The vacation apartment has a large living and dining area with an open, fully equipped kitchen and a double bed (180 cm). Through the generously open gable side, one enjoys a direct view of the property with the large lime tree, the surrounding mountains (Eube / Pferdskopf) as well as the starry sky in clear weather. In the separate bedroom, there is another double bed (160 cm) and a desk with a view of the valley. The bathroom under the sloping roof is equipped with a shower that allows one to shower with a view when the roof window is open. Please note that the ceiling height here may be somewhat cramped for taller individuals.
The kitchen includes a ceramic hob with 4 burners and complete equipment for cooking and dining.

The property with an open spacious plot is situated in an idyllic outdoor location with a stream, fish pond, colourful flower meadows and close to the forest, in the middle of the Rhön biosphere reserve. From the flat and the outdoor area you can enjoy the unspoilt view of the Rhön mountains (including Pferdskopf). The Guckaisee is a 30-minute walk away. The former country school building was completely rebuilt and renovated in 2004.

Great holiday flat - relaxation guaranteed
We as a couple spent a very relaxing weekend at the Alte Landschule. The holiday flat is very tastefully furnished: small design elements are integrated everywhere, located in the middle of nature and equipped with everything you need. Perfect starting point for activities in the region (Guckaisee, Wasserkuppe, Fulda, Rotes Moor etc.). The communication with Marion was always cordial, fast and uncomplicated. We will definitely be back!

Relaxation and nature
We had the penthouse at our disposal for 11 days and we immediately fell in love with the magnificent
The view through the large east gable window and the Velux windows. The view over extensive
Meadows and the large old trees in front of the house brought instant relaxation.
The flat, furnished with an unerring eye for comfort and cosiness, contributed to our well-being in equal measure

As expected at first sight, everything else was also perfect: the furnishing and equipment of the kitchen , the bathroom and the sleeping comfort of the beds. Everything is furnished with great attention to detail.
We therefore experienced the 3 continuous rainy days in the flat completely carefree.
During the other days we made use of the many hiking and cycling possibilities in the immediate surroundings

Pure relaxation
In mid-August, we were guests in the attic flat for 8 days with our dog
We immediately felt very comfortable, because it has been thoughtfully furnished with heart. It was very nice that we could start our hikes from the front door.
Communication with Mrs. Bub was always uncomplicated, quick and cordial: she is a great hostess!
We were particularly impressed that despite the very high outside temperatures, the flat was never hot or stuffy (even with the windows closed!)
We had a great holiday all round - and will be happy to come back.

Nature, tranquillity and design - perfect for relaxing
We - two adults, two children and a dog - spent two and a half weeks on holiday in the attic flat of the Alte Landschule and felt completely at home. It is tastefully furnished with great details. The view from the windows goes everywhere into the green and at night you can see the stars. In the immediate vicinity there are paths for small and large rounds - ideal for our dog. As quiet as the flat is situated, you can reach Fulda, Fladungen, Gersfeld or the Red and Black Moors by car very quickly. Mrs. Bub was very friendly and always available for questions. She provided hiking maps and information material and gave us good tips for excursions and restaurants. We will be happy to come back!
