At the foot of the National Park The Salland Heuvelrug, in the heart of Overijssel, lies Holiday park Hellendoorn. The park is surrounded by splendid forests and stretched out heath lands. An ideal holiday spot for bikers and hikers who want to enjoy rest, space and nature. The park itself offers numerous facilities in the culinary-, sportsmen- and recreational area. If you want to look for adventure outside the park, then Adventure park Hellendoorn is a nice idea for a day trip with the entire family.

An attractive holiday park on the edge of the Sallandse Heuvelrug, not far from the Hellendoorn Adventure Park.

Hellendoorn Adventure: Look for the opening of the Adventure Park Hellendoorn at the website www.avonturenpark.nl. At the reception of the park you can buy entrance tickets with discount.

The cottage is dated. Everything functions. Unfortunately no fireplace. Furthermore, a great place at the holiday park.

We booked there because there was supposed to be a pool; upon arrival, we found out that there is no pool. Then the house was not properly heated even though they knew a small child was traveling with us; the bedrooms were much too small. I think no more than 4 people should be in the house if you want space. Then there were damages in the house that seem to have existed for a while, a broken bedroom door, heating in the bathroom patched with tape, very strange. Charging extra money for the children's chair is quite strange; I think that should be part of the good standard. For this reason, all 6 of us left much earlier than planned. Due to the mistakes, I have already applied for a travel reduction according to the Frankfurt table, setting a deadline until 15.01.2026; otherwise, I will take further steps. This house was an imposition for 6 people plus a small child. So we will not book there again under any circumstances, as we have never had such a bad experience in Holland. The pool was extremely important, and it was confirmed to me in writing, as my little grandson is a little water rat. I hope you understand me and that we can come to an agreement.
