Description
The holiday home offers space for 6 people on a living area of approx. 65 sqm. There are 3 bedrooms available, each with 2 sleeping possibilities.
The kitchen has a size of approx. 10 sqm. It has its own terrace, where you can relax with a cosy breakfast in the morning sun. The kitchen is equipped with a 4-plate electric cooker, extractor bonnet, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and kettle as well as crockery.
The large living room is the heart of the house and offers itself as a meeting place for the whole family: relaxed get-togethers, board games together or cosy TV evenings are just a few examples. On rainy days or in the evening after eventful excursions, the sofas and armchairs for six people invite you to relax. When the lake shimmers in the evening light, all worries become a distant memory.
From the living room you can access the terrace. From there you can enjoy the sunset over Lake Tjärnesjön
In the newly renovated bathroom you will find a shower and a water-flushed toilet according to German standards, which is very rare in houses with a direct lake location. In addition, all sanitary facilities are located in the building, so you don't have to wander to a toilet block in the garden in all weathers, as is often the case. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also available.
For the cooler days of the year, we have installed a powerful wood-burning stove in the living room. In addition, each room is equipped with radiators (electric, as usual in Sweden)t. A small, somewhat older sauna is also available
A boat belongs to the house and is included in the rental price. A motor can be rented for an extra charge.
Updates for the 2019 season:

Location and surroundings of object
From the house on the lake, you can enjoy numerous activities and excursions. You don't even have to drive long distances to enjoy unforgettable holiday experiences alone or with your family.
The house is located undisturbed at the end of a path directly by two small lakes (less than 20 metres away). The large lake Tjärnesjön, which invites you to swim and fish, lies directly behind it at a distance of about 100 metres from the house.
In the surrounding area there is a lot of nature, forests and lakes, which invite you to go hiking, cycling, mushroom hunting and much more
The nearest larger town is Ullared (approx. 10 km away) with plenty of shopping facilities, a medical centre and a pharmacy.
The next larger town is Falkenberg. In addition to good shopping facilities, there are excellent beaches on the Baltic Sea.
Gothenburg is the nearest large city. It is also called the cosiest big city in Europe
Ullared is also a few kilometres from the holiday home. Ullared is a small town that is famous for its extraordinary shopping facility "Gekås Ullared" - the largest supermarket in the world. However, you can also do your daily shopping here.

Accommodation good, disappointed with the boat and fishing.
The house is well equipped, nothing is missing and the cleanliness was really excellent. We were very disappointed with the boat, it was not in the water, but in the undergrowth and a lot of rainwater had accumulated in the boat. We were supposed to attach the engine in the morning and remove it in the evening and store it in the house. We assumed that the boat with the engine would be accessible at a pier, unfortunately this was not the case. This is the main reason why we will not rent this accommodation again.

Relaxed holiday
We were in Lilla Backa for the first time with two children and a dog and enjoyed the two weeks very much. The house was comfortably furnished, absolutely clean, the kitchen equipped with lots of utensils for baking and cooking, new TV, very good wifi were also available. The lake can be reached on foot across a meadow with a towel around your shoulders and has a very nice bathing area with a new jetty. The boat and motor work perfectly.
All neighbours were very friendly and helpful
The large veranda with lake view was the highlight of the house for us. If we had any questions, the Claßen family helped us very quickly and without complications.

Dreamlike holiday
A holiday that could not have been more beautiful. The holiday home is in a wonderfully quiet location and left nothing to be desired. The terrace is perfect and has a great lake view. We felt very comfortable and are looking forward to coming back next year. The very obliging contact with the landlords should also be mentioned in a very positive light.

Damn well recovered
2 weeks of pure relaxation. We took full advantage of the peace and quiet. Long walks with the dogs in the surroundings and of course shopping in Gekas in Ullared. But of course also siteseeing in Halmstad (city/beach), Falkenberg and Gothenburg. The house is beautifully situated at the end of the road, with a fantastic view. The facilities were perfectly adequate for us. Fishing from the shore was no problem, there were plenty of opportunities everywhere. The service, from the reception to the handover to Mr Hoffmann (caretaker service) was great and very uncomplicated. We would like to come back again and again.

Dreamy area, the holiday house was disappointing.
This summer, we went on vacation in Sweden and ended up in a beautiful area. Around our holiday home, there were several lakes, although the photo of the lake with a boat right outside the door advertised was not accurate for us. The boat and the lake belonged to the neighboring house. Upon entering the house, we unfortunately had to realize that the house was not really clean. The dirt had apparently been accumulating around the kitchen drawers and cabinets for a long time. There were still groceries left by the previous guest in the refrigerator. We generally felt that there was no final inspection between bookings. One guest leaves, the next arrives on the same day.
First, we had to vacuum the vacation rental, clean the dishes with the dishwasher, and clean some of the kitchen cabinets and drawers so that we could feel a little more comfortable. The sauna was used as storage space, and there was mold in the bathroom. In a wardrobe, there was a pile of bed linen with a note not to use it. Consequently, the wardrobe could not be used! In the kitchen, there were spices, flour, and others that seemed quite old. In the living room cupboard, there was clutter that, in my opinion, should not be in a holiday house. There is even a guestbook, but it already seemed a bit sparse and strangely contained only positive feedback.
In case of rain, one had to be very careful on the front terrace (entrance area) as it was very slippery. The gutter also overflowed quickly in wet weather here.
Our conclusion: We will never book this holiday home again. However, the area is recommendable.

danke für Ihr Feedback. Wir bedauern es sehr, dass Ihr Urlaub nicht so gelungen ist, wie Sie ihn sich gewünscht hätten. Das entspricht nicht unserem Anspruch an uns und wir werden alles daran setzen, in den genannten Punkten besser zu werden. Schade finden wir allerdings, dass Sie sich in dieser Form online beschweren, obwohl wir Ihnen bereits finanziell entgegen gekommen sind. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass Sie zufrieden mit der erzielten Einigung waren.
Bitte gestatten Sie uns daher noch einige Anmerkungen:
Es tut uns leid, dass Sie im Badezimmer Feuchtigkeit vorgefunden haben. Der Fehler ist mittlerweile behoben und der Schimmel entfernt. Im Frühjahr hatten wir für mehrere tausend Euro das Bad saniert. An einer Stelle ist hierbei eine Abdichtung nicht fachmännisch angebracht worden, sodass ein schleichender Wasserschaden das Problem verursacht hat.
Dass das Haus nicht geputzt aussah, darf nicht sein und wir möchten uns aufrichtig entschuldigen! Wir können nicht zu jedem Gästewechsel vor Ort sein und haben deshalb gelegentlich einen Dienstleister für die Endreinigung engagiert. Hier wurde ganz offensichtlich geschlampt, das nehmen wir selbstverständlich auf unsere Kappe.
Danke für die Hinweise zur Terrasse und zur Regenrinne, das werden wir schnellstmöglich abstellen.
Eine abschließende Bitte: Wir haben zu keiner Zeit mit einem Foto unseres Hauses mit Boot in dem See davor geworben. Unser Ferienhaus liegt, wie Sie wissen, in einer Seenlandschaft. Die beiden direkt angrenzenden Seen sind relativ klein und werden regelmäßig von Vögeln zum Brüten besucht. Allein schon deshalb wären sie für eine Bootstour nicht geeignet. Unser Boot lag nie in diesen Seen, sondern im 170 m entfernten Tjärnesjön, der sich mit seinen 300 Hektar hierfür viel besser eignet. Bitte mailen Sie uns den Link zu dem Bild, damit wir das prüfen können.

Great vacation house
