Our apartment in Torri del Benaco / Albisano

We rent our self-occupied vacation apartment in Torri del Benaco, district Albisano for a maximum of 8 weeks per year.
Torri del Benaco is located directly on the lake shore, the district Albisano is a small very original village with 4 restaurants, ice cream parlor, espresso bar and a small corner store.
As the crow flies it is 2 km to the lake, 4 km to Garda on well maintained roads and 4 km to the beach of Torri del Benaco
The apartment is located in the small residential complex Terrazza in Albisano . From the end of April to the end of September there are 2 pools and a jacuzzi available.
The apartment has a nice living/kitchen area, 2 bedrooms (1 x double bed 180 x 200 cm and 2 single beds 190x80 in the other bedroom). Both bedrooms are connected by a balcony door with the terrace belonging to the apartment with morning sun.
The living/kitchen area has access to the west-facing garden used only by our apartment through a large window front.
Maximum occupancy is 4 persons. No pets. Smoking only in the garden. No party!
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, gas hob, oven and fridge-freezer. A coffee maker as well as an additional Nespresso coffee maker; kettle and toaster are also available. Pots, dishes and cutlery were purchased new this year. Wi-Fi, television and washing machine are also available. For especially hot days in the summer months there is air conditioning (sleeping area)
The apartment is furnished to a high standard, box spring double bed, high quality mattresses, Knoll leather sofa, a small work area in the Master Bedroom and a large garage with a ceiling height of 2.25 and a length of 7 meters. Therefore, in addition to the car, bicycles, strollers and roof boxes can be safely stored. From the underground garage, in addition to the driveway further away, there is a staircase that ends 25 meters in front of the apartment, ideal for loading and unloading.
The apartment key will be handed over to you either in Munich or directly on site
The apartment is rented only by the week from Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday, bed linen and towels are provided. Towels for pool and lake have to be brought by yourself
On arrival you will find in the apartment some washing powder, 2 taps for the dishwasher and mineral water. In the apartment you will find tips for the beach, excursions, shopping, hiking, mountain biking and restaurants.
Bookings for 2024 are possible only from October 2023 onwards

The prices refer to an occupancy with 4 persons (maximum occupancy) including W-LAN, electricity, water, heating and a one-time set of bed linen, towels, dishcloths.

If you are arriving via the A22 freeway, it is recommended to take the Affi exit.
The nearest airport is Verona.

A perfect vacation
We enjoyed our vacation very much. The apartment is bright, beautifully furnished, and perfectly equipped. Good beds! We often had the pool to ourselves. A nice landlady who supported us with great tips for excursions, restaurants, etc. Grocery store and restaurants are within walking distance. We will come back.

A perfect vacation
We were very happy to spend 14 days in the apartment for the second time and enjoyed the time and the great location in Albisano very much.
The apartment's amenities are top-notch - super mattress, good air conditioning, excellent kitchen equipment, and a spacious bathroom.
Additionally, there are super nice landlords who personally welcomed us on both vacations.
It was also great that the newly acquired key safe gave us the opportunity to leave very early in the morning while still being able to securely lock the apartment. In case of questions or problems (if there are any), the landlords can be easily and quickly reached via WhatsApp. Generally, communication is very good as they are German landlords - thus no communication problems. We hope we were not the last time in this beautiful and quiet apartment.

Dream vacation in Albisano
We had a dream vacation in Mrs. Schön's holiday apartment.
Mrs. Schön is a top host. We received continuous information about excursions, restaurants, and tips for the apartment before the trip.
On the day of arrival, we had a warm welcome for the key handover by Mrs. Schön's husband. The impeccably clean holiday apartment was a dream: great spacious kitchen, beautiful terraces, a super comfortable bed (rarely slept so well on vacation), cozily furnished with everything you need. A garage space in the underground garage and wonderful outdoor pools with a view of Lake Garda rounded it all off. The apartment was located in a very nice and quiet residential complex. We had the pools all to ourselves. Albisano was a cozy little spot with comfortable restaurants and was very easily accessible on foot.
We were lucky to meet our friendly host in person. The encounter was so warm, we were really happy about her visit.
This vacation will remain in our memory in a very special way, and we would love to come back.

A perfect vacation
We got to know Mrs. Schön as a perfect host. Before our arrival, we received extensive information about Torri del Benaco and the surrounding area, good restaurant and shopping recommendations, as well as detailed tips for excursions – compliments. The apartment was perfectly cleaned, and we greatly appreciated the personal handover. Albisano is a perfect starting point to explore Lake Garda and the beautiful landscape. Albisano has remained a lovely Italian village without mass tourism. We greatly appreciated that. Plus point: garage and pool.

Great holiday apartment, for a perfect vacation!
Simply move in and feel at home!
We had a wonderful and relaxing vacation in the very well-appointed and very clean apartment in Albisano.
There was nothing missing (the beds really have to be mentioned separately, as we rarely slept so well on a vacation).
The two pools (which we had to ourselves) were also very well-maintained.
Albisano was enchanting, you could easily walk to the town center with its beautiful market square from the apartment, or you could stay in the apartment's garden and enjoy a cozy evening.
Special thanks go to our hosts.
They were always reachable and gave us great suggestions for excursions and restaurant visits.
We will definitely come back!

