Note: From 31 August until 2 September 2026, the catering facilities will be closed due to the arrival of a group of students. As a result of their presence, some inconvenience or disturbance may occur during this period.
Waterslide Closure - Due to the replacement of the waterslide in the swimming pool, it will be out of service from May 4 to July 2, 2026. The swimming pool itself will remain open.

Hunzepark holiday park can be found at the edge of the Hondsrug sand ridge, in a beautiful area of forest and heathland. Cyclists are perfectly in their element here. You can explore Drenthes nature preserves with a bicycle map available at reception. Go tracking through the forest together or take the horse-drawn tram along the most scenic spots. The water-rich surroundings offer plenty of opportunities for fishing, canoeing, swimming and boating. Golfers have come to the right place as well, with a golf course just a short distance from the park. One of the most popular attractions in the northern Netherlands is Emmen Zoo, which is right by Hunzepark. You can learn all about the history of the regions dolmens at the Hunebedcentrum in Borger. And theres more history to be discovered at De Veenkoloniën dairy farm, where you can learn everything there is to know about cheese and clogs. Hunzepark offers the ideal holiday for anyone seeking relaxation and room to breathe.
Hunzepark is located at the edge of the Hondsrug sand ridge, surrounded by heath and forest. An ideal destination for anyone wanting to combine relaxation with activity.

The outdoor swimming pool is open from the beginning of May to mid-September. When the swimming pool is closed, you can use the swimming paradise of Holiday park Hunzedal.
Due to maintenance work, the swimming pool of the Hunzedal park is closed from Monday 01-11-2021 to Monday 08-11-2021.
For several parks a group deposit is charged. The amount of the deposit can differ per park and per group composition. The deposit will be an amount between €50 and €500 per person. Please take this into account when making the reservation. The reception desk of the park decides whether the deposit is necessary. If the accommodation is left in a proper condition, the deposit will be returned within 5 to 10 working days.

The safari tent was an excellent choice for our group! It offered plenty of space, and we appreciated the privacy of the rooms. The surrounding nature was peaceful, which made relaxing easier. I would definitely come back for another weekend retreat.

What a great escape! The tent was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We spent our mornings on the porch, with a cup of coffee and enjoying the view of the lake. The Mill de Juffer nearby provided a charming backdrop for our photos.

I found the glamping experience here amazing! The atmosphere was fantastic and the tent looked luxurious. I especially appreciated the proximity to places like the Hunebedcentrum, which we visited during our stay. The staff was welcoming and helpful.

Great place for families! The kids loved the outdoor activities available and we appreciated the convenience of a full kitchen. The proximity to Stations Stadskanaal and Eext made it easy for us to explore the area.
