Description

Roof terrace apartment in Torri del Benaco, Localita Pai

Here is a small description of the apartment used by our family, which was renovated according to a new building.
Area 185 sqm incl. balcony and terrace
3 bedrooms with large built-in wardrobes
2 bathrooms with large shower, rainshower, storage space, master bathroom with bidet and double sink and Miele washing machine.
Open kitchen with Miele appliances (oven, gas hob, dishwasher), fridge-freezer, coffee machine, Nespresso espresso machine, toaster, kettle.
To the sea side on 14 meters length floor-to-ceiling windows with balcony. To the mountain side view of olive groves and the village of Pai Sopra.
High quality furnishings, Knoll sofa set, designer lamps, hotel beds 4 star hotel standard, measuring 200x200 cm (bedrooms 1 and 3) and 180x200 in bedroom 2. Air conditioning for the rooms facing the lake (south/west facing with evening sun)
Flooring travertine 60x60 cm, to the mountain side curtains and shutters. To the lake side curtains.
For balcony and roof terrace is a seating group for 4 people with table (balcony) and for the terrace additionally a table with 8 chairs and a total of 4 loungers available. Oversized parasol for the roof terrace.
Gas detectors for kitchen and bathroom (there are the consumers)
Individually controlled gas boiler for central heating
Suspended ceilings in kitchen, hallways and bathrooms with integrated LED lighting.
Large Internet-capable television in the living area
Big advantage on the lake: oversized garage (Smart and a mid-size car fit inside) plus a parking space in front of the garage. The gate to the property opens electrically.
The apartment is on the 2nd floor, no elevator.
The garden is for common use and has a charcoal grill.
The kitchen is equipped with enough knives, cutlery, crockery, pots, coffee and espresso cups, champagne and wine glasses etc. (All purchased in 2022).

For swimming you only have to cross the street. There are beaches to the left and right of the property. The most beautiful beaches are 2-5 km away in the direction of Torri del Benaco or Brenzone/Malcesine. But you can also leave the fenced property in the morning after getting up, walk across the street and go directly into the water or over a bathing ladder into the water!
Within walking distance you will find 3 restaurants with indoor dining and tables directly on the lake. For mountain hikes and mountain bike tours the hinterland, Pai Sopra, Crero to Monte Baldo etc. is ideal. The construction of a bike path along the lake is still under construction.

Depending on the time of arrival we recommend either to use the highway A 22 until the exit Affi (then continue via Albare, Costermano, Torri del Benaco) or in the early morning hours or late in the evening the particularly beautiful approach via the A22 until Casello die Rovereto, Mori, Torbole, Malcesine to Torri (Pai). In the summer months it is advisable to travel via Affi if you arrive between 09:00 and 19:00. Freeway toll from Brenner 15,60 EUR (Affi) otherwise 12 EUR to Casello di Rovereto.

In 2023 the apartment will be rented only for max. 6 weeks. The remaining weeks are used by our family

No pets! Smoking only on the balcony! No parties! No youth groups! And of course no bachelor parties!!!

Only from about the middle of August there will be internet. The previous provider had constant system failures, last week a new contract was signed.

Location and surroundings of object

Our penthouse apartment is located in Torri del Benaco, Ortsteil Pai, 200 meters from the lake. Restaurants and beaches in the immediate vicinity.
Excursion destinations such as Monte Baldo, Verona, Sirmione, Bardolino, Garda can be reached in 15 to 45 minutes. From Torri del Benaco there is a ferry that runs at regular intervals to the other side of the lake to Toscolano. This means that destinations on the other side of the lake can also be reached quickly.

additional information about rental price:

Utilities such as bed linen, towels for the bathrooms (not for the lake, you have to bring them yourself), gas (cooking and heating/hot water) are included in the cost. Electricity costs are also included with 60 KW/h per week. If the 60 KW/h per week are exceeded the electricity costs will be calculated with the actual consumption. The electricity prices in Italy have doubled, if the air conditioner runs many hours a day you will not get there with the 60 KW/H in summer. However, the air conditioning system is brand new and not an electricity guzzler.

Cancellation terms:

Flexibility in dynamic times - here are our current flexible cancellation conditions: If a highest-level travel warning is issued for our region at the time of your planned departure, or if you are not allowed to leave your region due to lockdown conditions, you may cancel your vacation up to one week before departure without incurring any cancellation fees. The deposit will then be either refunded or, according to your preference, used for a new date to be agreed upon.

additional information:

In the apartment you will find on arrival tips for excursions, restaurants, beaches, walks, etc.. Depending on the arrival time you will be received in the apartment or you can pick up the key in Garda.
If you arrive via the Affi freeway exit, we recommend that you plan to do some shopping at the Grand Affi shopping center. There you will find not only a very well-stocked and very large supermarket with good organic and fish offer but also various specialty stores and an OBI hardware store - which also has bicycle spare parts and accessories on offer.

