The apartment is spacious, clean, largely well-equipped, but shows some signs of wear (balcony furniture, awning, stool in the living room). It is located on the 4th floor without an elevator. It has a separate parking space directly in front of the apartment. The Wi-Fi works well. The television has a very good picture. The kitchen does not have a dishwasher and basic utensils such as a minimum stock of spices or dish soap, coffee powder, kitchen roll, dish brush, sponge are missing or are not included in the price. The bathroom only has a shower with a foldable partition and a high entry. There was no soap dispenser and no bar of soap and also no second roll of toilet paper. The handle to open/close the bathroom window is only difficult to reach with a step ladder. The window handle in the bedroom is the same. The beds and mattresses were comfortable and cozy. The balcony is high and quiet, but primarily faces the opposite apartments at the back. The seating furniture on the balcony is okay, but shows signs of use and is rather low for eating. The apartment is close to the beach and the swimming pool; a large Edeka market with a bakery and a few restaurants are within walking distance in a few minutes. However, the footpath to the harbor of Niendorf and the shops/restaurants there is far (about 30 minutes). The additional costs for the apartment and its brokerage (service fee, commission, extra charge for bed linen, towels, and household package (among others) Dishwasher tablets - although no dishwasher is available) are, in our opinion, clearly too high. Overall, we would not book the apartment again at our price including additional costs in the pre-season (approx. 550.00 EUR for 3 nights).
