiday home in a fantastic location right by the lake. There is nothing missing there. We had a very nice and relaxing week there.

A great experience!

Age: 12, 15, 81 and 82
We were here for about a week, and we really enjoyed it. Despite the different ages, we all found something to do - from rowing to sunbathing.
Thanks to the wonderful surroundings, we were able to experience a lot: moor, swimming pool, excellent and affordable food, as well as a short trip to the van Gogh Museum in Denthe.
We sincerely thank Mrs. Freese, who facilitated the handovers with us. She was very friendly and accommodating.
We can definitely recommend this vacation rental!

Great vacation

It is a beautiful holiday home with all the amenities in a stunning holiday area.

Mrs. Freese is also very nice. She was always there to help us with advice and assistance. You could reach her at any time.

The booking process with Mrs. Kremer was also straightforward and smooth, just as one would wish.

Recreation with a dog

A beautiful house, simply dreamy.
Nothing was missing, everything super clean.
With the perfect location right by the lake, pure relaxation. The fenced property allowed our dog to run around happily.
Also this year, a very special compliment to Mrs. Freese, always available and very helpful. We will come back!

We will come again.

The holiday home Cavallo is furnished with a lot of love and thoughtfulness.
Small details remind of the house name.
The decor is tasteful in color and form, and the high ceilings give a beautifully airy, light feeling.
The insect screens installed on the windows throughout the house are a blessing.
The covered terrace with a view of the lake invites you to linger until late in the evening. The dock is wonderfully wide and inviting, and we also loved using it to get into the rowboat, go swimming, or just sit and dream.
The responsible facility manager gave us a comprehensive introduction to the processes in the house, and in addition, she proved to be a great help in handling both small and large concerns we still had, and was very helpful and friendly. This will stay in our memory:))

We surely weren't here for the last time. Both human and dog felt equally comfortable.

Holiday home Casa Cavallo Twist

We spent a week at Casa Cavallo.
Here you can really relax. The lake is totally calming. Unfortunately, there is no bakery nearby, but a Combi market is only a 5-minute drive away. There are restaurants in the town of Twist, which can also be reached by car in a few minutes. If you drive for about 20 minutes, you will be in Meppen. The old town is also beautiful.

The Ponyhof Niers is a 5-minute walk away. Our daughter got to experience a great Indian afternoon there.

The house is completely fenced, only open to the lake. This especially pleased our dog, who could always cool off well.

Unfortunately, the house does not have air conditioning.

In summary, it was a great vacation and we could really relax. Trips to Holland are also very possible. However, we didn't do much, as we just wanted some peace and quiet.

Great holiday home for relaxing on the Baltic Sea coast

We (4 adults, two children, and a dog) all felt very comfortable in the holiday home. The holiday home is still quite new and very well equipped. Everything necessary is available. The on-site service and introduction were very good and uncomplicated. The outdoor area with two terraces and a paddle boat is fantastic. You can sit by the lake and relax wonderfully. For children, there is a play hall in the immediate vicinity (our 2-year-old daughter clearly enjoyed it), a pony farm, and a really great playground.

Great time out

The house is simply beautiful and equipped with lots of love. Having your own sauna was absolute luxury. My personal highlight was the huge window in the living room with a view of the pier and the lake. I could have just looked out for hours. The kitchen is well equipped, everything you need is already there. The kids also felt very comfortable, fishing (or pretending to fish?). Absolute recommendation!

Relaxed weekend despite the rain!

Wonderful house with lots of comfort and attentive landlords! There is everything for children and parents (books, movies, interesting excursions, sauna, 2 toilets, top kitchen equipment...) and the incredible view of the lake. Everything is clean and cozy, despite the modern ambiance. We liked the individually adjustable infrared heating in every room. We will be back soon!

Pure relaxation

Perfectly equipped house with a dream view! Absolute recommendation!

We were overwhelmed by the house! Beautiful garden, great location on the lake, everything super clean, spacious and equipped as if you were at home.
Very cosy even in rainy weather! Shopping and playing facilities not far away. The Moor Museum is highly recommended. It must be even better in spring or summer. We will definitely be back!
