Description

2022 lavishly renovated, lovingly & modernly furnished house at Lake Sternberg - our holiday home "HeimatLiebe"!

The detached and cosily furnished holiday home offers pleasant comfort in coordinated colour harmony for 4 people. It has a living/dining room and a separate kitchen that leaves nothing to be desired.
Like a fresh breeze, the maritime look with its uncomplicated, clear shapes and classic blue-white-grey colour scheme invigorates the senses. As with the country house style, natural materials such as wood and concrete form the basis of this look. On cooler days, an electric fireplace not only provides the necessary warmth, but also cosy comfort
The master bedroom is located on the upper floor, which has a double bed (180x200) and a workstation. Home office can thus also be realised at the lake. The second bedroom is equipped with two single beds (100x200 each) and has a second TV
In addition to the spacious guest toilet on the ground floor, there is a shower room upstairs with a direct view of the lake

The terrace canopy provides shelter and allows you to enjoy the view of the lake even in bad weather, e.g. with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
The terrace is also equipped with comfortable garden furniture, a beach chair and a charcoal grill. Directly next to the house is the parking space and the garden house, where you can safely store your bicycles.
In addition, two SUP boards are available for our guests to use free of charge.

The house has an internet connection (WLAN) via fibre optics, which we of course provide free of charge.

Mecklenburg-Vorpommern means deep forests and sparkling lakes, home to many animals such as sea eagles, storks, kingfishers and many more. Culture and nature are uniquely combined. Kilometres of cycling and hiking trails in the Sternberg lake district (with more than 90 lakes)
The "Upper Lakes", for example, the crystal-clear spring lakes are a refuge for otters, lizards, kingfishers, orchids and broom bushes.

Extraordinary

We felt very comfortable. We particularly liked: the proximity and view of the lake, the loving and practical furnishing of the house, the fully equipped kitchen with utility room, that there was a guest toilet in addition to the bathroom, and that the city center is easily reachable on foot in 10 minutes. Ms. Dührkop responded immediately to the inquiry and was always helpful when there were questions. The contract signing and moving into the house were completely uncomplicated. We can recommend the house!

Sought & Found "HomeLove"

We reserved the holiday home HeimatLiebe last summer.
It was exactly the accommodation we were looking for.
Inquiry written & booked!
Unfortunately, the beautiful time is already over again.
We really enjoyed the free days in this cozy holiday domicile; we were very well accommodated here.
The view of the lake was unique & relaxing. The natural, quiet place by the holiday home was very refreshing. The rowing boat and the SUPs were well used, and we took a bike tour around the lake. A private egg delivery service is offered; the eggs are fresh and delicious - definitely worth trying!
Thank you for this break in a wonderful place.
It was lovely!

Stylish holiday cottage

Lovingly furnished, equipped with everything needed for a relaxing vacation.
Beautiful view of the lake, parking at the house, a covered terrace with seating, loungers, and even a beach chair. An electric fireplace for cozy evenings on the sofa was also available.

Holiday from the first second!

We had the pleasure of spending our vacation in this beautiful holiday home HeimatLiebe am Sternberger See... and it was simply fantastic.

The location is wonderful - directly on the shore of the lake.
The house itself was immaculately clean and very lovingly furnished. We particularly liked the cozy and tasteful maritime style.
It was equipped with everything we needed for a relaxed stay.
We enjoyed the view of the lake at any time of the day.

We spent our days exploring the surrounding area on foot, by bike, and with the rowing boat provided by the house. Unfortunately, we couldn't try out the two SUPs that were available to us because it was too cold.

Furthermore, you should definitely take advantage of the house delivery service for fresh eggs and visit the fishery Sternberg in Seestraße. The nice fishing family offers delicious fresh fish.

Our hosts Isabel and Torsten were extremely friendly and helpful. Despite the distance, they were always reachable and there for us. This made us feel at home.

This vacation in HeimatLiebe was an unforgettable experience. We will recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful holiday home, peace, relaxation, and nature experiences. We would love to come back!

Holiday at first sight

Thanks to their house, we had a vacation from the beginning. The house is top all around. What we missed was a wardrobe, so we had to live out of our suitcases. That worked too. We will recommend the house to our circle of friends at any time.

A beautiful house

The house is perfectly equipped and quietly located directly on Lake Sternberg. The house includes a rowing boat and two paddleboards with which you can explore the lake. 50 m away, there is a bathing spot that gently slopes into the water. Everything you need is available in the house and on the property. The house is very tastefully furnished, with a maritime theme as the main focus of the "house design".
The surrounding area is beautiful, you can go hiking, cycling, paddling, or take trips to the nearby Baltic Sea. You will be able to spend a relaxing and interesting vacation in the "Heimatliebe" house. We highly recommend the house.

A fantastic vacation home

We had a great and relaxing vacation.
The vacation home is beautiful and we really liked it. Everything is harmonious and color-coordinated. It is lovingly and tastefully decorated with many maritime details.
The view of the lake is simply fantastic. Even in the rain, you can enjoy this view outside, as the terrace is covered. Otherwise, everything you need for a relaxed and restful vacation is available in the vacation home.

We felt very welcome. We were very happy about the small flower greeting and the drinks.

Restful

The holiday home is located in a peaceful area with access to the lake. It's only a few minutes' walk to the city center. The proximity to the beach is particularly advantageous for children. A rowboat is available. The house is beautifully furnished and has everything you need for a lovely holiday. The rental process was very straightforward. The landlord was very friendly and would have been available if needed. We had a very nice holiday with our grandson (3 years old).

Spontaneous time-out at Haus Heimatliebe

We decided spontaneously and at fairly short notice to take a few days off and were pleased that this was possible without any problems at Haus Heimatliebe. The landlords are very nice and were always available to answer our questions. The house is really furnished with a lot of love and very tastefully, you will find everything you need. The view of the lake is a highlight and certainly invites many guests to swim in the summer.
We used the days for long walks in the really beautiful surroundings despite the mixed weather and made ourselves really cosy with the fireplace in the afternoons and evenings.
Many thanks to family Dührkop for exactly the time-out we had imagined. We had a very good rest and will definitely be back.

Holidays at Haus Heimatliebe

We - 2 adults & 1 dog - spent a week in the Dührkop family's holiday home in July. The location of the lovingly furnished cottage and the view of the lake from the dining table were a special highlight for us. Ideally, there is even a small bathing area less than 5 minutes away on foot. The Sternberg and the surrounding lakes are ideal for holidaymakers who are looking for peace and quiet and feel comfortable in nature. For us it was perfect! Also the correspondence with the very friendly landlady from the booking to our departure went completely smoothly. We say "thank you" and wish the family many more satisfied holidaymakers.
