In Gyenesdias - a suburb of Keszthely - our holiday home was built on the foundation walls of an old farmhouse in Hungarian style; the upper floor is generously extended (extra bathroom etc.)
The house offers a certain basic comfort, such as central heating, satellite TV and stylish furnishings. A tiled stove, the painting of the living room as well as parts of the furniture still remind of the old farmhouse
It is situated in a quiet location in Pelicani utca in the village of Gyenesdias and is surrounded by a large fenced garden with old trees, a garage in the style of the house and a vineyard. There are still some adult bicycles in the garage, but their roadworthy condition cannot be guaranteed. Please check this yourself on site. The use is at your own risk. However, in Keszthely there is also a bicycle rental with an extensive offer.
Special features: The house is also suitable for 2 couples, as each has a floor at their disposal. All around an oasis to feel good, no 08/15 holiday home
The kitchen can seat 4-5 people around the table
You can enjoy the morning sun at breakfast on the side terrace, where the sun shines until about 2 pm; later it shines directly on the house from the front and the evening sun later shines on the terrace directly in front of the front door! There, the evening meal and the Hungarian wine taste especially good!
The cleaning fee of 80 euros is paid on site to the neighbour Kati; if you arrive with a dog, she would like an additional 20,- €.

It is not far to a riding school, the two lidos (approx. 7 min. by car), various restaurants, supermarkets,
( Aldi , Lidl, Spar, Tesco ) and a protected landscape area with many hiking trails.
Gyenesdias is a quiet seaside resort with about 3400 inhabitants in the immediate vicinity of the cultural city of Keszthely and only 6 km away from the world-famous spa Heviz with its warm lake.
Gyenesdias has 2 beautiful beaches: the beach of "Gyenes" and the beach of "Dias": restaurants, sports fields, table tennis, streetball, water polo, giant slide, partly shady playground, children's programmes, lovely sunbathing lawn ----. You can find all this there.
Horse riding, hiking, sailing, fishing, cycling and tennis are also possible.
Last but not least, the delicious Hungarian cuisine and the typical Hungarian wines make your holiday a real pleasure.

A house to fall in love with, it has everything you need for a lovely vacation. The location is perfect, a bit away from the hustle and bustle, yet everything is easily accessible.

This holiday home is simply beautiful - and that in every respect.
We spent a wonderful week of very relaxing vacation in this lovingly furnished holiday home. The location is quiet and perfect for relaxing; you are in nature, but at the same time, you can quickly get to the village or the beach of Lake Balaton. The house truly exudes a lot of charm; it was very clean, well-equipped, and we lacked nothing – especially the large terraces to the garden with a view of the greenery and the covered terrace in front of the entrance of the house thrilled us. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds are very comfortable.
The contact with the hosts was warm and uncomplicated. They provided us with great tips and were always approachable.
We would come back anytime and can warmly recommend this house – ideal for couples, families, or anyone who just wants to unwind!
