Unfortunately, like everywhere else, the small grocery shops had to give way to discounters.
If you don't live close to them, you always need a car to go shopping nowadays.
You can get to the discounter Globus 4.5 km (7 minutes) from the FW in St. Wendel,
Lidl, Aldi 4.2 km (6 minutes) KIK, Deichmann, Dm etc
or in Bliesen at Netto, these department stores are all within a radius of 3.5 to 5 km