Beautiful time out with family and friends

Spacious, modern, and tastefully furnished apartment. Perfect support from the host before and during the stay.

Dreamy view of the lake from the balcony and rooftop terrace. Floor-to-ceiling windows, beautiful bathrooms, great beds, designer furniture, and the perfect location rounded off the vacation.

Both cars fit in the large single garage. In short, perfect, especially since the price/performance ratio for this apartment is really right.

Family vacation

Our expectations were exceeded. Even beforehand, we had great contact with the host. Whether it was about the arrival or the stay - he was always reachable and gave good tips. The apartment is super clean, well laid out, and offers plenty of space for the whole family. When the internet didn't work, Mr. Strohdeicher immediately organized an appointment with a technician from Eolo. Small suggestion: trash cans in both bathrooms.

Eine tolle Wohnung

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche, die Wohnung ist wunderschön möbliert, in der Wohnung hat es an nichts gefehlt. Morgens sind wir im Gardasee schwimmen gewesen und haben danach Brötchen aus dem Minimarkt mitgebracht; es gibt gute fußläufige Restaurants, so daß das Auto abends in der Garage bleiben kann. Der Blick von der Dachterrasse und dem Balkon ist ein Traum.

A perfect vacation

We were a family of four on-site for a week. The apartment is modern and stylishly furnished with designer furniture. Very good beds; we rarely slept so well on vacation. Upon arrival, we were personally welcomed by the host. Cold drinks and a Prosecco in the fridge; very nice! The vacation tips for shopping, restaurants, and excursions were very helpful. The hosts were also always reachable for questions during our stay. The apartment was perfectly cleaned, with plenty of storage space for luggage in the hallway and bedrooms. The garage was big enough for a car and motorcycle. Good internet. The view of the lake and the sunset is fantastic. Floor-to-ceiling windows, rooftop terrace - everything was perfect. And in the morning, only 300 meters to the swimming ladder into the lake! ! ! !

Perfect accommodation!

We arrived with our three children and met Mr. Strohdeicher as a very courteous host. He provided us in advance with very extensive information about the holiday destination, excursions and shopping opportunities as well as good restaurants in the area. A big compliment for this! The apartment is very modern and stylishly furnished. We felt very comfortable here and enjoyed the view of Lake Garda. It was very clean and the handovers were smooth. The spacious garage offered plenty of space for cars and beach gear. The apartment is a great starting point for mountain hikes with fantastic views of the lake and the adventurous exploration of the partially narrow, rocky paths uphill and downhill has greatly pleased the children and sparked their imagination. We can only recommend the accommodation and will gladly come back.

Dreamy vacation accommodation that leaves nothing to be desired!

After a long journey, we reached the apartment, which we found not only in impeccably cleaned condition, but also with many small and heartfelt surprises (cold mineral water, Nespresso capsules and even a chilled, excellent Franciacorta!!).
The apartment is extremely tastefully furnished and equipped with spacious, bright bathrooms. The furniture invited us to linger, so instead of going out for dinner in the evenings, we sometimes just let the day come to an end on the rooftop terrace and watched the sunset from there.
The apartment is wonderfully located; for morning swimming, you only have to cross the street and you're already at the lake.
At the beginning of our vacation, the landlord gave us very good tips for shopping, excursions, and restaurants; furthermore, on his recommendation, we rented 2 Vespas, which completed our Italian vacation.
We will be back!

Great accommodation

No edited photos, the apartment is as shown in the pictures.
Unique view with sunset from the rooftop terrace and balcony.
Apartment tastefully furnished with classic furniture. Perfect beds.
Kitchen fully equipped.
Great bathrooms, especially the showers. Everything very clean.
The owner was always available and provided us with some good tips.
We enjoyed the restaurants in the area (Taverna Kuss, Loncrino, Miralago).
Venice, Verona, and the many picturesque villages along the lakeside road were a highlight.
One day we rented a motorboat. Highly recommended.
For shopping, we went to Garda (Di Piu or Famila) or Brenzone. In Torri del Benaco itself, there are no perfectly stocked supermarkets, but the small fruit and vegetable shops, butchers, and bakeries are good.

Small suggestion for improvement:
The internet could be faster and a carpet would be nice in the seating area. 2 additional sun loungers for the rooftop terrace would be nice.

In 2021 we started to completely redesign our penthouse apartment. In July 2022 the furnishing was also complete. We enjoy our stays at Lake Garda and have now decided to rent the apartment every year for 6-8 weeks because we can not yet plan a long-term vacation due to work. We love Lake Garda which is just under 4 hours away for us, the scenery is perfect for biking, motorcycling or hiking. We are sure you will like it as well.
