Arrival by car: Highway A9 (towards Toulouse, Nimes) Exit No. 22 (Roquemaure) then towards Avignon les Angles, after 12 km at the roundabout (Les Angles) take the direction to Avignon, after 2 km turn right towards Aramon. After 10 km towards Boulbon over the Rhone Bridge, then turn right, 4 more km on D35.
From Avignon towards Nimes, Aramon, Boulbon.
From Aix-en-Provence towards Arles, Tarascon, Boulbon. By Plane: Marseille Provence Airport, located 80 km from Boulbon, receives direct flights from various German cities. From there, you can take a bus to Arles (about 1 hour). Alternatively, a shuttle bus, which runs about every 10 minutes, will take you directly to the train station, where you can catch a train to Arles (also about 1 hour).
By Train: There are direct trains from Germany to Avignon TGV. Depending on when you arrive, we would be happy to pick you up from the train station, which is about 15 minutes away from us, for a transport cost allowance.
A few words about the village: BOULBON Its territory is divided into the plain with its cherry, apricot, peach, and nectarine plantations and the chain of hills that forms the protected mountain massif Montagnette. This results in very beautiful landscapes every season. The traditional festivals shape village life, which take place in the months of June, August, and September, and are very important for the residents. It is an opportunity to enjoy the large communal meals under the plane trees and admire the beauty of the Arles costume, which constitute the very special atmosphere and the richness of Provençal culture. In July, the Avignon Theatre Festival offers a performance in the stunning grounds of the former Boulbon quarry. Throughout the summer, concerts and events are held on the terrace of the castle, in its green theater, or in the village.
After the summer months, Boulbon is less active but still a lively village. It remains the central point from which one can explore the entire region: from the Camargue to the Luberon, from Pic Saint-Loup to Mont Ventoux.

A Perfect Provençal Escape
We had such a wonderfully relaxing week at Haus Jollion in Boulbon. It’s rare to find a place that feels so much like a home rather than a rental—you can immediately tell that Ingo and Veronique have put so much effort and affection into every corner that one feels welcome the moment you step in.
Our stay happened to coincide with a local festival, which gave the village such a vibrant atmosphere, and we had some truly memorable meals at the local restaurants. The location is also fantastic—it’s quite easy to pop over to Arles or Avignon for the day, and we even managed a beautiful trip out to the Camargue.
Between the creative art classes with Ingo and quiet, refreshing afternoons by the pool, it was the perfect Provençal escape. Thank you both for such a wonderful experience; we are already planning our return—I still have a "masterpiece" to finish, after all!

Amazing stay, arty & beautiful
We stayed in Bolboun for a week and had a great time. The house is very nice and you can see how much love they put into it with all the little details.
We also joined some art courses with Ingo and learned a lot of new skills with pastel colours.
There are a lot of nice restaurants, bakery and supermarket within walking distance.
Absolute highlights are the pool, the art studio and the beautiful medieval village.
100% percent recommend it!!

Summer Breeze in Boulbon
My holiday in Boulbon felt like stepping into a parallel universe. The inspiring art classes, the gentle summer breeze carrying the scent of rosemary and thyme from the mountains of Provence, and the peaceful atmosphere created an unforgettable experience. Every evening, I enjoyed delicious meals at the village's wonderful restaurants, accompanied by exceptional local wines. Boulbon is one of those rare places where time seems to slow down, allowing you to fully appreciate the beauty, flavors, and charm of Provence.

Very beautiful house

A feel-good oasis
This year we were already for the second time in the beautiful house Jollion. It is lovingly and tastefully furnished, with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday. You immediately feel at home, as the interior has a warm, cozy atmosphere. The landlords are very friendly people, whom you can contact anytime if you have something on your mind. The landscape is very beautiful and there are also diverse cultural offerings - not only in the immediate vicinity. There is also a small supermarket, a bakery, and a butcher, as well as appealing restaurants/bars directly in Boulbon. We are already looking forward to our vacation there next year.

We have designed the restoration of the Maison Jollion -combining the modern and the traditional- to welcome our guests in the most pleasant and cozy place possible. In parallel, we enthusiastically offer rentals to people who simply want to discover or rediscover Provence, both for the beauty of its landscapes and for its cultural richness. Boulbon, just a few kilometers from cities such as Avignon or Arles and on the edge of the magnificent nature reserve "Montagnette" is the best place for it. Not to mention the average of 300 days of sunshine per year!
