The bungalow is a detached, charming holiday cottage connected to a carport. Cozy and sheltered garden facing south.
The living room has a spacious, modern kitchen with a dining area. The living room sofa can be pulled out, providing space for two additional sleeping options.
On the ground floor is a small, modern bathroom with a shower and toilet.
In the living room, a steep staircase leads to the upper floor. Here there are two bedrooms. The larger bedroom has a double bed with two mattresses. The small room has a narrow double bed.
There is a nice children's playground with swings, a badminton court, and a small soccer field in the bungalow park. Nearby is a diving site with equipment such as compressed air filling, etc.
The nearest supermarket is about 500 m away. It is very popular for its fresh crispy rolls and good selection of fresh products.
Behind the approximately 100 m2 garden is a small creek. At the dam 400 m away, a smaller sandy beach has been created, which is popular with families with small children due to its sheltered location. Right next door is a very good restaurant with a sea view; here you can also drink coffee or have snacks during the day, and in the evening, you can have a very good meal.
One can take a very nice walk of about 30 - 40 minutes on the dam to the old fishing village of Brouwershaven. The old port is lined with very well-maintained narrow houses from the 17th century. Some restaurants and shops are located here.
From the dam in the opposite direction is the resort town of Scharendijke, about 3.5 km away.
Here begins the over 20 kilometers long bright, fine-grained sandy beach that stretches almost halfway around the island. Throughout the route, there are numerous paths that lead through the dunes, at the end of which there are parking opportunities. Even in the peak season, very nice quiet beach areas can be found. However, one should bring provisions, as there are no beach restaurants at these locations.
