A newly renovated holiday home invites you to relax with every imaginable amenity,
a wood-burning stove that can be used as an open fireplace or as a closed stove,
all rooms with state-of-the-art electric heating,
TV, games and reading corner,
2 bedrooms, one --180 x 200, the second bedroom with two single beds -- 90 x 200
1 children’s/guest room with a --1.20 x 2.00m bed,
on request with one or two travel cots as well as a high chair for children, up to two can be provided,
1 shower room with WC and washbasin,
fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, induction hob and oven, microwave, fridge and freezer combination, coffee machine, toaster, egg cooker, waffle iron, rolling pin with baking tins, can and bottle opener, etc.

Location and surroundings of object

a holiday home in one of the most beautiful locations of Gartow on the lake/Wendland.
A spacious property with hidden seating and lounging areas, partly with old trees, as well as a playground for the children, is a wonderful feature here.
A newly created winter garden with adjoining terrace and garden fireplace for mild evenings with a nice drink completes the feel-good factor.

The distance to the spa, well, possible in about ... wearing only a bathrobe. 3-4 min, it is also only about 3-4 min. to the Gartower See, which also tempts you to go there wearing only a bathrobe.

Unfortunately, I had to remove the old apple tree, but in this context the box trees were also removed and the garden was partially redesigned.

In the past weeks/months, the weather has repeatedly been nice and also dry, no rain, and in the various rural regions there have been warnings against open fires or barbecuing outdoors, to the disadvantage of our holiday guests. From this, we have learned and have removed the charcoal grill from our property.
From now on, you can only use a wonderful electric grill outdoors here (barbecuing). Please also refrain from bringing your own charcoal grill, THANK YOU. There is also a private fleet with a ladies’ and a men’s bicycle, a mountain bike, and a bike for the little one in size 24.

Neat, clean, and a super nice landlord.

We have been coming to Wendland to Gartow for a long time, and this was our first time at Mr. Christ's accommodation. Upon arriving in the fresh autumn, the warm stove was already lit and music was playing in the holiday home, which made it very inviting. The furnishings of the house, including the garden and the beautiful winter garden, were perfect for us as a family with three children. We will definitely come back, simply because it doesn't matter what season it is, there is plenty to discover and it's just great for a vacation.

Super equipped, wonderfully modernized holiday home, where the feel-good atmosphere and the charm of solid wood have been preserved.

We had a wonderful week in this house. Our two dogs also felt very comfortable. We had the opportunity to contact Mr. Christ at any time, who was always friendly. The house is well equipped with everything you need and is cozily furnished. We would love to come back.

Beautiful holiday home in a dream location

This beautiful holiday home leaves nothing to be desired. . . it is equipped with everything one needs. . . the holiday home is clean and furnished with a lot of love. . . my husband and I were very kindly welcomed by the landlord and we received a very lovingly designed welcome package. . . thank you again for that ☺️. . . the three bedrooms are very well equipped with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, mirror, and everything is lovingly designed. . . . The bathroom has a spacious shower that is very large. . . on the terrace, there is a table and chairs, and there are 2 large loungers available that also have the matching cushions. . . furthermore, there are 2 relaxing loungers in the conservatory that are very comfortable. . . a great electric grill, which we of course used, is also available. . . another highlight is the children's swing with slide. . . our granddaughter was thrilled. . . there is quite a bit to discover nearby. . . . The Gartower Lake can be reached in 5 minutes... here you can let your soul dangle or walk around the lake... the Wendland Therme is no more than 200 meters from the holiday home... we visited the Klaus Bahlsen Tower (a must-see) and with luck, you can observe the sea eagle there... in short, it was a wonderful vacation in a holiday home that leaves nothing to be desired... We are very happy to recommend this beautiful holiday home and are already looking forward to the next vacation in Gartow that we will spend there again... once again a big thank you to Mr. Christ??? Great vacation and....

We were in Gartow for 14 days and found the place and the accommodation totally great. So great that we booked it again for next year.

Any questions about that? If it hadn't been great, would you go there again?

The equipment of the house leaves almost no wishes unfulfilled, and we think that the real small things will be changed. The refrigerator door opening was just impractical, it can be changed, and we think it will be changed. Monkey shooting to the other things that are really okay.

The house itself is pet- and child-friendly, and the furnishings leave nothing to be desired.

Shopping options are reachable by bike and on foot. Penny Market and Edeka are around the corner.

You can explore the area well by bike, and the storage of the bikes in the shed is good, and you can recharge your e-bikes there. What you should definitely do:

Play mini-golf around the corner
Eat at Hanna in Nienwalde (Polish cuisine) try the potato pizza. Open only from Thu. - Sun. 5:30 PM to 9 PM.
Boathouse across from the lake. Similar opening hours. Reserve a table!!
Bike workshop in the village. Great service and top-notch.

Snack bar by the lake. Poor service and terrible food.

Sorry if there's also a review of the surroundings included, but that's part of it. As can be seen in the evaluation, we are coming back! ! !

Vacation for relaxation for the whole family

We were warmly welcomed by Mr. Christ, including a small welcome greeting.
Great holiday home to feel at ease, especially for dogs and children.
The holiday home is super equipped; nothing is missing, and if it is, the landlord is always reachable and concerned about the well-being of his guests. The location is great; within a few minutes' walk, you are at the lake and in the village with supermarkets and restaurants.

Holiday home Heureka

A beautiful holiday home with a large fenced garden. Fully equipped, everything was also available in the garden: seating area, parasols, barbecue, fire pit, bicycles, and most importantly for us - play equipment for the kids. We really liked it here, as everything is within walking distance or reachable by bike. And the children felt very comfortable here.

very cosy

the small holiday home is wonderfully nestled in a holiday complex and yet you are absolutely to yourself due to an enclosed property with good, old growth all around. Even on the hot days of this summer, we always had enough shade so that the stay was very comfortable even with small children. The garden loungers and the swing with slide were great, so parents and grandma could relax and the children were in good hands.
The house is cosy and there is everything you need. We especially enjoyed the little iron stove in the garden in the evenings and chased away the morning chill in the house with the fantastic little wood stove on the first few days. The wood available and the cots and high chairs provided free of charge were a special comfort
Many thanks to Mr Christ. We had a relaxing and wonderful time and will be happy to come back.

Very nice holiday home

A very beautiful holiday home that was furnished by the landlord with a lot of love and energy. We lacked nothing. Everything we needed for everyday life was there. Also a small fenced garden with a swing for our children, to which you could even attach a hammock. We were even allowed to set up a small children's pool. We also really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the small holiday home settlement. Smaller excursion destinations are also nearby, such as Lake Gartow or the thermal baths or a water playground.
All in all, it was a nice holiday that we enjoyed very much.
