Goë and surroundings were very nice. The garden was very tired and well maintained, which we could not say directly from the cottage. There were quite a few defects. Broken drain in the basement, fridge with hooks and eyes hanging on each other, ... Last day the drain of the bubble bath in the basement also turned out to be broken, resulting in a flood. Took us half an hour to dry everything with a towel. We urgently need some repairs.

Everything is fine, just it is an old house, which means little and small windows. Especially on the ground floor. It is therefore always dark in the house during the winter period. To compensate for this, spots have been hung. Unfortunately, half of that does not work, so that you always remain in the twilight. This is the only regret about our stay and we do not understand that this has not been reported or resolved.

On arrival the door was not locked, could just walk in while no one was there. After 10 minutes the cleaning lady came to tell us in French that the owner would still contact us. Owner speaks good Dutch. Very quiet area and a very good bakery around the corner. We have a very nice walk to Lac du Gilleppe and there on the spot you can do nice walks but we are no further than the terrace hit (partly because of the very nice weather).

Upon arrival we were introduced by Stéphane who also gave some tips about the nearby shops and the environment. Baker around the corner was unfortunately with leave du we had to Dolhain, which is only 3 kilometers further. There is also a Delhaize. Have visited the Robertville dam and DD-AR is also an adventurous walk but for young people. Signal de Botrange is beautiful and have also visited Spa. Thanks to the beautiful weather we lived from the morning until the evening outside. The pool is a huge plus. It is a bit difficult for the elderly to come out because of lack of stairs. The house itself is ok and offers protection from the heat thanks to the thick walls. Above very hot.Is worth repeating.

Nice holiday, but the cottage could be better maintained. The light in the corridor was also broken (3 spots). No key for the front door. No explanation / contact on arrival or departure. The alarm is broken, causing the control panels to flash. A pipe is leaking somewhere at the pool, so there is a swampy place in the lawn. Costs are still settled. But no big things that stand in the way of a nice holiday. Price quality certainly okay!

Upon arrival we had to call the mw of the keys. This conversation was difficult because she all spoke French. What was clear was that we were not expected. She was a little panicky about with baby in maxi cosi with them and she did not have any keys herself. She suddenly left and came back with the cleaner of the house. This mw had the keys and went to clean quickly. The woman with the baby went away as quickly as she had come. The cleaning lady spent 2 hours cleaning and tried to apologize. She told her that she had called with the owner for 12 hours but she said she did not have to come. We ourselves have recorded the meter readings and we have not paid a deposit. Was not asked for. We have not seen anyone in the whole week. When we left, I put the key under a flowerpot in front of the cleaning lady's door. There were a lot of lamps in the accommodation and the hot tub and the sauna in the basement did not work. The swimming pool could not be used. There is certainly plenty of crockery, glasses, pans and cutlery available. The beds are fine. We did have our own pillows. The adjacent school makes a lot of noise from 8.10 to 8.30, 10.15 to 10.30 and after 15.15 to 16.30. The children play outside and shout a lot. Furthermore, it was a beautiful house and a beautiful environment. You do need the car to get to activities. The bakery around the corner is very nice so we had fresh bread every day. With good weather it is a beautiful location especially if you can use the pool. The garden is also beautifully fenced which makes it pleasant for smaller children.

A short but correct reception by the owner. The accommodation was a pleasant place to stay, especially in good weather. We have lived mainly in the spacious garden. The beds slept wonderfully. The kitchen is tiny for 12 people to cook well, but we used the living room for many preparations. Kitchen material was sufficiently available. Keep in mind that the fridge cools very slowly, perhaps ask the owner to switch on the refrigerator half a day in advance if you want to keep fish or meat well. Inside, the house is dark because of the small windows. Thumbs up for good weather so when you book!

The house was not clean on arrival: we cleaned the first hours. Especially the kitchen and kitchen appliances were dirty. We have completely cleaned the refrigerator, we did not use the appliances that we did not necessarily need. The frying pans are in urgent need of replacement. We washed the pots, glasses, plates and cutlery that we wanted to use, and used the same ones again and again. Since the sink was clogged, we always did all our dishes with the dishwasher, which we had previously cleaned. We did the rooms themselves first with the vacuum cleaner, but deserve a more thorough service, which also has to do with the fact that it old building. The room layout is strange: the sanitary facilities are IN 2 of the bedrooms with toilets: to go to the toilet at night you had to be in a bedroom where people were sleeping ... Positive: the garden and especially the well-kept and well-maintained swimming dock: a daily party for the children.

Upon arrival, the door was open and nobody else was seen. I did have telephone contact. Therefore no deposit paid. Fine stay had further! Everything looked neat. No one left and we left the door open. We think this is a bit strange. We had a great time with the family.

A very nice house for a family weekend. Surprisingly complete household goods. Only downside is that there is only one shower. 1 of the rooms has a toilet in the room, which I found very strange. Quiet environment. If you want the crowds, you have to look it up.

Friendly reception. It would be desirable if the contact person could also communicate a little in English. The presence of the (heated) swimming pool has clearly increased the fun.The kitchen is a bit small. We were with 3 families, totaling 11 people. The rooms were nicely furnished with plenty of baths. There was only one shower cabin in the whole house and we found this difficult. All in all a beautiful house with beautiful garden and worth considering to book again.

We were welcomed by the proprietor, she was friendly but unfortunately only spoke French.The house was tidy and clean and provided with all the comforts, bedrooms spacious, only the bathtubs under the sloping roofs very awkward. We really enjoyed the pool and the spacious garden. It was a quiet village, there was a good bakery around the corner. It is recommended to visit Gileppe Lake, it is about 5 km, there is a high lookout tower and a nice climbing area.

On arrival there was someone who gave a tour in Dutch. We were 10 people (6 adults and 4 teenagers) so the 5 rooms were more than sufficient. Also the available cooking equipment, glasses, cutlery and crockery was more than enough. Due to the Corona era, we have not been outside the house much. So we didn't see any of the surroundings. We spent 90% of the time outside on the terrace, the swimming pool and in the spacious garden. In the spacious garden there was room to play badminton and football. In short, for us this was a fantastic holiday.

We enjoyed a lovely family weekend with super nice weather and even mid October. We have even been able to make great use of the outdoor pool. It seemed like we were in the middle of France in a small village with a boulangerie where you can get on Sunday still tasty fresh rolls. So it was great! The area is super nice and Baragge Gileppe with the lake are nearby. The house is fully equipped and the owners are super friendly. It speaks useful if your French.

Super house with a great pool! Relax on the terrace in good weather. Keep in mind that there are only 3 full double rooms (4th is a queen) and only one communal toilet. For the rest a lot of space both inside and outside, cleanly maintained, super fun with a group of friends and any children!

The accommodation was not entirely satisfactory. It was very dusty and not cleaned up so well. The kitchen was primitive. Enough rooms and bathrooms. There was no stairs in the pool, making it difficult to get out of the pool. Not so handy for children and older people. We had to pay another 3.5 euros per garbage bag. We thought that was fairly expensive. The environment was good. The garden was very large and in order! Very nice to play. Also enough parking places.
