Dream vacation in a quiet location
The house is beautifully situated. We were able to spend relaxing days with our animals, explored the surroundings and also the beaches. Weather-wise, we experienced both sunshine and rain. The house is very quiet, and one could think they are far away from civilization to enjoy the peace. However, supermarkets, the nearest larger town, or smaller places can be quickly reached and are not really far away. By car, it's just a short hop. The house is very well equipped with everything you need. Heating was possible with the fireplace on colder evenings and was totally cozy. We lacked nothing, and it was never boring. Whether grilling, having a campfire, hiking, sitting by the river with our feet dangling, enjoying the rough wind on the beach... The nature is simply untouched and picturesque.
The landlords were always reachable and responded promptly. It was a very friendly contact from start to finish, just as one would wish from all people. Information was sent to us beforehand, clearly and understandably, along with tips for activities. It was thus a breeze to find our way around on site.
I definitely recommend this place further.

Spacious, very well-maintained vacation house
We really liked the Krokan Hus. The rooms are spacious and cozy. The winter garden was especially a highlight. The equipment, especially in the kitchen, is very good! One should just know that the river is not directly on the property. You have to go over a road and a meadow. We had not made that clear to ourselves before. The location by the river and the "own" shoreline are therefore, in our opinion, rather secondary. The property is still very nice and you have a great view of the forest. However, one of the neighboring houses is within sight. All in all, a very nice vacation despite very bad weather!

Beautifully situated oasis of calm.
A beautiful holiday home situated directly in the forest, in a quiet location, and very cozy. We were there with our dog and enjoyed the peace in nature. The lower and upper houses on the property were not occupied, so we were completely alone there. The house is furnished very comfortably. The landlords answered questions very quickly. Everything went smoothly. There is a road within sight, but only about 10 cars pass by during the day. There are many destinations to reach by car within about 30 km, such as cities like Halmstad, various long beautiful beaches on the coast, and numerous lakes and nature reserves. So, a wonderful place to relax from everyday life. We can recommend it without reservation, both for families with children and/or dogs or alone. We would love to come back.
