Description
Imagine you are surrounded by lush green meadows and fields. You have come to this place via Dommitzsch on a cobbled road, past the farms, goats, horses ... And then you see our white house, overgrown with green vines. The children are playing in the meadow, romping in the garden, digging in the sandpit and swinging. The smell of delicious cakes wafts from the kitchen in the house, while the grown-ups forget the time. Our Bullerbü is located in a little village between the Elbe and the Dübener Heide or between Torgau and Wittenberg. You can also be in Leipzig in an hour.
It is a wonderfully sunny, quiet and cosy place on the southern slope of a small terminal moraine between the Dübener Heide and the wide Elbe valley. There are chickens, sheep, horses, many cats, red deer in the village and you can walk for hours directly from the edge of the village in the Dübener Heide, across the fields bordering directly on the house or along the Elbe, 3 km away.
From the house you have a beautiful view into the garden. The nearby Elbe cycle path offers many opportunities for leisure activities. Easy cycling tours on well-maintained paths and roads without notable inclines can be undertaken directly from the house. After a 10-minute walk, you can reach the natural forest swimming pool behind the village. It is an idyllically situated bathing lake and surrounded by forest and nature.
We have let ourselves be guided in the furnishings and equipment by the needs of big and small people and have brought in as much as possible of what we ourselves want from accommodation. Our children called the house and garden our Bullerbü when they saw it for the first time, in memory of the much-loved books and because it was very close to their ideas of that time. We have kept it that way
Up to 15 people can live here comfortably.
Our house was extensively renovated from 2014-2018 and is nestled between fields and meadows. On the ground floor there is a large dining area with adjoining living area, an open kitchen as well as two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms and a small lounging area. The bathrooms have underfloor heating, one bathroom has an open shower. A sauna invites you to sweat on cold days. An approx. 2000 sqm garden invites you to explore; because something is always in bloom. You can relax, play, barbecue, make a fire... Many herbs, which grow especially in the kitchen garden, or also fruits, like our wine, at the house can be nibbled and snipped with pleasure.
The house is well suited for couples, but especially for larger groups such as hiking groups, wellness holidaymakers, city travellers, trade fair visitors, family reunions, year-end retreats, project work, company meetings, summer holidays, short trips, relaxing - and often the combination is appealing.
Not only in summer, but also at all other times of the year, the immediate surroundings have their own special charm. A quiet autumn day in the forest, a winter evening in the sauna, a spring hike along the blossoming pear trees on the way to Dommitzsch or a summer windmill ride to the Elbe are our city escapes
Our diverse experiences with holiday flats inspired us in the furnishing of the house. It was important to us to furnish the house with simple, functional new and, where possible, wooden furniture and to equip it with everything that is important for a successful holiday with or without children, in small or large groups, for young and old. And if something is missing, we will provide it.
A group with a total of 16 children and adults aged 1-60 tested the house and garden for several days, prepared 4 meals a day for everyone, baked cakes and, in unanimous agreement, found everything they needed except thermos flasks and a rolling pin. We have since added to that.
Each room is equipped with mosquito screens on at least one window sash. All windows can be darkened really well with roller shutters or interior blinds. Sockets, cupboard doors and the stairs to the attic are child-proof. Smoke detectors are installed in all living rooms and bedrooms.
Night lights and cordless bedside lamps are provided in each bedroom and at various points in the hallways. We have paid attention to allergy-free materials when choosing mattresses and duvets and pillows. The 4-season duvets can be arranged according to your own feeling of warmth. The mattress protectors are cleaned after each use. An additional children's travel bed and lunge protectors are available.
For workshops, a beamer, screen, presentation wall, flipchart paper and a presentation case can be borrowed; please ask us.

Beautiful holiday home in a quiet location
The holiday home offers everything to escape everyday stress. We had a great friends' weekend with 8 adults and 5 children. There was enough space for everyone and everything needed was available! The garden was of course a highlight, and the large table in the living/dining room with an adjoining playroom is ideal for larger groups with kids. Hikes can be started from the house, so the car can also stay put (many parking spaces available on the property). Here you can see the love for detail and the joy of renting. Thank you dear family Lies! We will definitely come back!

Those seeking peace are exactly right here; there is a beautiful forest pool nearby ??… the house is 5 stars plus. Everything has been thought out down to the smallest detail. There is nothing we missed, very high standard. The garden ? crowns it all.

Always a great time!
We have already been here for the third time, as it is a wonderful place for our family gatherings. Spacious house, wonderfully large garden, great amenities, everything lovingly maintained, with super helpful and quick-reacting hosts. We feel like the comparison to Bullerbü was made. <3

Always beautiful
We have now been to this beautiful house several times in different seasons, and it is always nice there. The first time, we were surprised by the price in comparison, but it is listed for 8 people. Everything is provided for a wonderful time together: a perfectly equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, a large dining table, Wi-Fi in all rooms, and even a hammock for the garden. Each time, there is something new to discover. We are already looking forward to the garden house that is being renovated for Elberadler. Thank you very much for the wonderful time; we will definitely come back.