Wir kommen wieder
Ausstattung der Wohnung ist top - super Matratze, eine gute Klima, prima Küchenausstattung und ein großzügiges Bad.
Dazu kommen super nette Vermieter die uns in beiden Urlauben persönlich empfangen haben.
Prima war auch der neu angeschaffte Schlüsselsafe der uns die Möglichkeit gab schon sehr früh morgens abzureisen und dennoch die Wohnung ordentlich zu verschließen. Bei Fragen oder Problemen ( wenn es welche geben würde) sind die Vermieter gut und schnell über whatsapp zu erreichen. Generell ist die Kommunikation sehr gut da es deutsche Vermieter sind - somit keine Verständigungsprobleme. Wir hoffen, wir waren nicht das letzte mal in dieser schönen und ruhigen Wohnung.
Frau Schön ist eine Top- Gastgeberin. Wir bekamen vor der Reise laufend Informationen über Ausflüge, Restaurants und Hinweise zur Wohnung.
Am Anreisetag hatten wir einen herzlichen Empfang zur Schlüsselübergabe durch den Ehemann von Frau Schön.
Die blitzsaubere Ferienwohnung war ein Traum: tolle geräumige Küche, schöne Terrassen, ein super bequemes Bett (selten so gut geschlafen im Urlaub), gemütlich eingerichtet mit allem was man benötigt. Ein Garagenplatz in der Tiefgarage und wunderbare Außenpools mit Blick auf den Gardasee rundeten das Ganze ab.
Die Wohnung lag in einer sehr schönen und ruhigen Wohnanlage. Die Pools hatten wir ganz für uns allein. Albisano war ein gemütliches kleines Fleckchen mit gemütlichen Restaurants und war zu Fuß sehr gut erreichbar.
Wir hatten das Glück, unsere sympathische Gastgeberin noch persönlich kennenzulernen. Die Begegnung war so herzlich, wir haben uns über ihren Besuch total gefreut.
Dieser Urlaub wird uns in ganz besonderer Erinnerung bleiben und wir kommen sehr gern wieder.
Wir hatten einen wunderbaren erholsamen Urlaub in der sehr gut eingerichteten und sehr sauberen Ferienwohnung in Albisano.
Es fehlte an nichts ( die Betten müssen wirklich extra erwähnt werden, haben selten in einem Urlaub so gut geschlafen).
Auch die beiden Pools ( die wir für uns alleine hatten) waren sehr gepflegt.
Albisano war zauberhaft, man konnte von der Wohnung aus den Ortskern mit seinem schönen Marktplatz gut zu Fuß erreichen, oder man verweilte im Garten der Wohnung und verbrachte einen gemütlichen Abend.
Besonderen Dank geht an unsere Gastgeber.
Sie waren immer erreichbar und gaben uns tolle Anregungen für Ausflüge und Restaurantbesuche.

Sozusagen der Vorort von Torri del Benaco. Durch seine höhere Lage hat man einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Gardasee .
In Albisano gibt es ,fußläufig erreichbar , einen kleinen Laden, eine Eisdiele und mehrere Pizzerien. Die "la travernette" fanden wir persönlich unschlagbar.
Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war von Anfang an fantastisch. Sie gab uns bereits im Vorfeld wertvolle Informationen und Tipps bezüglich Einkauf, Restaurants und Ausflüge.
Auch während unseres Aufenthaltes war sie für uns erreichbar.
Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, die Küche gut ausgestattet, die Betten waren gemütlich weich. Zur Begrüßung fanden wir im Kühlschrank Wasser, selbstgemachte leckere Marmelade und eine Flasche Wein.
Für unsere Jungs waren die beiden Pools das Highlight. Wir hatten sie trotz Hauptsaison oftmals für uns allein.
Mit dem Auto kann man in kürzester Zeit viele schöne Städte im Umkreis erreichen. Man kann an vielen Stellen am Gardasee baden oder auch mit dem Schiff fahren.
Auch Verona ist mit dem Auto gut erreichbar.
Insgesamt hatten wir eine wunderbare Woche die leider zu schnell vergangen ist. Wir werden auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder kommen um noch mehr von der schönen Gegend zu erkunden.
Genial ist auch die Lage. Ruhig und idyllisch und trotzdem zentral, um Ausflüge rund um den Gardasee zu unternehmen (dazu muss gesagt sein, dass wir alles mit dem Auto gemacht haben, für die Nutzung von öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln kann ich es nicht einschätzen).
So sind die Fähren in Torri (5 Minuten mit Auto) und Malcesine (40 Minuten mit Auto) schnell erreicht und die Überfahrten nach Toscolano und Limone fanden wir lohnenswert.
Auch die Madonna della Corona war schnell mit dem Auto erreicht sowie die vielen hübschen Städtchen zwischen Malcesine und Sirmione.
Ansonsten sind die Kids-Hotspots Canevaworld und Gardaland nicht weit weg. Unsere Kinder fanden aber auch die vielen (Skaliger-)Burgen super und besonders die Steinstrände (im klaren Wasser konnte man viel besser die Fische sehen). Der Sandstrand in Lazise hatte zu unserer Reisezeit eher trübes Wasser.
In Albisano selbst kann man sehr gut in einer kleinen Osteria auf dem Marktplatz und einer 100 Meter weiter gelegenen Tavernette essen.
Bei der Osteria gibt es einen kleinen Tante Emma Laden. Größere Einkäufe lassen sich problemlos im Supermarkt Dpiu in Garda oder im Famila in Costermano machen.
Die Wohnung selbst war für uns wunderbar, sehr sauber und entspricht der Darstellung auf den Fotos.
Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und waren immer ansprechbar. Vielen Dank dafür!
