Welcome to a wonderful fully renovated house with both luxury and soul in Gårdby on Östra Öland. A house with consistently exceptional material choices. You have a wonderful kitchen that is a feast for the eyes where you can prepare fine meals. There is a built-in oven, microwave, hob and dishwasher of the finest quality. There is also a wood stove to burn in (wood included). Adjacent to the kitchen, there is one dining room with a wonderfully beautiful dining area with a large dining table and chairs. There is a living room with sofa and TV where there is also a dining table. The sofa is a sofa bed that can be made into a bed for 2 people. There are two bedrooms, one with a new double bed. The second smaller bedroom, which is accessed via the bedroom with the double bed, has a new bunk bed for two people. The house has two luxurious bathrooms with toilet, shower and sink. There is also a bathtub in the larger bathroom, which can be reached both from the hall and the master bedroom. You have a newly built nice balcony with outdoor furniture where you can enjoy. The house is disabled-friendly with lower thresholds. Not rented out to youth groups. Not allowed to charge electric cars Smoking not allowed Here you live in the countryside with nice views over the fields and with the World Heritage Site Alvaret just beyond the fields. A nice hiking trail is nearby if you want to enjoy the rich plant and animal life. Here you can see the first orchids of spring. The Sverigeleden also attracts many cyclists. Gårdby Kaf'e & Lanthandel with its popular garden cafe and its well-stocked country store with delicacies is a popular destination. Gråborg is Öland's largest known ancient castle, which is usually popular with its fine hiking trail. You have nice swimming with a wonderful long shallow sandy beach in Bläsinge, where there is also a restaurant and sale of fresh fish. If you just want to take a dip, there is also Gårdby Hamn with a bathing jetty nearby. In Färjestaden there are plenty of fine restaurants, ice cream cafés and bathing areas. Borgholm is also usually a popular destination to stroll around if you want a slightly larger selection. Borgholm Castle Ruins is also here, which is well worth a visit. For the children, Öland Djurpark is usually popular with its animals, amusement park and water park.

A beautiful place for a family vacation! The space was large enough for six of us, and the two bathrooms were a real plus. We enjoyed our hikes nearby, especially around Alvaret.

A wonderful experience overall! The garden was perfect for the children to play, and we enjoyed our time exploring the nearby ancient sites like Gråborg.

Great location, close to hiking trails and the beach. The house was modern and well-equipped. We felt at home right away and would definitely come back!
