The wellness chalets are the exclusive version of the mountain forest chalets, 4 semi-detached houses of the highest standard. They are located in a quiet cul-de-sac with an unobstructed view of nature. Here, peace, relaxation and chilling out are the order of the day. Under the spacious terraces, each house has a real wellness area: Finnish sauna with complete glazing to the outside, another shower area and a furnished relaxation room with refrigerator and Bose sound system. Adjacent to this is a 20 m² sauna terrace equipped with sauna loungers. More is not possible :-)))
As with our Bergwaldlodges Einklang & Blickfang, we have paid attention to high-quality and, above all, complete furnishings. The look & feel is based on the Cosmopolitan New York style. With ceramic tiles on the tables, velvet-covered upholstered furniture, box-spring beds in the spacious bedrooms and an ambient lighting concept, the holiday starts as soon as you unlock the front door. For a fifth person, there is an extra bed on the gallery upstairs. A sliding-door wardrobe with chest of drawers and two metres per bedroom offers enough space for the contents of two large suitcases. Living out of a suitcase is obsolete here ;-))
This makes the wellness chalets perfect for a 14-day holiday.
In the living room, a Bose sound system provides the necessary entertainment. The bedrooms are also equipped with Smart TV and sound bar.
No wishes remain unfulfilled here.
Each house will have a charging station at the allocated parking space. The installation is still in progress due to current delivery problems.
The costs for the charging current will be billed together with the sauna electricity via an intermediate meter.

The Bergwaldchalets are located in a quiet cul-de-sac but within walking distance of the centre on a slope directly in and near nature. Old trees border directly on the chalets and through the foliage you have a view of the Wurmberg.

The exclusive Bergwald Lodges & chalets in the idyllic village of Schierke (municipality of Wernigerode) offer every opportunity for individual holiday planning thanks to their exclusive location in the Bode Valley with views of the Wurmberg and Winterberg mountains. The high-quality log cabins with feel-good character are located on quiet hillside properties just a few minutes' walk from the centre of Schierke and the Brocken hiking trail.
Activities:
Schierke is 600 m above sea level at the foot of the Brocken and the Winterberg. An ideal environment for hikers, skiers, cross-country skiers, cyclists and mountain bikers. The Wurmberg ski area is 12 km away. Cross-country skiing trails start directly at the village borders in the direction of nature
The historic Harz narrow-gauge railway from the turn of the century provides nostalgia. Its steam locomotive invites you to take a ride on the Brocken with a fantastic view of the Harz mountain landscape. The journey starts directly at Schierk railway station. If you are looking for a window seat, you should board the train in Drei Annen Hohne (approx. 7 km away).
Of course, ice skaters will also get their money's worth: the traditional ice stadium in Schierke will delight all visitors with a new building of a very special kind. But also the summer toboggan run, the "Brocken-Coaster", provides great fun for the whole family - and it works even without snow!
Surroundings:
New impressions and even more variety are offered by towns such as Wernigerode, Blankenburg, Quedlinburg, Braunlage or Goslar, which are between 20 and 45 minutes by car from Schierke. The Christmas market "In den Höfen" in Quedlinburg is particularly recommended in December. Here, over 20 courtyards offer their own little Christmas contemplation with handicrafts, live music, art, punch, mulled wine and treats. A trip to Goslar is worthwhile for the picturesque old town, the "Kaiserpfalz" (imperial palace) and the town hall square with its carillon in the tower.
In the surrounding area are the stalactite caves of Rübeland, a western town and several reservoirs and dams. Brave visitors can descend into the valley by hanging from a steel cable over one of the reservoirs. :-)

| The actual daily price (day of arrival) for electricity consumption (currently 0.40 €/Kw/h) for the use of the sauna and charging station (intermediate meter) will be invoiced on departure. The consumption costs for the remaining electricity, water and heating are included in the rental price. You have already paid the visitor's tax of EUR 3.00 per person (adults; children half) and day with your payment. The deposit is 200 EUR and is also due with your payment and will be refunded pro rata by bank transfer less any costs incurred. |

For cycling and winter sports enthusiasts, there is a communal storage room for all residents of the chalets.
Occasionally, a red deer family may drop by on the property ;-))
There is a parking space for each chalet. Soon, in August at the latest, each parking space will have its own charging station (wallbox). The charging current will be billed together with the sauna current via an intermediate meter at 40 cents/kWh on departure.
The other electricity consumption is included in the rental price, as are all other energy and water costs

After the construction of the Bergwaldlodges and, as part of a joint project with my brother-in-law, the Bergwaldsuites with the Vin'Osteria Montevino all in Schierke, the Bergwaldchalets project followed, half a kilometre away Due to the success with the previous projects, we, my wife Astrid and I, dared to build another 8 units, spread over 4 semi-detached houses. And then came Corona.... But after two years of construction, the 8 Bergwaldchalets are now standing in all their attractiveness on a slope of the Alte Wernigeröder Straße. We are proud of ourselves for having successfully completed this major project despite all the adversities. In the meantime, I have given up my previous management job in another industry and am a landlord and tourism expert with heart and soul. To this end, I founded Harzspots GmbH and also run the Harz portal harzspots.com. A visit to the site is certainly worthwhile!:)))
