The spacious holiday apartment "Löwenzahn" is the ideal place to spend an unforgettable holiday. The Bavarian country house is situated in a beautiful, quiet location at the foot of the Zugspitze. The adventure can begin.

The holiday apartment "Löwenzahn" extends over two floors and offers plenty of space for 2-3 people. Here you can relax and unwind. In the ground floor of the country house there is a spacious living kitchen, which is equipped with a rustic wooden kitchen. There is also a large sofa, a television, a large table and a corner bench, which invites you to eat together. From here you reach the west terrace where you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Zugspitze. The terrace is equipped with high-quality terrace furniture. A stair leads to the bright and cozy bedroom with a large double bed and wardrobe. There is also another room and a separate WC on the first floor.

Fantastic view over Germany´s highest mountain
The holiday apartment "Löwenzahn" captivates with its unique view of Germany´s highest mountain - the Zugspitze. Grainau is the perfect holiday resort for mountain lovers both in summer and winter. All around there are beautiful hiking trails as well as the wonderful skiing area Kreuzeck/ Haubsberg and of course the skiing area Zugspitze. It is also only a few minutes walk to the bus stop and to some restaurants and shopping possibilities.

Own wellness area invites you to relax
A further highlight of this country house in Grainau is the in-house “Zirbentherme” with infrared light, which is in the basement and which you can use free of charge. Here you can relax after an exciting day in the mountains.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit Infrarotsauna ,die wir auch ausgiebig genutzt haben. Sauber und freundlich eingerichtet. Mit kleiner Terrasse, wo man gemütlich sitzt und der Hund auch raus kann. (Ist zwar eingezäunt, aber der Hund kann in den Nachbargarten laufen) Für uns ok, da der Hund nicht von uns weggeht. Kleines Minus - kein Backofen vorhanden und man muss den Schlüssel holen und bringen.

Gemütlich eingerichtete, funktionale Ferienwohnung in sehr guter Lage. Die Betreuung durch das Mahr-Team war sehr gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Perfect apartment for a little break. We immediately felt at home in the lovingly furnished apartment and will definitely come back. The kitchen was well equipped, and as a bonus, there was a cozy cedar sauna in the basement (we completely overlooked that when booking). The location is also dreamy, with a view of the Zugspitze, and numerous restaurants and shops for daily needs are easily accessible on foot. The entire process was very well explained and organized, so that arriving and departing on holidays or weekends is not a problem. A little note for people with mobility impairments: it is not very suitable, as the stairs to the sleeping areas in the basement are steep and too narrow.

The apartment Dandelion is, on the whole, a nice apartment. However, there are some things that can or need to be improved. For the price we paid, one can expect that more than 1 champagne glass and 1 beer glass are available. The issue of cleanliness is still a concern. Coffee powder residue on the shelf, toilet brush in the upper bathroom unusable as it is completely dirty. The windows of the patio door are very dirty, and the lawn in the garden has not been mowed for several weeks. In the end, one more note... what we found very displeasing was that we had to pick up and return the key in Garmisch. That's actually not good service, having to drive through Garmisch twice. Nevertheless, we spent a nice week in the apartment and hope that our criticism serves as a suggestion for change. Best regards.
